Caught in a fit of disappointment and confusion, many of these young people turn to atheism. Are we not all surprised at the rising number of atheists in Nigeria? A thread was opened the other day where the OP, an atheist, was asking how others were "converted" to atheism. The few comments I read all said they became atheists as they reacted negatively to their disillusion to church doctrines and practices.

Hypocrisy in its finest form... when you and your team go around insulting ministries, pastors, body of Christ etc because you have to tell the 'truth', you never thought of the chain reaction? Now you heaping the blame on ministries rather than the bitter fellows like you who go around rubbishing the body of Christ.

However, any Christian who reverts to atheism for whatever reason would in no way escape judgement of God, better call your gang of atheist who back you up in threads against your fdllow Christians, those who insult God but you lot did not see anything wrong in their atheism, nor belief, so far they supported your stand. Weirdly enough, you championed calling pastors thieves and crooks and churches you called them business centers, now you are here flying the flag of a saint. Shameless

I smiled and answered "large number of those who go out for soul winning are young people mostly below 40 largely between 18 and 30, they meet folks their age bracket and get them won to Christ, disciple them and get them established, and this is possible because Pastor Chris and church pastors emphasises on soul winning almost everyday. And for beautiful and handsome people, it's the Word o, you can't make Word confessions daily and don't look beautiful and handsome, the anointing makes everything it meets beautiful and attractive. Now, quit hating....the number of first timers in my church is staggering even in the midst of lies in the media, it goes to show ths holy Spirit does the work, not our power... I went out yesterday to invite folks for our global service with pastor chris this sunday ( you're invited too), and I went to the young ones, broken humanity, girls with heavy promiscuity, smokers, gamblers ...all below 23... and they were glad I came, they called me "Pastor Chris brother" "fine Pastor" (I'm not a pastor though, but imagine going soul winning in suit..who would not take you serious? ) ...and they said they wanted to stop their lifestyles, but can't. I said they would.

Fast forward in 2 year's time, these ones would be cleaned up, spirit filled, tongue talking and heavy givers.... and you will still come here and complain and whine and moan... where the hell where you when we were on the streets turning these people to righteousness and changing their lives? Right, u were hold that your phone, typing out 'the true gospel' on your blog and nairaland, calling pastors thieves and churches names...spreading your bitterness for those who'd be weak enough to assimilate

My offer still remains to all Christ Embassy people, when you learn the truth by yourself, in the quietness if your room and heart, and begin to see questions that cannot be answered, pls do not turn to atheism. Our opening verse doesn’t just tell us not to conform to this world, it also informs us on what to do to stand out and live the life of righteousness. It says, “…be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” It’s talking about a metamorphosis, a transfiguration or change from glory to glory. This change happens by the renewing of your mind.

This means it’s really up to you to change your state, to move from your present glory, to yet another level of glory and excellence. Perhaps you’ve had fears in your life, now with the Word of God you can reprogramme your mind against fear. Maybe you used to be pointlessly talkative, that also can change.

The Lord isn’t saying, “Try to change,” because He knows that won’t work; rather, He lets you know how the necessary change can come about: it’s by the renewing of your mind. The renewing of your mind will alter your personality. If you wanted to become a bold person, it wouldn’t happen by saying, “Okay, from today, I’m bold”; no. First, be conscious that you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The consciousness of your righteousness in Christ will transform you into a bold and courageous person.

If you’ve been experiencing failures and difficulties, you can transform into a man or woman of success by changing your way of thinking. Receive and process new information from God’s Word that’ll reprogramme your spirit for success and position

Everyone born into the world is born with the natural human life. Man, however, is a spirit being and needs the supernatural life to function to his full potentials. That’s the reason Jesus came to give us another kind of life—the God-kind of life. Anyone that has received Jesus as Lord has this life (1 John 5:11). The Apostle John, emphasizing this, declared, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” (1 John 5:13).

God wants you to have the consciousness of the divine life in you. He wants you to be aware that because of this divine life working in every fibre of your being, no one, and nothing, can destroy you. Ephesians 2:1 says, “And you [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins” (AMP). Think about that: you were dead, but now you’re alive in Christ. Can you see why you’re indestructible and invincible? Life works in you. This is the right mindset for the believer in Christ; the Lord Jesus Christ came to this world, died in your place, and was raised from the dead to give you a new life that’s not susceptible to defeat, failure or death.

You should therefore live happy, joyful and in glory, victory, righteousness, dominion, and excellence. Live the triumphant life for which the Lord Jesus died. He didn’t die for nothing; He died for you to enjoy the benefits of the new life He’s given you. Therefore, refuse to be defeated or mesmerized by Satan; refuse to let sickness ravage your body! Say no to poverty and lack. Everyday, be conscious that divinity is at work in you! Glory to God!
