NYSC › Re: Muslim Corps Members Harassed In Abia State Over Bokoharam Issues by guiddoti: 12:40am On Jul 10, 2014
There is a problem of real identity in Nigeria. All deltans and rivers are called igbos by yorubas. This is where all problems lie. Until when we can truely identify our ethnicity, we will continue to generalise. Op shouldnt be suprised that Aba traders called all muslims bokoharam.
NYSC › Re: Muslim Corps Members Harassed In Abia State Over Bokoharam Issues by guiddoti:
Yask2guy: It is of no news that the security challenges in Abia state has gotten to the extent of being vigilant over the issues concerning scares of bokoharam insurgents due to false acquisition of about 400 traders travelling through the state.
This led to scares amidst the dwellers of the state and as such got to the extent of accusing any Muslims (even just by names) in the state as bokoharam counterparts. Even when it is very clear to them that most of us are from the south western part of the country.
This is not the first time a Muslim corps member will be harassed publicly, even when fully kitted.
They have started calling us bokoharams to the extent of arresting a fully identified (Muslim) corps member at umuahia, abia state. Threatening him after his release that he will be dealt with if he is found again in the state.
The information getting to we residing at the MCAN's lodge in Umuahia now is that if there is any bokoharam attack in Abia state, the first places they will go to ransack are the MCAN lodges.
This must stop...
They are really threatening our lives here... We are going back home!
I'ii advise you go home. Aba can be very funny on this issue. This is what bokoharam has turned our beloved country to. For your best interest, leave Aba as soon as possible before riot begins. Any rumour can trigger Aba traders into what you are seeing now.

Thicking: Hi All. Wonder why stumbling on this did not happen earlier.
Great work by you gurus here.

I am new here and fortunately/not, my question is the last thing being discussed here.

My 28days requirement would be fulfilled on Friday, 18th July (from Friday 20th June).
However, i have filled, submitted and paid for the online application. I selected July
23rd as my interview date.

I initially was free to do this because i was told that a 'complete application' is only when 'one
shows up for biometrics.

Reading from SpikeC however says otherwise.

I therefore want clarification in the following regards:

1) What is regarded as the 'date of completed application' (UK website-Rules and Conditions, states
there is a difference between a 'valid' application and a 'complete' application?

2) What date is considered as the reference point for the '28days'?

3) If i am in error, what are my options to prevent being denied, for albeit this 'flimsy' reason?

I would appreciate you all gurus @Justwise @DonOms @spikesC (though hes already given his opinion)
and others to ASSIST a fellow.

Thanks a lot and very expectant.
pls, keep us posted on ur development, your questions have given me concern. I don't want to lose any money to the ukba. The gurus are really trying.

Ask yourself these: What was the minimum wage then and what percentage of it was the school fees? What is it now and what percentage of it is the school fees?
I know how it feels, we're in it together na. We just've to endure it.
I can afford it, you can, others can, but some can't. Should they be sent home? Haba!
I love you struggle for common emancipation of Nigerian students. I hope you have no intention of spending millions studying Msc in abroad after this time out. Lets do it here and fight its cause.
Shame!! Edo State Gov. On It Again Pic

Why can't our Dear (attention sick) governor just stay off the media for once? This is absolute display of sheer ignorance and worst still, his social Media Assistant comes online to publish these insulting pictures when he should be ashamed of the actions of his boss.

The child in this photo is supposed to be preparing for school, or be in school doing something more deserving and not hawking. The governor (with this show of shame) is endorsing child abuse and child labor, buying chips from a child who is hawking on the streets. Only in a society devoid of good governance this kind of child abuse is celebrated. Should we be jumping up celebrating it as good gesture or humanity? what do you expect? A governor who didn't pass through a primary school system will never know who should be in school and who should be hawking.
You too have part of the blame. Do you think writing justify your patriotism for good governance? The governor is doing his administrative responsibility, you are here complaining. I had like you sponsor the poor girl, and put the governor to shame.

There is no question asking me to legalise my certificate. I just need clarification if I should do so before it gets to rushing hour. Thanks all

Christianity Etc › Re: Sources Of Curses and spiritual problems by guiddoti:
There are three major sources of curse: from God(curse imposed on man's race due to adam's disobedience and sinners) , from satan( agent of satan imposed curse on their victim) and from man(self impose curse). I'ii only state the curse from satan and man.
Satan(agent of satan, being a man/woman who is practising satanism falls under this category) has three (3) major channels to which the curses operate, namely: curse to kill, curse to steal and curse to destroy.
When a man begins to speak negative utterances, may have placed curse on himself, that's why we are encouraged always to speak positive, even when the goings is not good. Rejoice always in the Lord, and lets know evil communication proceed out of your mouth.
Curse can also be family curse, generational curse, parental curse, community curse, placenta curse to name but few.
With all these, curses, certainly, will invite spiritual problem.

but of our ignorance of our weakness to give all within us.

That's a good match for Ifeanyi Okowa. It's high time delta north took his place in delta state politics.
I love it. Pat utomi is a good reputable character, having a good political-economical background. That's what we need as a deltan(state).
