@op, this your post, na wa o, so you are preaching pretence, what is wrong if u are known d way you really are than pretending as if you are a saint, only to show your real self after you are married, dont you think that can ignite divorce? @ ladies, never pretend when you are with your man, d ones that love you will correct you and stay by you to make sure you get rid of d bad habits. May God help us all......amen. |
2015: May God spare our lives to see and feel how its gonna be, politically.......... Amen. |
Something is wispering witin me that there is more to this story, i would rather not comment now, until d real truth is out. |
To be respected is better than to be feared, when fear is involved in a relationship, it looks like master-slave relationship, which is not healthy and can never be healthy. |
I smell selfishness! |
No need to panic, my boy was like that before, we took him to hospital severally, yet, as usual, "hes normal, no problem" is d usual report we constantly get from d doctors. At a stage, i just decided to hold my peace, hoping to change when it is due, right now, to d glory of God, he eats so much that im almost tempted to call him a glutton, so its d stage they are, she will soon outgrow that stage and u will not have cause to panic again. Let me share some of d things we were told while visiting d hospital because of him: 1. Try to find out his best solid food and never be too tired or busy to prepare it for her. 2. Replace puff-puff or any other flour fry-fry with bean cake(akara), she will get more protein from this than from flour. 3. Ensure an egg a day, for adequate of protein. 4. If there are other kids around, serve them together, let her eat while others are eating, she will definately be interested in eating at d same time with them. 5. If there are no other kids around, eat together with her, she will like it. 6. Sometimes, u need to be firm, u can sometimes refuse to give her d junks, insisting that she should eat, if u can do that for about 2-3 times, when she is really hungry, next time, she will take you serious and adhere to your request, try it. 7. Always involve her when you want to start preparing food, ask her, "what do you want us to eat tonight", she will be more interested in d meal, when she is involved. These are d few ones i can remember from d counselling we received then. May God help us all and may our efforts on them never be in vain. Goodluck. |
This is d type of desperation d bible described in Isaiah chapter 4. As for me, i cant say anything about d man, but what about d ladies that agreed with such terms and conditions.........what do we call that, if not DESPERATION! *##End time indeed##* |
Anytime i read news like this, it keeps me wondering how they feel taking their fellow human beings life, just like that.....oh God, help us. RIP to d dead! |
First of all, thanks to those who nominated me, but, sincerely, truth be told, no one in this family section do not deserve d award, but Debrief is exeptional, in d sense dt, there are two guys whose main reason of visiting this section is to insult d person of this woman, yet, she NEVER sound insultive to them nor to anybody else, there are some cases in which these guys will even mention her username or quote her comment, only for them to insult her or ask her ridiculous questions, yet, she always ignore them, in reality, how many of us can take that? If for only this singular reason, i think she deserve to be d poster of d year. Therefore, i nominate Debrief. |
His time was up, not for any other reasons. RIP to him. |
Lol.... Babies use crying to announce their arrival into d world "mowaa, mowaaa, mowaaaaa"......meaning......... "i come, i come, i come" |
And my vote goes to................... Efemena-xy |
Unique and funny! |
Thanks for this, i hope she adheres to this. |
@mod, I think this is a frontpage material. Who knows, there may be someone who can help him or be instrumental to his getting help. |
Oh my God, how i wish im in position to help this man. What trills me more about this man is his ability to hustle, despite his condition, if it is some lazy pple, its an opportunity for them to turn themselves to beggars. Oh, i pray that this man will be connected to helper very soonest. This is a lesson for us, the man wanted to kill himself because of "STIGMATISATION" Let us stop stigmatising against pple with deformities, they are also human beings, they are to be shown love and empathy. May God help us all. |
@ Debrief, congratulations ma, its washable, and im expecting a pm from as regards this. Thanks. |

Every daughter-in-law is a potential mother-in-law. God is not mocked, whatever u sow, u shall reap. I pray to reap whatever im sowing in millions fold as regards this thread. |
^^^ hhhhmmmmm......interesting...... |
Mrs juan, u just made my day, anytime im given d opportunity to talk about my MIL, i feel so excited, because she is d most wonderful woman in dis world, believe me, when i put her side by side with my mum, honestly, she scores higher marks. Where am i going to start? Ok, let me start like this: I love her because she meant good for us; when we first got married, she insisted that we live in one of d flat of her house, and for d time we spent there, she never come to our flat, even though we stayed in d same compound, if i have anything to ask her, its me dt will go and ask her downstair(we live upstairs), each time i ask why she has not been coming upstairs to play with us, she would say, at this stage of your marriage, never allow visitors, including me, u both need a lot of privacy now. 2ndly, she doesnt refer to me as DIL, she always refer to me as a daughter, anytime anybody ask after her DIL, she responds like this, "i dont have DIL, i have daughters and one son, so which one are u referring to among them?" She is a very good friend of my mum, sometimes, she will call me and say "mummy extends her greetings to u o, i went there yesterday to play with her", they go to parties togethet, even in uniforms, if u dont tell pple, u can never know they are inlaws, u will think they are siblings who are so fond of each other. Anytime, we buy something for, she will request fot my mum' s portion. Each time she comes visiting, she comes with new clothes for me, which she also have in, and she will insist dt we go to church together in uniform. Before we fought it out with her, she didnt allow us to buy things for her, telling us dt d totality of our salaries is not up to her pension salary. She is d one dt take care of all my children, i never spent a penny on daycare or nanny, even as im right now in my place of work. My baby is with her, when im going in d morning, i drop d baby with her, when im coming bach aound 3-4pm, i pick up d baby from her, on weekends, she is d first dt will call to greet us, asking me to allow all d children to talk with her. Infact, how many do i want to say about her, shes just tooooo exeptional, im always happy to hear from her, to see her. Since May, ive been begging her to come and stay with us permanently, but she refused saying "ile oko mi ni nma ku si" meaning "i will die in my husband's house" As im typing, im just smiling, dt is how i always feel when i remember my MIL.......oh? Do i forget to mention how she use to spoil me when im pregnant and when i just put to bed.....oh its just too wonderful to narrate. Abeg, "kolorun ma pa iya oko mi fun mi bayi"....she is just too nice, i cant afford to miss her now. What about how she takes side with me, if she is able to hear of any disagreement btw me and my hubby.......so many to say .... to be continued...... |
Abeg, free d Bishop jare he is using style-style to tell you dt his own jet is on d way, hence, his defence. |
There is no way there will not be disagreements, because, the two of them are from different background, raised up by different parents, bearing different names, with different siblings and relatives, and in some cases, with different religious principles. Not forgetting that they are human beings, who are imperfect creatures. However, marriage should consists of 2 forgivers, who are ready and willing to forgive each other each time a partner errs. Through disagreement, couples tend to know themselves better, know their do and donts, know what pleases and displeases each other, especially. In a young marriage. So, in a good and healthy marriage, disagreements are meant to strenghen d marital relationship, not otherwise, if d foundation stands sure. So disagreements are good when it serves positive purposes. However, when d couples are getting older, they should be able to have understood each other more, thereby reducing d freuquency of their disagreements. |
It is not good at all, it shows immaturity on d part of d man. The best he should have done is to quit d relationship. I suggest dt d man really need to grow up, there is every likelihood that this type of man will be beating up his wife after getting married, anytime there is disagreement, so he really need a lot of growing-up to do b4 settling down. May God help him. |
cantell: ^^He asked a question about a thread instead of you to answer, you wrote a meaningless epistle. Are you now T4realgirl's lawyer or what?with due respect, i dont involve myself in e-fighting here, if only u will not be biased, u will see d answer to d thread in d post, u may need to re-read d post again and see what i mean. Personally, i dont like condemning other pple's work or idea, that is why i suggested that, if d thread does not make sense, it should be closed, and another one opened, instead of condemning d thread. I'm saying all these in good faith and no offence intended. Thanks. |
johnwizey: Y ogun state alwaysbecause ogun state is d state dt leads to so many other states, even, other countries.........hence, their slogan "gateway state" |
May God give d parents d fortitude to bear d loss........... Amen To d victims.........may their souls rest in perfect peace......... Amen |
Hhhmmmm..... This is a forum, there are dozens of threads here, nobody forces anybody to read any thread, u have choices here as regards d threads to read and to post comments on. If u open a thread and it seems it doesnt make sense to u, close it and choose another thread, nobody crucify you for that. Even at home, when we are watching aTV programme, and it seems it doesnt make sense to us, we change d channel, the same thing is applicable here. While u dont see any sense in d thread, some see a lot of senses in it, that is life for you......"one man's food is another man's poison". That a thread does not make sense to you does noes mean it will not make sense to some other people. No offence meant, both to d poster and to Tgirl, im only being honest with here. Thanks. |
If they can really do and achieve this, then, i will start to believe in Nigeria d more. |
dmcdad: Thank God for you...thanks |
As for me, im enjoying every bit of my marriage. |
