Who's the babe in the first picture? I'm willing to challenge her man for her hand ![]() Timagex: |
I forgot I was dealing with muslims whose brains operate like a car with a bad battery, so let me lower my standards. According to the Daily Trust which is a muslim owned newspaper, traders in Kano stated that the reason why food prices escalate during Ramadan is because supply of food cannot satisfy demand. So the question is, why are muslims eating more food and having a greater demand for food at a time when they are supposed to be abstaining from it? Does that even make sense? Friend22: |

What does this nonsense even mean? I asked why muslims eat more food during fasting than they do during non fasting. vedaxcool:

The beauty of Islam is to do the opposite of what Islam teaches? Is that why muslims consume more food during fasting than when they're not fasting? Lukgaf:
|
So what exactly is the essence of this fasting? Fasting is supposed to be about self denial from food and pleasure, yet muslims eat more food during their fasting and have more sex. It's very funny to see how every major food company increases the amount of advertisements towards muslims during the time when they're supposed to be limiting the amount of food they consume. I've reproduced the transcript of the YouTube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4elhOK34tk4 Something which I have noticed over the years is that Yoruba people seem to be in a class of their own in many ways. A lot of the time when people in Britain make disrespectful remarks about Africans, it is really Yorubas who have prompted them to feel that way. Part of the reason for this of course is that there's an awful lot of Nigerians living in this country now and the great majority of them are Yorubas. Now I have to say that a lot of the time they still seem different from other Africans I've known such as Zambians and Kenyans who are as rational and sensible as anything and with whom I could get along without any difficulty. With Yorubas though there always seems to be a kind of disconnect as though even when we are chatting away in English they are somehow speaking a different language to me. I don't have this problem with Ibos by the way. I think I have mentioned before that I used to have evening classes in Igbo and I've associated with quite a few Igbos. I don't know if anyone remembers Colonel Ojukwu the man who who used to be the leader of Biafra. Believe it or not he ultimately settled down in the Hackney Area of London where I used to see him. Most of the successful Africans one encounters in this country who seem to be doing all right for themselves are Yorubas. They make up many of the doctors, accountants and solicitors whose names are full of "O"and "A" and they're called things like Adeyemi or Olusanya. So too are an awful lot of staff in care homes. Yoruba kids seem to do very well at school up to a certain age in Britain. They get better GCSE results on the whole than white british pupils. However they also tend towards a lot of language delay, that is to say late speaking and they tend to be more prone to mental diseases like autism in childhood and schizophrenia in adolescence than white Europeans. This is most likely because the risk for schizophrenia generally for people from West Africa tends to be higher than for White Europeans. Of course the thing which many people most associate Nigeria with is scams and it is the Yoruba who are behind almost all of them. You are very unlikely to find a Hausa or Ibo at the back of a scam, but scams are like food and water for certain Yorubas. Being tricksy or dishonest is something which seems to run through Yoruba culture. I don't think this is a genetic thing. I'm sure there is not a stretch of DNA which codes for being scheming and devious, but on the other hand I imagine that growing up in a certain culture might do it. It almost seems to be second nature. Anybody who's ever worked with Yoruba people will know what I'm talking about here. Even when they have straightforward jobs in social care many of them seem to be up to something suspicious. They are often making secretive telephone calls or you will find that they are known by more than one name or something about their background story doesn't add up. The practice of having more than one name is very common amongst Yorubas you'll hear a Nigerian Yoruba say something along the lines of: My real name is Yetunde but at church they call me Ezekiel; or My cousin's name is Adesola and that is what some people know me as but in my passport it says that I am Obaloluwa. Seriously this is not an exaggeration as anybody who has interacted much with Yorubas will know. The other thing which many people notice with Yoruba people is a tendency towards eccentric behavior. The conduct of the average Kikuyu from Kenya is as normal as anybody else but this simply does not seem to be the case with most Yorubas. I have no idea if this is connected in some way with the tendency towards autism and schizophrenia but the fact is an awful lot of Yorubas come across as odd. I'm curious to know whether other people have observed this about Nigerians in general or Yorubas in particular. I would also be interested to know how many people when they make generalizations about Africans are basing these more upon Nigerians than any other nationality. |

hopefulLandlord:You mean the God that created all the nations of the earth from one blood? They prayed to a god that saw nothing wrong in slavery and works in mysterious ways, so mysterious that it's totally indistinguishable from random chance. Nothing fails like prayerThe history of what is called slavery in the Bible is complex and this oversimplification simply doesn't do it any justice. I am more than willing to discuss it at greater length of you're curious enough to listen with an open mind. You would have the same success praying to a milk jug as you do praying to god -- the milk jug sometimes answers your prayer the way you want to, sometimes not and sometimes the answer is delayed. See the problem here? If things turn out the way you want them to, you say it was because you prayed. If not, it's because god knows what's best and you didn't pray for the right thing. Or, if it happens 10 years later you say god answered your prayer, it was just delayed. This is nonsense.I think the big difference between Christianity when it is rightly practiced and other faiths is that Christianity properly speaking differentiates between superstition and religion. Sadly, a lot of the new generation prosperity Churches are so out of touch with the truth about Christianity that they have effectively reduced it to nothing more than a formulaic and ritualistic works based heresy which is leading many along the road to perdition. Nigeria is filled with a population that prays against poverty, only for her to be declared the poverty capital of the world http://punchng.com/with-87m-poor-citizens-nigeria-overtakes-india-as-worlds-poverty-capital/ a sign that the prayer workedLast time I checked, Christians were the most financially prosperous group in the world. I'm not saying that prosperity is evidence of true faith because that would be dumb since there are many wealthy atheists and practitioners of other faiths. I'm just saying that it is as wrong for atheists to use poverty as a sign for the non existence of God as it is for some religious people to use wealth to affirm their faith. This is also why Nigerians keep praying for long life and our life expectancy keeps dropping which is now 54.5 years (the 7th lowest in the world) while a prayerless Japan comprising of atheist majority has a life expectancy of 83.7 years (highest in the world)You can't just simply isolate one factor (religion) and use it as a catch all explanation for something like Life expectancy. In the case of Japan, I believe their healthy vegetarian diets and physically active lifestyle plays a major role in their high life expectancy. So in other words, it doesn't matter what the Japanese choose to believe or don't believe, as long as they continue living a healthy life, they will have a high life expectancy. This is also why Nigeria is filled with a population that all claim to be "God Fearing" but has the 14th highest crime rate in the world while an atheist Japan filled with "sinners" "Reprobate" "people who don't fear god" "heathens" "infidels" have the lowest crime rate in the world https://www.numbeo.com/crime/rankings_by_country.jspIn atheist China, Muslims Uighurs are being imprisoned in so called re-education camps where the women are continually raped in an effort to demoralise them and make them give up their faith, but I'm very sure you'd be offended if you were told that atheism creates such behaviour. Immoral or criminal conduct is due to the essentially sinful nature of the human being. That sinful nature will manifest itself even in atheists. Go and read about the atrocities committed by your beloved Japanese during the Second World War if you don't believe me. Prayer is an essential part of Christian life and when done the right way and in the right spirit, it can move mountains. |

Southern Nigerians are born fools. They are waiting until these atrocities start unfolding in the South before they realise that they don't belong in the same country with these animals. |
