You people will rather die for. ..because it is Adeboye than die for the truth of God's word. We can't do anything against the truth my dear. Listen, I was almost ordained as deacon because my eyes was opened and I saw some unscriptural practices and I left. I can mention some names to you in rccg and you will be shocked how much I know RCCG.

The truth is, rccg have departed from the truth of the gospel and is now part of the babylon system of the world. This is no condemnation because there's no condemnation for those in Christ but we say the truth when those in Christ make wrong choices.

Listen, I don't just argue without knowing what I'm saying. I'm too big for that. I know RCCG more than you can imagine. I used to be a member but no more.

The question is, If I, like Paul goes to a place to preach and my home church is in Jerusalem and I collect donation from where I am preaching to give to my home church, Jerusalem.

Does that = to that church where I'm preaching remitting their revenues to me or to Jerusalem?

How does I collect donation from a church in need translate into a church remitting hee revenue to the HQ church? In today's world, we can say, Paul didn't establish branches and tell them to remit revenues to Apostle Paul HQ International. ... grin

No, it translates that in this era of God grace, you can't claim to do something to move God neither can you attribute works to what is already done.

Do you notice the difference between Christ and Moses in that verse? E don tay wey I give you like but I give you that one. .. grin

Christ is the grace of God manifested. Moses = Given, Christ=Came. If I reside somewhere, I can send you something as gifts without showing up myself. But when I come and bring you a gift, it speaks of gift + relationship.

If Jesus had to do miracle for the jews to believe, then infact all the jews wanted was just wants and pleasure, thus inthe kingdom of GOD, that is what they would only pursue "wants and pleasure" through miracle, GOD does not have time to waste.

That's how the Jews was then but blessed are those who believe without miracles.

Sir, first, the new testament doesn't establish the gift of prophet as the old testament. That is, a prophet in the new testament is not one who predict an event but one who interprets the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching. The reason, I believe is that, the old testament already predicted the new testament and such, the prophet of the new will have to interprets the divine will and purpose that were predicted in the old. Therefore, the new is the predicted of the old. If the new is to also predict, then the word is to be added to and there's no canon of scriptures.

2. I believe there is a gift of prophet in the NT but not what we see in the church today. That is, someone telling us or me, you will buy a car tomorrow. Or someone telling us, there's somebody here, the Lord said, all your enemies are going to die before you get home etc. These and the likes are not even prophecies in the first place.

3. There're few instances where "prophets" are mentioned in the new testament which the context refer to the prophets of old and this doesn't apply such to the new testament. One of the major confusion is, as a keep saying it, there's so much confusion of mixing the practices of old with the new testament. So, people mix and can't differentiate the operation of the gift of prophet in the old with that of the new.

4. We can begin to explore scriptures accordingly to see into the subject matter.

It is not your continuous paying of tithe that healed you, you were healed in Christ 2000 years ago, you just didn't know your rights and inheritance in Christ. So, your mind was trained to believe it your tithe paying that healed you. There are millions of people who still pay tithe and die sick.

New International Version
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

That word "salvation" in the Greek means, complete wholeness in Christ. Stop believing you did something for God to heal you, God healed you not because of your works but because you're in Christ.

First of all, are you, Bidam willing to accept the truth or you just want to believe\hold to what you want to believe\hold unto concerning this subject?

2. We have to understand who a prophet is in the new testament and what prophecies are. Is it someone who speak or predict the future like that of the old testament? Or someone who teach revelation truth of God unlike the OT.

3. I believe there're NT prophets BUT THEY ARE NOT THOSE WHO TELL PEOPLE THE FUTURE OR PREDICT LIKE THE OLD TESTAMENT.

The sins of believers are judged on Christ and Christ is not coming the second time for sins of believers if we sin. This is not to mean we make a continuous practice of sin. Giving is part of believers' new nature, not the law tithing. We, believers are not giving just because we want God to bless us, we give because we're already blessed and also in Christ. When people give in order to make blessings happen, that's works of the the law and that's why, the more people do that, the more they are fallen from Grace.

If you or anyone wants to follow the law of tithing, here are some of them:

New International Version
You must not eat in your own towns the tithe of your grain and new wine and olive oil, or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts.
Deuteronomy 12:17

New International Version
Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always.
Deuteronomy 14:23

New International Version
When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.
Deuteronomy 26:12

Ask yourself questions from the above verses:

Does your lie speaking tithe pastor ever told you to EAT YOUR TITHE? Has he ever told you to have a tithe break, give it to Levites...if they still exist, give to foreigners, fatherless and widows? Do you see the content of tithe in all these verses? Do you see "tithe of your money"? God's tithe are defined in His word.....study to show yourself approved unto God.

It's all by revelation. Once you get it, your life never remains the same. The law was only our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, so we could be justified by faith. Now that we have faith, the law becomes obsolete and unnecessary.

Don't know why we want to prove we are more righteous than Christ!

People like Olaadegbu, Bidam, Image123, Alwaystrue and other law teachers on this forum are part of the Babylon church (confused church) and they will stand for Grace on one side and the next time, they go to the law, promoting obedience to the law instead of obedience to the faith (of the Son of God). Ola is the worst of them all. I already know all the scriptures they will quote to advocate keeping the law but ask them, do they keep the "whole" law? They will tell you, some are sacrificial and some ceremonial etc. But nowhere does scripture made such distinction - the law is a whole package. As a matter of fact, the 10 commandment is part of the whole that is abolished.

Today's tithe collected in the name of God is nothing but falsehood and religious fraud. It doesn't stand the truth of sound doctrine and has been proven man-made. People of God, sit down and study the word for yourself and question this practices. How come you have been paying tithe but you still struggling financially like any other man? You pay tithe but you still counted as middle class and can't afford to pay the tuition for these religious higher institution for your children?

I thought they said Malachi opens the windows of heaven and pour you out blessings that there will not be room to contain such blessings. It's either that verse is lying or someone twisting that verse to fraud people. I challenge all tithe advocates to produce evidence of Malachi 3 and I challenge every one who had been wrongly taught the falsehood of tithe to return and study the subject - It doesn't take you but a week to get all the tithe scriptures together and study them in context.
