Good morning lovely people. I just came across this thread. I was denied a visa twice even with full funding and it broke my heart that I couldn't apply for admission this fall. I know studies are the easiest route as they told us and that's why I wanted to ply that route that was why I sought a scholarship as there's no way I could afford education outside. Please, what other route can one go through considering life as a Nigerian. Thank you all

I've updated it but still can't schedule an appointment. When it got to the stage of inputing my receipt number, it kept on telling me that the number isn't correct and try again bla bla

You do not need to pay another mrv fee. Simply Update your DS 160 number on the CGI portal. It will be reflected on your visa appointment confirmation. Then reprint. Goodluck

Called them and it lasted for over 20mins and no representative picked up before they ended it. Were you able to resolve it?

someone should help me please. i was turned back on the 2nd of June cos the barcode of my Ds160 is different from the one used to process my appointment. Since yesterday, i tried to reschedule another appointment and after entering my MRV receipt number, it keeps displaying "No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for. " What should i do please cos the staff told me then to reschedule an emergency appointment
