AlfaSeltzer:Maybe the one whose mental capability is in order should think more if he's God's creation and had not killed even a fly and judge by the same standard. . Quit disgracing yourself all over the world wide web. |
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,...... ![]() . . . For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. |
vooks:^ ^ ^ Chei, see kweshun naw.... ![]() I don't think that guy you asking that kweshun knows what's hidden in that question, neither does he understand the question completely. But, I'm watching online.....hope he gets it. . Someone will have to see the irony in that kweshun in order to be bold to answer it. Lemme watch and see though. ![]() |

Bidam:And he said a parable unto him saying: There's he that was told everyone smoke during the winter time but he doesn't understand nothing. He actually thinks everyone smoke in the winter time. Then he goes about saying, Goshen smokes. ![]() |
Bidam:This is the most senseless statement I ever heard from you since you're on this forum. .... Boy, keep it up, I'm very proud of you. ![]() |
@ topic, I weep for my generation o. I wish all will come to the knowledge of truth that sets men free. This is just telling me to return and never give up on my\our good fight for the faith. These men, like the one in that video had gone to deep and eaten Christianity so badly. |
birdman:No, Jesus didn't die so you can have a bad marriage. What he's saying is, you can't have a perfect marriage either as there's none. There's always ups and downs so why will charlatans deceive someone to look like you can have a perfect marriage when you will never have one. |
paulGrundy:What are you talking about? |
PastorKun:Egbon mi, I just finished my long enrolled course o o. I really missed but I don land now. What really went wrong? I'm watching some videos but I don't understand still. ![]() |

King James Bible Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34 King James Bible For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 We look at the verses on the OT with the eyes of the NT, in the lens\revelation of the finished works of Christ. A nation is literally a geographical location but people makes a nation. Notice the interchanged words between "nation" and "people" in the opening verse. Believers & Christians are also called holy "nations" also, 1 Peter 2:9. So, we understand a nation is the people. Righteousness that is imputed by faith in the finished works of the Son God is an authoritative gift. Scripture says, "they which receive this gift of righteousness".....shall reign in life, by Jesus. wow! This is the wonders of the Grace of God - that He will declare sinners righteous by faith in the Son God. This is the righteousness that will exalt you as Christians\believers in Christ and cause you to reign in life. Many Christians are seeking to do their own righteousness and neglect the righteousness of God as a gift. Just as no good works could make us good in the eyes of God but good works that is produced out of God's goodness. Our righteousness is like a filthy rag in the eyes of God. The righteousness that God imputes, is the gift of the Father - it causes you to reign in life. Righteousness was also put side-by-side with sin in Proverbs 14:34. Sin have its consequences but many Christians think sin can unfinish the finished works of Christ as regards imputed righteousness. Sin will bring a shame, reproach and disgrace to God's people but it does not take away the gift of God else, scriptures will be broken. Scripture says, the GIFT and calling of God is without repentance and righteousness IS A GIFT OF GOD. Sin is a matter of Slavery and Master. Paul, the great Apostle of faith, dedicated the whole of Romans 6 to unveil the submissiveness to sin in a slavery and master analogy. A Christian who received the gift of righteousness has submitted to the Master of Christ which in turns produce righteous living. We do no longer answer and submit to sin under slavery no more neither should we answer to its call or mastership. Scripture says, you're dead to sin...in Christ, that is, through the body of Christ on the Cross. The cross kills the sinner & sin urges in us just as it killed Christ who knew no sin but became the sinner for our redemptive process. |
TheLight001:Do you really understand what that verse meant? |
I get really hurt inside of me when I see some of those Christ died for trying to condemn themselves because of trousers. We have bunch of confused pastors in the pulpit that teaches trash and have no business being there. They teach we're saved by Grace tell us to live by the law and its regulations. Have you not read in scriptures, the just shall live by faith? Meaning, those who are justified shall live by faith Have you not read in the epistles, Christ died to free you from all relationship and you're divorced or disengaged with the law and its regulations? Is Deut. 22 part of the law and its regulations? Have you not read that WHATSOEVER the law says, it was saying it or speaking to THEM WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW? Have you not read, Do not let no man judge what you wear? Why are we judging ourselves by outward appearances and what we wear? Why are we trying to fulfill what's already fulfilled by Christ? Why are we still following shadows of the law instead of Christ. |

OLAADEGBU:You always making dumb statements. Everyone on this forum knows I'm against WoF teachings. How then am I part of WoF movement? Only in tithe do you agree with WoF movement....that I can testify.... ![]() |
OLAADEGBU:I understand what you are saying. YOU are the one not listening to what I'm saying. It's not a conversation, it's more of you want to hold to what you believe traditionally. Take to understand what I've saying. The concept you're referring to is what I'm saying is missing in the whole picture. We should stop adding to the word of God by our own traditions. |
oyeludef:It's okay. You don't have to agree BUT my advice is, do not take what I said because I said it; even my past and present teachings. I have always said, you should proof and search by yourself anything I say. We know in part and we prophesy in part. |
Bidam:Bidam, sin CONSCIOUSness is not the same as sin CAUTIOUSness. You carry sin CONSCIOUSness when you see sin in most\some things THAT GOD NEVER CALLED\REGARD AS SIN. This is a clear and simple truth in scriptures just because some people had expanded on the laws of God. We can see this all over scriptures. 2. I keep repeating, when we read scriptures like the one you quoted. It's not a stand-alone verse. There's something going on that was being addressed by Paul. We cannot just read into what that word "fornication" meant. We have to understand it before we can flee. Fornication when understood is a dangerous sin and the acts are mentioned. When you know those acts in the sin of fornication, then you will really know why you are told to flee. People can be wrong for centuries and we might have been following religion instead accepting truth of God's word. That's why I often say, tradition of men. Let's be open minded like the Bereans and learn the truth - it doesn't mean we endorse reckless living. God forbid if I do such BUT prayerfully study what was going on in the Corinthian church and see for yourself why such statement was made. Then you will truly understand what fornication is. |
