(a) According to Genesis 14:11-16. Were the spoils of war have been "holy" tithes in the Law or Would Abraham's tithe have been accepted as a holy tithe to enter the Temple?

(b) If we are to follow Abraham example of tithing, which there is NO record of Abraham tithe 10% of spoils was commanded by God and according to Numbers 31:21-30 what percentage did the statute of the Law for Israel later required or commanded from spoils of war?

(c) According to Deuteronomy 12 and 14:23-26 a festival tithe was to be eaten in the streets, some festival tithes could be turned into alcoholic strong drinks. where/Why is this tithe principle ignored by churches and tithe preachers today?

(d) In the case of Abraham and Melchizedek (priest-king) AND the case of the Law (Levites and Priest). Melchizedek received tithe, NEVER PAID TITHE. Levites and priest recieved tithe BUT NEVER COMMANDED TO PAY TITHE. Rev 1:6 and 1 Peter 2:9 has MADE us kings and priest unto God. How do you explain the priesthood of believers paying/giving tithe when priest-king Melchizedek ONLY Received but NEVER PAID tithe and Levites,Priest ONLY commaned to receive and NEVER COMMANDED to PAY/GIVE TITHE.

(e) From bible verses in (d) above, Why don't tithe teachers teach believers to tithe to themselves since we are NOW kings and priest//levites and priest since only king-priest Melchizedek received but we are now king/priest; and levites/priest commanded to receive and not to pay/give tithe and don't tell us we are to take it to the church because the church replaced the OT temple, this will violate/break the scripture in 1 Cor 3:16; 6:19.

Dude, I don't want us to derail this thread. How do you link darkness in Genesis 1:2 and light of verse 3. How? Dude, you need to do away with what the religious system ever taught you and sit down with the word of God by yourself. I just showed you where God himself said he created the earth initially in dark form (job 38:1,4-9) and you are still telling us the darkness conotes satan. So who is lying, you or God?

Well, well, well. I "think" you are getting me wrong. All scriptures are given for teachings. I also quote from the OT to teach against tithe. You have to look at ALL scriptures that concerns the teaching you are teaching. God is the God of the OT and also that of NT. He had not changed. When someone dies, not all is from the devil. Some are from God and the bible says, The LORD kills and HE makes alive. My point is God is the God of good and bad even though He does not tempt with Evil. He is the God of the mountains and also the God of the valley. He is the God of the good time and also the God of the bad time. He is the God of light, in Him their is no darkness but He is also the God that can create darkness. He is the God that can make alive and can also kill. He is the God who can create one whole and also create another deformed for His glory. He is the God that curses and also the God that blesses.

THE PRIEST NEVER PAID/GIVE TITHES. So If I am a priest and the priest never gave/paid tithe it means i have to receive tithe and NOT PAY tithe.

We understand from context like "kingdom of darkness" that it doesn't mean darkness like NEPA took light. Darkness is literal and figurative. My question you still didn't answer. When/if you can answer my point, then it will lead us into Joe's thread. Where did that darkness in Gen.1:2 came from? That is the first time darkness was mentioned in the bible. Where did it came from? You are the one interpreting it like NEPA took light but that is not what we are told. We are just told..."darkness was upon the face of the deep" and nothing had being created yet. This only first thing we see created was God said, let there be light. So where did that darkness came from before God said let there be light?

Jack65: People I have a similar dilemma on another apparent contradiction concerning John the Baptist and Jesus. Can someone explain to me why a prophet like John who was already preaching about Jesus before his arrival, who actually witnessed the heaven opening and a Dove descending on Jesus's head and HEARING Gods own voice saying "This is my beloved son with whom I am well pleased" who almost refused to baptize him saying its Jesus instead who should baptize him, then turn around just a couple pages later asking Jesus if its he who is the Messiah or if they should be expecting another.

John the Baptist had earlier introduced Christ as One who will bring fierce judgment and chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire (matt 3:12). Some understandable turn of event took place such as, John himself was imprisoned BUT Jesus was carrying on a ministry of healing NOT judgment, in Galilee far from Jerusalem and NOT finding a completely warm reception there (Matt 8:34). Hence, John was asking the question above in your question "should" he had misunderstood Jesus' agenda. It will be wrong for us to interpret this statement or question as wavering of John's faith (Matt 11:7). I hope this answers your question sir.
