I need your help sir. I recently purchased a Thermocool 10KVA Petrol generator with remote and electric starter- but I noticed they both do not work- only the recoil starter works.

However, I can stop the generator with remote once it starts working- so my question is- why and how does the remote works when I press stop but never responds whenever I press start. The electric starter doesn’t work as well whenever I need to power off the gen- I have to pull the rope every time then use the remote to put off the generator whenever I need to.

If it's still under warranty return it or take it to their service center, should be faulty panel. You should have tested all these during purchase.

Last time if it up. It's 13L capacity but uses 11L or so.
It ran for 11h with my AC, small fridge, ps5 and 43 inches plus alot of people come to charge phone and laptops in days like this. Idk if that's up to full load but I don't think so.

That's ok, run it without AC if you want more time. What's the power of the AC? Is it inverter type?

This depends on the type of washing machine. Is it semi automatic, fully automatic or front load? Check the power of the washing machine first.

If the pump is indeed 2HP, get a generator of at least 5000 running Watt from either Sumec or Thermocool.

This generator, I doubt if it's original. People have been advised to stay away from Elepaq for now, too many fakes around. They also stamp unrealistic power rating on these generators.

I did that but still same thing, it got to a stage the exhaust pipe showed fire I just stop it make I no set house on fire.

Stop using it for now then. Check if there's something wrong with the governor.

Good morning, please I used to power my pumping machine with my Elepaq 2.5kva but now it is not powering it again. immediately I switch on the machine, it gives this horrible sound that shows it is working under stress so I just swith it off back.

What can I do, does it mean I can't use my gen with the pump again?

You have been stressing the gen with that pump. If you must use it to pump, increase the firing speed.

When it's hot you don't need to close the choke, leave it opened. Simply put, don't adjust the choke position when the engine is hot.

Disconnect the battery and connect the charger and observe if the miui logo comes up. You may need to press the power button after plugging.

Its a big generator, such fuel consumption is normal.

wow, so what's if the avr is below 220v because my own used to fluctuate... 220v sometimes and 170v sometimes and 190v sometimes... I don't take it serious because I don't load anything on it except TV and other dstv and sometimes Frid Fridge... Reason why I used to think maybe the avr was low due to low load on it...

Its the equivalent of low voltage, it will power your tv but devices with pumps and compressors will struggle to work ( there will be over heating).

Leave it like that. As long as its not below 220V its ok

Hahaha. I even bought ECO12990ES 9000 starting watts and people told me it's too big for me and I had to sell it to a nairalander here. I used part of the proceed to buy this yet people say it's too big still. I just needed something that will comfortably accommodate all my appliances.

A generator of 3000-4000 starting watts is what you need. Should have been less if your AC was inverter type.
