You can plan weekend getaways,long vacations,theres loads of things you can do and trust me kids are understanding,even the very little ones. You dont need to take them to boarding at all because whether you like it or not,those are the people who will spice up your relationship when it looks like things are boring.You will definitely need them around.

i will send my kids to boarding school but maybe not from primary school.

it teaches them to be independent and it wld also give me and my husband a lot of alone time.

bonding wit kids cn alwys be done. der r kids dt went to day schools and are not as close with their parents as the ones that went to boarding schools.
its about the times u spend.not how long but how well. i went to a boarding school and am closer 2 my mum than my sis dt went to a day school.

OP 4yrs older is not considered an "older" guy. i have hrd(dont really remember where) that women mature faster than men. a woman of 23 is more ready to settle down than a guy of d same age.
