If anything, Benin is getting more attention than it deserves by revisionist novel history by propaganda. The only time historians relate to Benin is in comparison with their Yoruba imposition of Oba on Ogiso and the Ogiamen. No one belongs to Benin royal House without Yoruba names. All these commoners that carry Oba bags are noise makers. Ashipa, a Yoruba warrior that fought Benin night marauders to a standstill, was the compromised first king of Lagos given a piece of land as Iga in Lagos. How a house becomes a state of Lagos can not be surprising in a country where a snake swallowed an elephant abi na billion naira sef. |
These children of Ogiamen anger nor dey res, no wonder Oranmiyan call am Ile-Ibinu. Every month, they come out with a new history trying to wear their Yoruba progenitors out. They have repeated these lies so many times since 2000, they are now believing their own lies. Ekhalederan of Bini ko Ekhalederan of Ughoton ni! |
However, as corporations introduce automation, computers and contracted low skilled jobs easily performed by anyone, anywhere in the emerging markets; it gave rise to revolt by angry autoworkers, coal miners etc. that lost their jobs. Higher education and highly skill services are no longer in the exclusive domain of highly developed countries. China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa now have highly educated and skilled folks in and out of their country.See full article https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/263671/some-silver-lining-opportunities-for-african-optimism.html# Some Silver Lining Opportunities For African Optimism This is not the time to give up hope of revival. Look at many youths’ skepticism of supernatural and religion used to keep us down to accept subjugation, there are some reasons for optimism. Africans have long been victims, though waking up. Arabs lost it all. If you look at Anglo-Saxons and Arabs: greed, plutocracy, racism and religion divided them into selfish tribes in possession of weapon of mass destruction and lethal arms to negotiate and retain power in disguise. As Britain and America break out of free, equal and FAIR trade, Africa has opportunity to move up as expected since Independence. If Africans work at home as hard as they do outside, they would be richer and Africa could have moved from potential rich resources to exploration, exploitation and control of those resources to make themselves richer. Brexit signs spreading to U.S is capitulation. Africa must follow China in filling the void, it must not get worse for us. Brexit and America-first have to ask themselves if they can prosper without their leading multi-international corporations making profits from foreign countries. What most of their citizens do not understand, asking Bill Gates is: why more of his charities are in foreign countries? If British and American Churches, charities and non-governmental institutions do not show angelic faces outside, hostilities and resistance would make their foreign profits too odious and repulsive. The countries making and selling arms or bombs to poor countries, send Red Cross or charities. Longing for the days to bring back white superiority and privilege for a tribe is like Britain trying to retain its original black skin again . Inward looking and self-defeating uneducated minority of voters’ economic interest have been used to bully the majority in a country where most of its inventions, trade and services are propelled by immigrants, sons and daughters of immigrants. Indira Gandhi repeatedly told western countries that she did not care about foreign aid as she did more about equal access to free and fair trade of the rich countries’ club. When expensive western goods and services were sold to third world and emerging markets, their workers were making jumbo wages while emerging markets paid workers starving wages to buy overrated and expensive finished products made from the same raw material Africans arduously supply. China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa now have highly educated and skilled folks in and out of their country. No matter where you are, even in the most developed country, if you do not have the skill, you cannot retain good paying jobs. Your nationality does not determine your remuneration. Those politicians promising you the good old days when high school or less could get you well-paying jobs are only after your votes because they know you are not well informed enough to realize your skills belonged to the past centuries. So, they claimed they love the “uneducated”! Since more Africans started using their skills to shape their future instead of selling out to their colonial masters’ economic whims and caprices, the trade game is changing. There is no way to disguise racism of trying to make Anglo-Saxon dominant again backed by nuclear force; as Asia, Middle East and others have developed their own nuclear capabilities. South Africa gave up its own to weaken hands of those dreaded in negotiating trade. Libya gave it up and got whapped. Rejection and sub-human treatment Africans encounter abroad is an eye-opener for those that have lied to us that European and American streets are paved with gold, flowing with milk and honey. While it has not deter some of taking the risk, no matter what, reasonable African youth have hesitated and given traveling out without documentation, second thoughts. Many more than those venturing out prefer their own countries. No need to die trying to live a poorer life. The paradox is while many parts of Africa have not move educationally, there are more school graduates now than ever. However, they have not turned what they learnt into practice out of laboratories into field studies. While many have come out with discoveries, refused to publish them for the rest of the world to verify. Believe it or not, these discoveries are kept within the families like the olden days. Our socioeconomic studies must emulate China to propel us into world stage. The dictates of Bond and Wall streets still dominate our financial services. Poor Arabs. They are so divided, foreign arms control their land right now: Turkey, Iran, Israel, Russia and United States. These are the proxy wars going on within Syria worse than Congo or Sierra Leone . Saudi Arabia would rather burn the whole area than find solution within. They are so divided not only within a single religion as Muslims but by sectarian conflicts and supremacy. Indeed, some of their leaders are wondering why they are not as united as the Africans! What, Africans united? Recently, the new power-house, Arabia in waiting has shaken up the elites by detaining them and forcing those suspected to have accumulated money illegally or dealing in money laundering to negotiate their release. “Civilized” Nigerians wondering why they are not employing our tactics. Nigerians use the rule of law and due process to embezzle money, na! Brexit by Britain may be an expression of self-determination by the Anglo-Saxon tribe opposed by other part of United Kingdom. In actual fact, it is nothing short of abdication of responsibility based on their fear of foreigners. This is a fear spreading not only in Europe but had been in place in Japan and China. They all want to keep migrants out of their countries especially Arab religious fanatics and Africans. Yet, their population is growing old begging for young migrants. Racism – xenophobia has spread not only in Europe, but in South Africa against fellow Africans. The case of Europe as any other is self-defeating. The more they limit trading with outsiders, the more they lose because they have never negotiated any trade agreement with Africans and Arabs without getting the upper hand. They dictate world financial rules at a disadvantage and at the expense of Africa and Arab countries. If Africans cry with eyes open, what about Arab? The most powerful trading block they ever formed, is the European Union. Breaking that Union works to the disadvantage of Britain as all economic indicators demonstrated. But their fear of foreigners, even fellow Europeans has forced them into a cocoon where they cannot flourish. In the process, they can no longer dictate the pace and game of world trade. The way Nigerians explain our helplessness is to blame Fulani juju on us. |
NothingDoMe:You are right. But which fear is worse? Fight for power at home or getting killed outside |
This is not a big deal. If anything it is helpful and educational. Nigerians are ready to study any language to get into universities abroad. Why are you willing abroad to acquire skills but reluctant at home? This is even better for Lagosians and their kids that cannot speak straight Yoruba. Even Nigerian Govt have been advised many years ago to implement local languages. Many Eastern states and universities did. Lagos came late but better than never. Only hypocrites and those with colo-mentality oppose this. |
Obasanjo was bold enough to call on Buhari. IBB Maradona, a coward dribbles. Waiting for Danjuma. |
Buhari, when you are called three times, you must take the call otherwise you are roasted. How many times are the victims of Fulani atrocities going to call you? Abi you chop craze inside tuwo? |

Myths, tory and fabu in the Bible, Koran and Ifa have to be interpreted intelligently and backed up by science. How people can believe the fabu in the Bible and Koran and make fun of their own story is a classical case of inferiority complex. Because they have a white skin or because they later wrote down stories passed down from one generation to the next before St. Peter, St James version or other disciples of Jesus wrote it down does not necessarily make it a fact or truer than your own. Anyway, Ile-Ife is closer to the origin of man in Sudan that Mesopotamia or Nazareth. |
Can anyone confirm if that is the daughter of Bala Usman that heads Lagos Nigeria Ports Authority, MD Hadiza Bala Usman. Her father started it Prof. Umar Labdo Muhammad of the Faculty of Humanities, Northwest University wrote: Benue belongs to Fulani by right of conquest. He challenged or threatened political, cultural traditional and religious Fulani leaders who eat fat off Fulani to rise to the false claims of those before him. Saying he is just an Arabic scholar, underestimate his threat. He could well be Chinese, German or Russian scholar. Just before Jonathan was elected, Adamu Ciroma and Co. said they would make Nigeria ungovernable. They were not arrested, cautioned or condemned. |
BUHARI BUHARI BUHARI FULANI HERDSMEN ARE COMING AFTER YOU Buhari! How many times did I call you? In case you do not remember how Boko Haram came after you in Kaduna; there was a President called Jonathan. He allowed Boko Haram to creep up on him like Fulani herdsmen, while his co-looters shared the money meant for military gear against the menace of Boko Haram. Fulani herdsmen are creeping all over you. No monopoly on violence, when used it to grab others’ land, gain economic hierarchy and political advantage. Action is needed now, not excuses or toothless panels! We need strong and decisive message to Fulani herdsmen that the days of religious hide and seek are gone. As you said: You can’t kill to please God; and I know no religion tolerates the taking of another person’s life in the name of a religious movement. You have come a long way from a religious fanatic some people claimed you were to the realization that it is impunity, power and land grab in disguise. If Boko Haram can go after you, Fulani herdsmen threat can. Northern region need forestation to check desert encroachment. Our politicians go to Niger Republic, which is further North than Nigeria, to import grass but cannot cultivate grass and deliver water for forestation in the North. An investment that prevents confrontation between Fulani herdsmen and those trying to defend themselves as Police or Army would not; but readily when Fulani herdsmen suffer. Prof. Audu Ogbe, your Minister of Agriculture who came from that region. Gowon and Danjuma are now seen as silent traitors. The Fulani herdsmen believe nobody owns the land but God. It is only true in the Southern Nigeria or Benue, but nobody contest Northwest and Northeast land with them. Audu claimed Nigeria cattle only eat special type of grass like oyinbo grass. Haba malam, here we go again. Nigeria do not like cassava bread so that wheat must be imported. Remember that was how Bala Usman also claimed the right of conquest of Niger Delta oil since it ceased to belong to its owners after it was taken over by the British conquerors; who then handed it over to Nigerian State at Independence. This line of thought was followed by Farouk Adamu Aliyu, a former Minority leader in the House of Representatives that Niger Deltans must stop laying claims to oil found on their land as it was washed down as minerals from the North. Buhari, watch out for the threat made by Prof. Umar Labdo Muhammad. When Boko Haram started, they were destroying and killing Christians, Southerners, Churches and later their sympathizers. It got to a point when you claimed the fight against Boko Haram was destroying only the North. They had even suggested you as their negotiator at one point. They graduated to killing Muslims and destroying Mosques. As Boko Haram grew wings and became monsters, they destroyed almost everything on their path including the very people that harbored them. Those that encouraged and funded them became their enemies and targeted for destruction. Fast forward, we pray, hoping that Fulani herdsmen will not become your albatross. You have enough opponents praying for your downfall and blaming those that voted for you on a daily basis. You must realize that if Jonathan was that good as a President, you would have been nowhere close to the position you have right now. The reason you were elected was because Jonathan failed the Country. We expect you to succeed against corruption and any violence. Buhari, Buhari, Buhari: how many times did I call you? Do not disappoint Nigerians. Most of the people that voted for you know your weakness but they were convinced that given another opportunity, you would do better. Indeed, most of those people had prayed for your recovery and still support you. So far you have tackled Boko Haram better than your predecessor and the Country came out of economic recession, despite the fact that economy is not your expertise. However, you have been proven right when you asked them to show you whom devaluation has helped (epp). It was surprising that even Okonjo Eweala is now dancing to your tune that former President was weak and was easily controlled by the governors. Do not depend on your praise singers because they will say worse things when you leave power. You still have a great deal to do on the economy and now new threat from Fulani herdsmen. Their Atiku is no match. If Fulani herdsmen have their way, not only would they disrupt the economy, they will paralyze the whole Country while you treat them with baby cloves. They need to be handled with iron hand because, as the Northcentral and the South suspected, they are on a Jihad mission. Some Northerners see themselves as Fulani but Fulani know themselves and they see you as products of Hausa. Most of you have more Hausa blood in you than Fulani. But that is a different matter. The point here is that Fulani herdsmen are coming the same way Usman DanFodio had usurped Yunfa of Gobir, sacked the Hausa State leaders and replace them with Fulani. Realize they only use you as Fulani, they do not see you as one. Hausa can’t smell power in the North unless you claim some bloodline to Fulani. Africans have to be divided before those that came to conquer us can succeed. They use us against one another. If foreign gods abandoned us, we have ours. How did cattle rearers make profit from selling beef and milk to buy sophisticated weapon like AK-41? They are being funded and supported by Boko Haram funders. They have a different mission to sneak up on land that does not belong to them, as Usman Bala and Umar Labdo said. If grass is what they are looking for, it can be provided right where they are; on ranches. Do grass have to be imported to be grown only in the Southern ranch? If local and Federal government are willing to subsidize Fulani herdsmen, we must also be willing to subsidize local pygmy cattle reared in the East and pigs reared in the West. All areas North and South must be encouraged with ranches to increase our beef and pork production, not only for our local consumption but for export. Nigeria will become the food basket again! There is nothing wrong with praising one another. I am glad the writer is not Igbo. He just admired how Igbo women are willing to marry down, only if it is Igbo men. Did you read the whole article? naijacentric:He wrote exactly the same thing about Hausa women. Most Hausa ladies are still modest and influenced by families than their sisters from other ethnic group. But hurry up, not for long.Madam, I agree with you. This writer may be be in love with Efik lady that got him in cloud 9. Amarabae: |
I just wonder why some people just read headlines and come to conclusions without reading. There is praise for every woman here without putting any ethnic down. If anything the only ethnic that came on top are Efik women. Next time read and understand. If all the stories are true, Efik or Calabar ladies have been judged the best in Nigeria. It could be the best stew no other ethnic group or country can compete with. It is called edikang ikong. Any human that has never tasted it, must do so before they die. It will be an exaggeration to say that alone can make a woman, Calabar ladies know ways to men’s heart and care for them. Money surely play a part in keeping the best woman but the woman makes a good family. What is wrong with praising and flattering one another anyway, is it not better than constant bashing? Op thanks for a change. |

So Kemi Olulonyo is still in prison going into 2018 on the order of men of God and their believers. If we throw every nuisance in Nigeria into prison on the order of a court for transgressions against men that wrap themselves in cloak of God, how many people will be left on the street full of mental patients? Just pray that none of these fake pastors and imams become President. |
If only all the pity and condemnation can turn to money for the lady. I fear young pompous men, some watch Igwe, Emir and Oba bow to them begging. |
Those of us that have made this mistake never found another lady that would love us as much. No matter what, you are going to leave her and regret it for the rest of your life. The funny part is she may not be as satisfied with her new man always thinking about you. Some girl you love dearly will rubbish back. No be curse o. You brought it upon yourself. Man or woman cannot understand why a person would love them so much. Ever wonder why a loser got the best one in town? |
This is how they moved from looting local government to local and national institutions |
Innocent Chukwuma, the founder and CEO of Innoson Motors, on Tuesday accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and GTBank of conspiring with some unnamed foreign entities to drive Nigeria’s only indigenous auto manufacturing company out of business. “We have it now on good authority that there is a grand conspiracy by some international competitors of Innoson Vehicles who have conspired with a financial institution to pull down Innoson Vehicles at all cost,” Mr. Chukwuma said in a statement to PREMIUM TIMES signed by Cornel Osigwe, head of corporate communications at Innoson. The company linked the alleged conspiracy to “the latest increase of patronage of Innoson Vehicles by the Federal Government.” Mr. Osigwe attributed the improved sales to a recent upsurge in orders placed by the Nigerian military, the Federal Road Safety Corps, the Nigerian Immigration Service, amongst other federal authorities. The allegation could further complicate the worsening tension between Innoson and GTBank. Mr. Chukwuma was arrested by the EFCC in the morning of December 19 at his residence in Enugu, accusing him of attempted fraud, theft and forgery. The allegations were reported by GTBank, which said Mr. Chukwuma forged bank and shipping documents to clear some goods a few years ago. Innoson denied all allegations of wrongdoing, filing a counter-claim that the bank charged some arbitrary deductions to his company accounts. Although the initial claim that was allegedly deducted from Innoson Group’s accounts was about N500 million, the amount has since shot up to more than N8 billion naira today, the automaker said. The company said it received several judgements in its favour at several federal courts, including at least two Court of Appeal judgements. It alleged that the EFCC was instigated against it by GTBank, which is allegedly desperate to avoid paying the over N8 billion damages. “We are alarmed at how low EFCC could descend to be used by GTB to destroy Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneur,” Mr. Osigwe added in his latest statement. The EFCC declined comments on the allegations Tuesday afternoon. “We don’t want to join issues with them,” said Wilson Uwujaren, the agency’s spokesperson. EFCC, GTBank colluding with foreign automakers to kill Innoson Motors — Innocent Chukwuma The GTBank said it reported Mr. Chukwuma and his brother, Charles, to the EFCC after it uncovered traces of sharp practices they allegedly perpetrated. The bank vowed to continue reporting economic crimes to law enforcement authorities whenever they’re detected. A spokesperson for the bank equally declined to further join issues with Innoson, saying the act contravenes its standards as an ethical organisation, especially since the matter had been taken to court. Mr. Osigwe said Innoson has proof to back its claim of tripartite conspiracy against it but did not immediately make them available to PREMIUM TIMES Tuesday. Innoson was established in 2010, and has produced up to 11,000 vehicles to date, the official said. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/253694-efcc-gtbank-colluding-foreign-automakers-kill-innoson-motors-innocent-chukwuma.html |
No matter how you slice, mix or embellish it, Hausa became Fulani slave up to today. Any Hausa that cannot trace his history to Fulani is nobody politically or religiously in the North. Dan Fodio sacked the Hausa states and replaced them with his more radical form of Islam. Maguzawa have their religious beliefs just like Muslims and Christians. What and how they practice their religion is nobody's business. If they become Christians or Muslims is their choice. There are Hausa Christians. JikanBaura: JikanBaura: |
