Obiagu1:
What was the over 200 touts doing at his hut?
He is a disgrace to any sane Yoruba that still got some sense of shame left in him/her.

Beating up a visitor to his house, walahi, Yorubas should hang him themselves for this disgrace.
Reason the ibos will continue to be disgraced everywhere, una no de hear word, all bragging no action, why don't you beat up the deji of akure himself

Why on earth do a typical Yoruba person choose to take pleasure in lies, falsehood and propaganda?

Was it PDP that instructed the Oba of Lagos and Dr Ariyo to threaten Igbos of extermination prior to the 2015 general elections?

Was it PDP or Igbos that used the media to heat up the polity by spreading lies and propaganda just to rubbish GEJ's efforts in the war against terror?

Was it PDP that compelled Fashola to kidnap and deport some Nigerians only to drop them at a dangerous location across the Niger in the dead of the night?

Was it PDP that gave orders to Yorubas to use any flimsy excuse to loot Igbo shops and lock their markets?

What sort of entreaties and disrespect are you talking about?
All the issues you have raised here were all sorted out and apologies were made by the APC even during the ministerial screening of fasola, so what else do you guys want? Vacate our houses for you? Why do you guys find it difficult to let go of the hurts of yesterday? Do you know how many hurts have been done to Yoruba people? Do you know how many people died during June 12, are we threatening to burn down Nigeria because of all the injustice done to the sw? Are we making trouble in other people"s land? Do you how many Yorubas live in Kaduna, jos, kano and so on. Have you heard Yoruba's making trouble with their hosts or you think the Yoruba's are not found elsewhere, ask about the ogbomoso people who are the most travelled peolpe among the Yoruba's, they are everywhere up north from Niger to Adamawa and bauchi. Have you heard anyone having issues with them?

Tell me Is it only the the Ibos that have been wronged in this country? You guys should stop allowing the PDP to use you for their destructive tendencies

There's nothing to learn from greedy and diabolic hypocrites whose pastime include heating up the polity with their malicious lies and perfidy...
You guys have been the one heating up the polity since march 28 when GEJ lost election, the tension btw Yoruba's and igbos have never been this bad just because the Yoruba's decided not to support GEJ for re election, this is the crux of the matter except we want to deceive ourselves. The igbos have labelled the Yoruba's as betrayals just because of that. Despite all entreaties, you guys are finding it difficult to let go and are using every opportunity to disrespect the traditions of our land. Its all politics from the devilish PDP just because they are no longer in power, have you wondered why it is happening in ondo, a PDP state?

What about the Fulani's? when will the obas muster the courage to deal with them or is it because Igbos are respectful of their hosts and would not take laws into their hands?
When the Fulani's were on rampage in ogun, they were dealt with seriously by the agbekoyas if you know them, same thing in Oyo state, the reason for the noise in ondo state is because its a PDP state where the afenifere keeps making noise just because we have a Fulani President that they want his attention and want to spite to console themselves over their loss at the polls, its all politics. The Yourubas continue to defend their land inspire of all the threats, reason boko haram and Fulani herdsmen have not been able to have a foothold in the sw like they do in other regions.

I dare the ibos not to have a restraint and try this rubbish in ijebu land or Ife, they will be the one to cry witch hunt as usual. The ibos are very disrespectful and everyone all over the country knows that

Why I didn't say much on this issue is I don't support igbo population in yorubaland (not Lagos for emphasis) likewise the north but this this thug called Deji very foolish. Why is he dabbling in the running of an ethnic association of a different, culturally unrelated people in Ondo state. is he the governor of the state? What gave him the audacity to tell an independent association under the Nigerian law who should be their Eze? Was he the one that formed the association for them? This is why Tinubu said yoruba obas are useless. The last one battered his wife and was dethroned for this thug. This Deji should be arrested for inciting violence and constituting public nuisance.
If you truly watched the video, you won't say this here, statements like yours is the reason more obas will deal with the Igbo's squarely, have you ever wondered why its only the ibos that gets into trouble like this?
Politics › Re: My Sincerest Apologies To The Oba Of Akure; by Goke7: 6:13pm On Oct 17, 2015
The earlier the ibos get over the loss of GEJ at the polls the better for them cos since the last elections the ibos have been allowing their emotions run riot all over Yoruba land. The Yoruba's in Lagos are still liberal compare to the Yoruba's outside Lagos. If they are in doubt, they should try out their skills in Ife or ijebu land.

Its time for the ibos to move on, 2019 is not too far away, they can start restrategising now to get better. If the likes of papa Clark the ijaw nation and even NOI have moved on, why can't the ibos for Christ sake.

The day we all call a spade, "a spade", certainly Nigeria will be great. For now, we all must continue suffering for our lack of patriotism. I am of the opinion that PMB is aware of all these issues but refuses to dabble into them...for him, he has done is part...nominating the person who joined to bankroll his campaigns. However, he has equally exposed the person to the litmus test of Nigerians and its laws...

I say this because under PDP, the event may have played out differently...

But, why should we always fight for those who have moral burdens?...then again, Politics will be used as a reason.
Why don't we make politicians scared of milking us dry?... Political reasons again.

I am afraid that it'll take Armageddon of a kind for Nigeria of our dream to become a reality. For whether, Amaechi becomes a minister or not, most of us will prolly still remain in our "state"... APC is not so different from PDP wrt its content, only that its leader has decided to do things differently and we should be praying he continue in that way. Attacking each other without reasonable but emotional arguments only makes us what we are up till now...Losers. Because, at the end, what tangible thing that is not our right have we gained from these peoplehuh
Brilliant post, truly we are all losers at the end of the day

It looks like Kachikwu has now become something pdp can begin to hold on to as its success even when they are no longer in power, first it was Metuh saying that pdp first discovered kachikwu, metuh never told us pdp discover Diezani anyway.

Anyway let no man complain if kachikwu is sacked or asked to go cos the way kachikwu is made to look like a pdp member these days may not be in his favour. I think Diezani should be speaking more in london than in Nigeria presently, after all she was the one who packed her load and moved to London all by herself abi was anybody pursuing her before?
Politics › Re: OPINION: Today's Yoruba Youths Are Too Lazy, Egoistic -adeyemi Adeleye by Goke7: 3:06pm On Oct 16, 2015
Yoruba's are not lazy as this article suggests, what is happening is this:

Yoruba's no longer have forward thinking and visionary political leaders any longer, secondly the top management corporate yoruba guys and entrepreneurs aslo share in the blame, let me explain.

When an Igbo or niger delta guy assumes managerial position in any firm in lagos, he sees it as an opportunity to begin to mentor and bring in his fellow guys or younger brothers from his village into the company via influencing or recommendation during recruitment and before you know it graduates from schools like enbonyi state uni anambra state uni, imsu and so on are already getting jobs in Lagos before their Yoruba counterparts from LASU or UNILAG. Pls check any company in Lagos where you have Igbo guys as top management staff to confirm this, ditto for the Igbo entrepreneurs or agents at the ports, they have a way of bringing in their kinsmen into Lagos to set them up for business purposes. Meanwhile our Yoruba mds and entrepreneurs do not help their kinsmen like their Igbo fellows, let's not deceive ourselves Nigeria is all about who you know, forget about qualifications, the opportunities available are far more than those who are in need so its man know man basis. You have a situation where an entire youruba family will be begging a top youruba guy to help his kinsmen all to no avail. This is where the gap is.

Our politicians esp the governors are only interested in individuals or firms bringing or investing their monies into the states without thinking about empowering their citizens, they are only interested in collecting revenues, taxes to increase IGR. This gives undue advantage to outsiders who when they set up industries in their States bring in their own people to employ. They do not have intentional or deliberate agreements with investors to empower their own people. This is where Yoruba governors are missing it leaving their citizens at the mercy of outsiders, even industries owned by yorubas are not regulated enough to ensure local content.

Until the issues above are addressed, am sorry the sw future looks bleak as it is no longer the case where its only guys from the sw are going to school

Ghandi12:
My advice to the youth with foresight.
These people failed , not essentially, because all of them are innately evil ; but because the system they found themselves only gave a limited space for uprightness.

Many on this black list are just pawns and unlucky to get entangled while many are natural-born looters.

Presently, the system is being redirected to discourage all forms of social vices. Youth should start acting honestly and uprightly at all time. Every adolescent knows good from bad. Standing and identifying with good always is the way to go in this new era of our national evolution.
21 gun salute for you sir, but sadly most of our youths still want the era of lawlessness to continue hence the stiff opposition against the present Government. This is because most of them never saw or witness the Nigeria where buyers buy heir goods and place the money on the table of the seller when the seller is not around and comes around to see his or her money intact on his table.

It will really take a miracle for our present youth to uphold integrity with the way the looters are currently being celebrated

What a FAN!cheesy

Those who are trying to make GEJites cum PDP supporters appear hypocritical for approving the emergence of a northernern candidate need to understand that the reason most people didn't give their support to President Bubu and so him as a man with an islamization agenda isn't so much about his region than it is about his perceived religious fanaticism, especially going by the highly inflammatory and incitive statements which were attributed to him during the pre-2015 era. Not to mention his rather apparent disinterest in National affairs prior to this time, and his unwillingness to exhibit acts of statesmanship especially in the case of Boko Haram.

That President Buhari just obtained his National ID Card a few days back begs a lot of questions and tell us a lot to the discerning mind.
This is one of the reasons you guys look so silly, what if your candidate too in 2019 is touted as a man with islamization agenda, you guys will still convince us that its a lie abi? Honestly GEJ will regret having you guys as his supporters, hope you will carry mama peace along to the north to convince the so called born throwaway children according to the great mama peace.
Politics › Re: PDP Officially Zones Presidency To North by Goke7: 10:41am On Oct 16, 2015
This just shows that pdp can never be an effective opposition party, they are just too used to be the ruling party hence the reason they cannot even easily fund a befitting banner without errors.

But should i say that an opposition party never expose its tactics too early for an election still four years away, it will make the ruling party aware on time to thwart their plan. Pdp has just put the APC on notice which will make the APC start their plan ahead in order not to give in easily in 2019. zoning the presidency to the north cannot guarantee election success, do pdp think that with this, apc will bring their candidate from bayelsa to compete. I laugh in spanish

I wonder why abaiti is shocked and surprised, I once said on this forum how someone in my office from the Niger delta describe ijaw guys, he told me that an ijaw man will praise you to high heavens when you are in office or power but immediately you leave power or office, he quickly turns around to call you a foolish man. I thought he was saying rubbish until when ex militants started to deny Jonathan and when finally papa clark dropped his bombshell.

Am surprised that abati despite his close interactions with ijaw guys when he was in aso rock never knew this. Politics › Re: Amaechi Splits Senate Panel by Goke7: 8:51am On Oct 16, 2015
all these petitions against ministerial nominees make me laugh as if its a governorship election especially when you hear things like the people of rivers or sokoto does not want this appointment or whatever.

The President is the one who determines who becomes minister by appointing them, the senate is just to confirm and be sure the person is qualified. If Amaechi stole rivers money, then is he becoming governor of rivers again? The rivers guys should simply try to recover their money and properties from amaechi just like they recovered properties from some of their former commissioners. Some of the current governors in other states have been doing so quietly.

I think they just want a compromise from the Governorship tribunal so they don't loose in both ways, reason for all these noise. I blame the APC and PMB a bit for all these, Amaechi should have been settled and given an appointment long before now, wike and his thugs should have been ignored long before now. PDP was never this generous and tolerant. APC shouldn't be allowing itself to be cheaply blackmailed all in trying be so democratic and allowing the opposition gets too strong. This was the same mistake GEJ made even though he too was not this generous to confirm Obanikoro as minister despite the petitions against Obanikoro.
