You have said many times that Jesus is not GOD. You even went further to add "PERIOD" to your statement. That seems to go a long way to say, that is FINAL. I am kind of confused on your position. On one hand, you say something and on the other hand, you deny what you say. Kindly respond to my post up there. I do not think I can hold my peace any more while you go on attacking the deity of Christ because the deity of Christ is the hope of our believe and this is where we (Christians and Christianity) is different from other religion. To attack the deity of Christ is to demote Christ to mere or ordinary man. I await your response to my post above and I will respond according.

Enigma: No matter what the "anti-Trinitarians" say {and we know the spirit behind their "fight"}, the following truths taught in the Bible have never, can never and will never be "debunked".

1. God is ONE
2. God The Father is God
3. God The Son is God; and
4. God The Holy Spirit is God.

This Trinity has generated much heat recently. Many verses refutes the unitarians in the scripture. My only issue is against those who deny the deity of Christ as God, not the Father though and who deny the Holy Spirit as God and being distinct from the Father and the Son but rather say, the Holy Spirit is a Force or Power or whatever they call the Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul believed in "Trinity" even THOUGH THE WORD "Trinity" wasn't used by him. Apostle Paul who wrote most of the epistle that we quote and minister from says "the Father is God",

To the OP question, "Is The Trinity Foundational To Our Faith?". The simple answer is YES! However, it doesn't mean those who dont believe in Trinity are loved less by our heavenly Father. Many people refused to accept Holy Spirit as God because they did not see where it written in Bible that he is God.Some says Holy Spirit is power of God. I want us to know that there are mysteries about the Holy Spirit. If we remember, it came upon Jesus as dove, he decended on disciples as tongues of fire, that shows it can come in any form.

God the father is only one God that has supreme power over the earth and heaven. I have shown Ijawkid and truthislight where the Bible calls the Holy Spirit God but they discarded the scripture that they don't agree with it. It was strange to me anyway but they are my good brothers, lolz. Truthislight and Frosbel, (I don't know and am not sure the position of Ijawkid); believes the Holy Spirit is a force or power. This is totally strange to the scripture. A force doesn't speak, doesn't have mind etc but the bible makes it clear that the Holy Spirit is NOT a force or power but a being that speak etc. Let every man sit to study the bible with all humility and open mind to be taught by the Holy Spirit.

I can understand. I think I agree with you on the above highlight. I will follow after. That word is NEVER in the bible, why use or introduce it to explain the concept of God. We can find a word that appears in the bible like "Godhead" etc rather than "Trinity" but we should NOT also discard the bible truth of the Father being called God, Jesus being called God and the Holy Spirit being called God just because the word "Trinity" is used to explain the concept of God. This is the crusade we should engage ourselves.

I salute o. I have said it in the past. The way some of our brethren teach this Trinity stuf makes everything so confusing. It is very clear from the scripture that Jesus even though the bible under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit called him God, He (Jesus) is not the Father. However, it doesn't mean we should deny the Deity of Christ. He is the God, not the Father that was manifest in the flesh, preached unto all.

Hence I decided not to get involve in all this debate going in circle. I have told you in the past, Trinity or no Trinity, we remain one in Christ. If the bible calls the Father, God; Jesus Christ, God and the Holy Spirit, God; why should it bother us? I take the bible as God's word and stand by that. If it is because of the word "Trinity" that is not found in the bible that you guys try to fight it, then that is your choice. I can't hold it against you. As we go further in our discourse on the Gospel of Genesis chapter one. I'll still like to remind you/us from our previous teachings that what began in Genesis was completed in Christ. How? If ANY man be in Christ, he is a new creature/creation. Today, I will teach on the highlighted from the above three verses.

And God said. What in the world is God doing and what is the message of the Gospel here? There is a condition in which the earth as we know at this time lies. The earth at this time was formless, void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. The act of God therein is the act of faith in action by His word. Words mixed and spoken in faith is a transforming virtue to the new creatures in Christ. Listen to how Jesus puts it,

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23 Kjv

Doubt and unbelief in the heart is a faith killer and poison to the "seeing" of whatever the new creature "says". The Bible says, what God said....God saw. How? It is by the force of faith - Hebrews 11:3. How does faith come or how do we get faith? It comes by the word of God and by the Spirit of God - Romans 10:17; 1 Corinthians 12:9. What God said is not void of faith. They are not empty words. The words didn't return void but accomplished its purpose because they were faith-filled words. Also, we understand from the word of God that faith without works is dead. Do you desire anything from God, speak to God in prayer of faith and take a step of faith, it shall answer for you. All you need is faith like a mustard seed, for all things are possible to him that believes. Speak your heart to God in prayer of faith, and within the time of life, there shall be a manifestation to the Glory of God.

God divided the light from the darkness. The word "divided" here in KJV literally translate or mean "separate or to separate". This one of the fundamentals of the Gospel teachings. As God did separate darkness from light means darkness and light should not and cannot co-exist. As we become a new creature in Christ after being brought out of darkness into the marvellous light, God expects us to stay and remain in the light and never to mingle with all sort of unfruitful works of darkness. Listen to the Apostle wrote,

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 Kjv

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2 Corinthians 6:17

It saddens the heart of our God when those that had seen the light still live their lives as those still in darkness. New creatures don't live old lives. In this new kingdom, lives are lived differently and the kingdom lifestyle is different and separated unto God. After ANY man be in Christ and such is a new creature, God desires that you live according to the light shed in your heart, not according to the old man that used to live in darkness. If you used to steal, steal no more etc - living a life according to light rather than the old man of darkness, your life becomes a living epistle which is read by many and through your light-life, many Gentiles shall be drawn to the light of God. If God did separated the light from darkness, how then shall we (new creature) co-exist our light with darkness? God forbid! Howbeit, the only thing God permits us not to be separated from is the love of Christ. Nothing is suppose to separate of from the love of Christ - Romans 8:35-39.

the evening and the morning were the first day. Finally for today, I'll like to end with the words of encouragement. It was the evening and the morning in the program of God that makes a day and not the other way round. Does it look like you are in the evening now? Does it look like you are going through a dark hour and period of life right now? Listen to the Psalmist,

One thing Obadiah777 and "some" Christians don't understand is, we will always disagree as to some issue of our faith. I don't know Td Jakes by person and have never met him aside watching him on Television. Likewise all others mentioned in the OP's title. I don't agree with them after testing the scriptures on issues like tithe BUT it doesn't mean I hate them. I simply see it as our difference which we must disagree to agree.

One thing is evident. These people (in my own opinion) since they know so much, they will know that this tithe is not for Christians but I "assume" they don't just want to part with it. This is my own opinion though. On the other hand, weather and right or wrong in my assumption, one truth is sure, God had used them and still using them to touch lives in the kingdom and like you said, people like you had learnt a lot from them. Not everything learnt from the institutionalized church is right and not everything is wrong. This is where sitting and spending time with the word is necessary in order to sort and separate the truth from error.

Whatever revelation people claim to have and IF it contradicts the scripture and cannot stand "sound doctrines", it is adviceable to throw them into the trash. When someone claims to have revelation and it contradicts the truth of the NT teachings for Christians, it makes God's word a liar. Besides, why do people think God gave a NT if He only wants us to live by the OT? I think I should open a new thread for us/all to discuss this?

I am interpreting in the light of future event from the book of revelation where the eagles are to fed on the body of those judged as it relates to the context of Matt. 24 while Obadiah777 and others also relate/interpret it to the now where the supposedly shepherds are feeding on the dead folks......either way, I agree it is an open text that can be used in the now as well as what will happen in the future.

Thank you.....noted. It has become a constant attitude displayed by truthislight in his attempt to communicate with others on this session. I am not the only one observing and complaining about him. I have also read his conversation on many thread with others while he displays the same attitude. I had also taken time on some thread to bring him to caution but am sorry, I had to spill it out sometime. Yours is noted anyway. I had thought of ignoring him but I don't want him always get away with his attitude. Thank you anyway.
