You are very correct. My chances of being scam here reduced drastically the day I decided to treat every one selling or rendering services on nairaland as scammers until proven innocent. Meaning my scammometer is high
I wanted to buy an Instagram account,dude thought I was the regular ignorant nairalanders he's used to. After few chats my guy ran off. Only for me to read a post of guy complaining of being scammed by the same guy I wanted to buy an IG account from.
I have done few transactions on nairaland,even became good friends with some of my customers. But I know nairaland is filled with scammers,just as you wake up in the morning to go to work. They also wake up and log into nairaland to perform their trade.
Always check date of registration,very important. You will hardly see anyone using 2005 - 2012 account to defraud.
Always check how many people have patronised him before and their reviews by going through his threads.
Always do face to face transactions unless it's absolutely Impossible.
Don't buy anything you need urgently on nairaland,you will likely fall prey to scam. Go to a shop in your vicinity.
Don't buy Credits or data on nairaland,I don't care if there are genuine ones,it doesn't make sense,it's very stupid. You will spend more money time and energy buying data on nairaland than just dialing a used code.
If it's too good to be true run,it's a scam.
If it's too cheap run.
Lastly always have at the back of your mind that nairaland is an office to thousands of scammers. They log in,in the morning and log out at night,just like those who work in offices.

So many Nigerian youths are into fraud(Yahoo yahoo) and many more are into petty scam like the ones on nairaland . I wonder how the future is for our country. It was brought to my attention that this renowned scammer has been lobbying to have his name removed from the list of scammers on nairaland. I had promised him that I will be hovering above any new profile or thread he creates as I feel that's what I can do to make sure nairalanders don't fall victim to his scamming trade.

I paid him 4k to teach me Affiliate marketing which he didn't. All he did was send me some junk files and deleted the whatsapp group only to create anyone for his new victims.

What was your initial agreement? Show us proof that he didn't do what he promised. He gave you materials for your payment right? You claimed they were junk,how? Can you be more specific?
