These Jonathan arse-lickers will not cease to amaze me. The job Jonathan went to do in Tanzania is the same job OBJ and Abdulsalami have been doing all round Africa countlessly and effortlessly without noise. Even up to peacekeeping in warring nations. Doesn't even make them saints or worse than who they are.

Senator Ben Murray Bruce has only been tweeting on Twitter with zero contribution to debates and issues on the floor of the senate. All he does is follow other senators of his party on Saraki errands and boycotts without saying or airing his own views. The same he is criticizing Buhari is the same way the people who voted him will criticize him if he continues this way. Till then let him continue his Abobaku task for Jonathan.
I tire my brother, OBJ and abdussalam have been monitoring elections all over africa with no noise, ordinary Tanzania wey Jona go, we no fit hear word again. Its even the same Obj and Abdussallam that used their experience to advise GEJ to behave himself and not go the way of Gbagbo of Ivory coast, Now Jona supporters cannot allow us rest because of a man who conceded an election he lost which was so glaring to the whole world.

If Jonathan was that good, he would have been re-elected, Abdussalam Abubakar is another great Nigerian we forget too in a hurry, as a military head of state, he successfully handed over to a civilian administration with no bloodshed. He is even the chairman of the so called peace committee that prevailed on Jonathan to behave properly that Murray bruce is hyping all over the place now.

Truth be told, Jonathan is responsible for where PDP find themselves today and Murray bruce should more concerned about reviving a dying PDP than singing the praise of a man who drown his party with almost no remedy.

Hate him or like him, the man is an international figure highly respected by the western world. Remember until Buhari came back on may 29, he remained the only civilian and military President Nigeria ever had.

Even Obj worst critics still go to Ota to consult Baba, PDP won't mind having baba back in his fold, he was the glue holding them together, only GEJ emotional supporters will disagree. He made both Yar adua and Jona President. i can't forget the day Yar Adua's mother went to ota to thank Baba for making her son President. The man na real ebora owu lol.

Dear , Politics is business, Amaechi is one of the financiers of that business, how can anyone shut him out of his business?. yeah, 'change' from one leadership to another. We have to know the difference between party politics and real revolution. Even from Rivers state, should we have any senator representing that state now at the senate? we saw what happened and the opinions of both local, independent and international monitoring teams.
don't mind them bruv, when the rivers governorship election was annulled by the tribunal which was a departure from the past when such elections would have been upheld, the PDP guys never saw it as change. They only cry what has changed when things don't favour their party. They are bunch of jokers!

if we agree that what PDP did then was wrong, then how does APC doing the same thing signify change? and progressiveness?
you guys keep blackmailing this govt with this same lines to try and change people's perception about PMB's integrity but still its not working. Indeed what has changed is that PDP cannot have its way any longer and you guys are so pained. That to us is the change we longed for to witness the final burial of PDP. period

Things would begin to look better when people like you who evidently have got little clue on politics begin to resist the temptation of jumping into every topic and drawing asinine conclusions.

The apposite alternative should have been to reflect on what we are talking about instead quoting Plato out of context.

The PDP is an opposition party. Their rejection of Amaechi's candidature certainly would have implications for Buhari's government already viewed by many Nigerians as sectional.

Think it through...
Just like the rejection of Obanikoro as Minister then by APC senators had implications for Jona govt abi? you guys are comedians you know lol

You must be taking those lunatics too seriously, first I am yet to hear any Igbo Elite push for Biafra, Chinua Achebe only sold his books with the status quo which is understandable from a business point of view.

The Elites of Igbo land are feeding fat from Nigeria and have interests neck deep in Nigeria which a Biafran struggle will mar, those interests will stop at nothing to silence the struggle so don't bother about that.

Take out Radio Biafra and you will not year of Biafra again in 2016.
you nailed it there, the igbo elite don't give a damn about biafra, they are just pained that GEJ lost elections, when they begin to get their contracts back, they will be the one to tell PMB to allow them deal with the issue once and for all. no be this naija we dey, abegi, next pls

The conclusion of this article reads that pdp may be strangled to death with PMB's moves.

Exactly what we want for a party who strangled Nigeria and especially NNPC whose accounts is now in red.

death to the pdp cos they don't even believe they are now in opposition, they still want to share the ruling position with the pdp especially with the agabaya known as Ekweremadu as dsp.

its either pdp change their name or they remain dead.

Pdp have no moral justification to speak or stand against against the confirmation of Amaechi. were they blind when obanikoro was nominated?
Mr Akpabio, a corrupt majority leader who is currently facing charges with Efcc has no moral justification to even open his mouth. Joshua Dariye was also arrested for money laundering, removed from office as governor for six months and a state of emergency was declared in his state. I don't need to introduce Theodore Orji, who squandered about 474billion with his family now talking about corruption.
Also Stella Oduah, who bought two BMW for about 240million naira, was removed as later removed a as minister shouldn't say anything. Eyinnaya Abaribe was Impeached as deputy governor for corruption. We all know Buruji Kashamu, he suppose to be cooling off in jail right now. If not because Nigeria doesn't have a viable legal institution, these thieves suppose to be chilling inside prison right now,
and the funny thing is that they all walked out forming anti corruption stance! Truly PDP is nothing 'Papa Deceiving Pikin in Ohiomole's voice.

Metuh is very immature and he is finally burying PDP gradually, who cares about PDP anyway. They can go into extinction sef

Stop it! Who goes into an international match with a single Striker. Stop being sentimental, Matins came in from the bench for Emenike in the era of Keshi.
Any player can sit on the bench depending on the coach tactics (old or new).

Talking about being relevant, do you believe Emenike will experience dip in form just after two yes.

Young players are not immune to loss of form too.

Ballack played till the birth of Ozil and kadirah in 2010
that is what you guys will say now but when the trouble will start between the player and coach, if the coach stops inviting him, you all will be arms blaming the coach. Nigerian fans and the media are the ones who fuel crisis in our national teams. I agree with you certainly that Emenike has dip in form and this is my fear for martins, why don't we just allow the guy enjoy his pension in US and save him from the kind of headaches Emenike had. Younger players loose form and regain form may be due to lack of playing time or injuries but they get back easily to form but that cannot be said of players who are well above 30. Please let's be real, this is about the future.

You are the one being deceived. You can't be blind to a player that is playing well especially when you don't have immediate replacement.

Kaka was in and out of Brazilian national team yet they are rebuilding. Seems you don't understand the meaning of the word
We do have replacement in ighalo and Iheanacho, but as usual, we are too impatient. The martins you are enjoying now is a product of patience over the years. You can't invite an old player to the Nigerian national team and put him on the bench for younger players, that is my point. Martins may not be relevant to our world cup dreams in 2018. Why don't we focus on the players that are younger now so we can have a team that must have been playing together for three years by 2018. This is my point please.

Nigerian Players mentality are different from their peers in other climes, here the the older players still feel too important even when they know they should be giving way for the younger ones. We can move forward with that mentality

I insist Oliseh should have called up Success instead of Martins
Exactly, we need younger strikers ahead of the Nations in 2017 and world cup 2018, will martins still be hot by then?

Ighalo, ihenacho and Success should be leading our attacking line if we are truly moving forward
Sports › Re: Oliseh Recalls Martins, Invites Iheanacho, Aluko For Swaziland Tie by Goke7: 10:01am On Oct 29, 2015

When building a team, you need a blend of experience and young ones. Above all, you need inform players irrespective of the age.

A new team does not mean "combination of new set of players". A new team is about attitude, character and discipline of set of players ready to put on the green and white colour.
We are just deceiving ourselves talking about experience, going forward we need players we are sure that in the next three years when another world cup beckons, we are sure will be in form, any coach who knows what he is doing should be thinking about an Ihenacho and Ighalo striker partnership and should be playing them together for the next two years for them to blend properly. Bringing in a martins because he is scoring lots of goals in mls does not make sense. How will you as a coach keep martins on the bench for younger strikers. This is why our players don't develop. We can talk about the likes of Obobona and Omeruo because some older defenders had to make way for them.

Martins may have been forced on oliseh, i don't think it was his idea.

Any player's career can end at anytime. You can ask Dosu, Opabunmi and Amokachi.

Zambia lost a whole team to plane crash in 1993
Your examples here are unfortunate and do not relate to the issue at hand.

If according to Oliseh that we are building a new team, then the current National team should not serve as a window for the older players from the past to wind up their career finally. This is why i am of the opinion that even the likes of Enyeama, Mikel, Ambrose, Osaze, Emenike unfortunately and other senior players whose form may dip in the next two years should be quietly eased out of the National team in a honourably manner and testimonial matches organised for them.

Bring in a martins now shows desperation from Oliseh and buckling under unnecessary pressure from the same media who will still vilify him if things don't go as planned. Oliseh should grow some balls abeg

Moses keeps skipping mundane friendly Super Eagles matches all in the name of 'avioding injuries'.

How can you effectively blend and maintain cohesive football with the team if you constantly solicit for omission from the squad during friendly matches. or are you saying other players in camp are not vulnerable to injuries as well?

Moses's frivolous exercise towards the recent international friendly games crystally depicts that he has developed a slight or flamboyant apathy for the national team.

Such heinous mindsets and actions should not be assented anymore by NFF or the Coach.

A witty and patroitic player should be zealous and commmited to representing the national team when the need arises at such particular time.
I think Moses is done with the National team, he has won the nations cup and appeared in the world cup so what's there to achieve again. This is the issue with players from the diaspora, they get into the National team of their origin and bolt away when they get what they are looking for. I love Moses but he needs to prove some of us wrong that it may be when it is getting close to the next world cup, he may rekindle his interest in the team just like Prince boateng of Ghana.

Martins is a step backward though, we should be looking into the future not bringing old legs into the eagles. Major league soccer is equivalent of English league one and not even English championship. Will he invite a 38 years old from Oldham athletic or Swindon to the Eagles , we are a blessed country talent wise when it comes to football but most coaches want quick success instead of building future teams.
Exactly my brother, sentiments will continue to kill our National team, Enyeama and Emenike has retired from our National team all in the name of building a team for the future according to our Pep Guardiola only for Martins to be called back to the national team. The question then is are we moving forward or backward?

If Martins can be recalled, then Enyeama and Emenike should be back into the team except we are just deceiving ourselves as usual.

Can Martins keep his so called form for the next two years? if not calling back does not make sense.

Same way APC touted 'simple majority' until PDP showed them politricks through Saraki's emergence. Again, not learning any lessons, they are here making misguided comments until PDP pulls another trick from their sleeves.

I think that Amaechi should not have danced publicly at the judgment of the Rivers State election tribunal. He should have remained under the radar for the dust around him to settle.

Even away from politics, you don't openly laugh at an enemy. You will inflame disgust that can drive the devil to work in him.

In politics, even an enemy is lobbied, for a favorable ending.
Amaechi is in the ruling party, nothing do am at all! PDP became buried the day Ekweremadu could not preside over the senate when saraki was not available due to his appearance in court, forget the excuse of escorting saraki to court, if PDP was that powerful, Ekweremadu should have presided over a senate sitting at least for once since he emerged dsp.

APC are not fools, it was the naivety of PMB that led to the emergence of saraki but PMB is irked now with a pdp man becoming dsp. Saraki will just compound his problems if Amaechi is not confirmed today, you think the adjournment of his cases both at the appeal court and the cct are jokes?

Anybody who thinks APC will allow the PDP a foothold in its Government is on a long thing and the PDP themselves know it hence their continue rantings and wailings. All na shakara
