Very sad and disgusting. Our heartfelt condolence to his family! The activities of these motor park hoodlums should be proscribed in all western states, the are the main sources of political thuggery and violence. |
Na big LIE. If you believe this then you can believe anything ![]() |
Maybe we should seek for another word to call that bill. The term terrorism has been abused by the Americans for self interest. They created a monster out of a small group of criminals called Alqueda and used it to invade other countries for their resources. Today they are fighting and destroying multi billion dollar infrastruture in Libya in alliance with the same guys they have been calling terrorists, some of them just released from Guantanamo bay. With the recent public humiliation of African Union by NATO we have to understand that the imperialists are coming back and Obama is nothing but a white kid who will do the bidding of the multi nationals any day. GEJ is going to be told by Obama to dump the Petroleum Industry Bill or water it down; and if he does that the people of Niger Delta will continue to live with the present unjust situation |
Magani burantashi will fix the severed weapon of yansh destruction, he should bring it to mallam Garba in Kebbi. Abeg what about the balls? ![]() |
After serving in Obasanjos Govt, Elrufai has never believed that we can have anything better. He is telling us about division when he was involved in ethnic cleansing during his tenure. Go and ask people who lived in Karmo, Chika, Gwagwa etc communities in Abuja what he did? He demolished the houses of thousands of people (mostly Southerners) whom he refered to as non indigenes of Abuja while those who spoke Hausa had their Houses spared. The displaced people where mostly those who escaped conflicts in the north and settled in the suburbs of Abuja, some have spent over 20 years only for the mallam to wake up one morning and give thousands of fellow citizens 21 days ultimatum to vacate this communities with no form of compensation. How many new schools did Elrufai build in Abuja? Yes he tried to beautify the city center and selectively reclaim the masterplan, what else? Did he extend development to outside the city center of Abuja during his tenure? which has led to exhorbitant rentage because development is concentrated only Asokoro, Garki, Wuse and Maitama which are small areas; what did he do Abaji, Kuje, Bwari etc to develop those locations? He is a divisive factor who should concentrate on his court cases for fraud, which he can not deny. After telling us that Buhari has nothing good to offer Nigeria, he changed suddenly when he couldnt have his way in PDP to become Buharis campaign administrator. shege mutum Let him also give us the statistics of how he spent the FCT budget and money realised from sale of Govt houses during his tenure. |
Many pastors/churches have a special sermon on tithin during service; the put the congregation into so much fear that they give reluctantly and not cheerfully, they emphasise so much on sowing seeds to build their empires. When I attend church, I dont allow anyone to make me have a feeling of guilt by forcing me to pay tithe. I give as the spirit moves me, |
The same Nigerian team almost lost to Ethiopia in a nations cup qualifier, the Argentines and the ref are the ones to be investigated. That ref was involved in some kind of Ojoro |
Another tribal bashing thread opened. He sighs loudly mscheeeews and walks out. ![]() |
Outstrip:No, she was not leaving in hell, she was earning good salary and I was also giving her additional money to spend how she likes in order to please her, I was the one suffering abuses, i almost left the house for her, now I think I am so lucky because she has greatly changed and she said she was been influenced by a coleague in her office who kept reminding her about how to deal with a man who tries to subjugate a woman which i never did. Finally, her mum asked her to quit that job she loved and attend counselling, not all men are lucky to see their wives changing from bad to good. |
That is seed sawn by thousands of market women and poor members waiting for their own miracle with no business plan or oil block exploration licence. Abeg let the man enjoy jare, he has worked hard for it. he never forced any of you to donate to his ministry and he has invested very much in our local economy by establishing schools and creating jobs. Our God is not a poor God. Like Late Arch Bishop Idahosa will say 'they shared out his (Jesus) garment amongst themselves' as contained in the Bible, which implies that Jesus wore designers in his days that made the soldiers to scramble for it; meaning that if he had worn rags the soldiers wouldnt have to share it amongst themselves. He also rode on a donkey which has never been riden by anyone. chuckdee4:Poor man, you are busy talking about standards in a customised private jet as if you have inspeced it to find out where all the emergency doors are located. The molue that you ride to work everyday get emergency exit? |
so former Gov Ikedi Ohascam couldnt pay salaries to civil servants and he promised to provide 200,000 jobs for unemployed graduates in the state at the payment of Rochas has done well, at least the civil servants can smile, I hope T.A orji does same for Abia State |
saibuhari:My fear is not the mans career, but his life, he should be put on suicide watch! Its easier to kick her out before she does any danage if she is still a girl friend, but when you take her to the altar and this days they ladies also insist on court marriage its a different scenario altogether; because Getting a divorce will see you sharing all you have worked for in your life with a woman out to destroy you. |
I can feel the mans pains, I had a similar experience, where I was attacked by my woman on different occassions, I faced serious abuse and was almost dying in silence because I didnt want the public to see me as bully or batterer. It got to a point where she slapped me viciously on the face during an argument and for the first time I struck back because of the extreme provocation and next she was calling everyone to report to them that I mercylessly beat her up. Many friends and relations where calling me to express their disappointment that I could lay my hands on my woman, I saw my image being battered and what i did was to concentrate on my job, working late hours because I was adviced by my dad (who believed my side of the story)that if I should loose my job the situation would get worse for me. I asked her to leave my house but she would not heed to that, I contemplated divorce but it was not easy because your family in Africa feels you are going to embarass them and the pastor kept reminding me of what the holy book says; like what the ambassador said, there are many men in Nigeria who are living in bondage with their wives. Those who are lucky not to have experienced such will never understand, they will quickly jump up to say crucify the man, what sort of man should ever raise his hand against his wife, he is not man enough bla bla bla! For all bachelors, before you decide to settle down, among the women around you, choose the one that seems to respect and fear you most, not the one that seems to love you most. There are many ladies who will hide their ugly sides and pretend to be good just to get you to marry them. I hope that ambassador doesnt commit suicide, as the Igbo proverb says 'its better for you to kill a man than to humiliate him' |
Yeye people wey no get work. You want us to start wasting our time discussing British Colonial Royalty when we have our own Obas to talk about instead. Leave the British and their royals alone, there fore fathers amalgamated Nigeria by joining groups of people with unrelated ideologies together in other to control their resources, they should come and help us to divorce Igbos from Hausas or Yorubas from Fulanis that they married against their wills , He sighs mscheew and walks away from this thread ![]() |
maimalari:It is only when oil pipelines and supply are threatened that the international community remembers that civilians needs to be protected, but foe now no case, Libya is the focus. NATO should help Nigeria with information about how they are dealing with Taliban and Alqueda to tackle this boko haram menace |
when the northern leaders failed to tackle the issue of Almajiri because they need them to intimidate their opponents and hold on to power for themselves and their unborn kids, they never knew that the chicken will surely come home to roost and the evil that men do is now living with them. Efforts have to be made now to start educating and engage into meaningful activities the millions of teenage boys and girls roaming the northern streets as Almajiris before the start exporting their new past time of planting Taliban style bombs to the South. |
If Shekarau had spent money on educating the millions of almajiris in his state, he wouldnt have gotten a second term, so he rather gives sharia law and entrench poverty. Instead of working he was busy sponsoring hisba sharia police to mount road blocks seaching for trucks carrying alcohol to destroy. The fact is that some regions in the country are slowing others down; just like former Gov Alimodu Sherriff said 'the southern press can write whatever they like afterall morethan half of the people in Borno cannot read. FOREXMART: |
Dont bother, Ndigbo are not celebrating this appointment because it is not included in the order of protocol. All we want from GEJ just like Gov Obi said is improvement of infrastructure; federal roads rehabilitation, second nier bridge, dredging of river niger to onitsha port etc. SGF is completely at the discretion of Mr President, so if he fails we blame GEJ. |
Thats what you get when you have illiterate Almajiris being recruited into the armed forces based on quota system kewed to favour the north. In the north hardly do you find police checkpoints, thats why all the policemen and soldiers work their way to be posted to the south where they feel the action is. Go to Aba Portharcourt road, you find 200 police and army checkpoints all manned by mostly illiterate northerners; all they know is how to shout Kai burobanka, shege, danburoba, I go shoot am for you if i mess of |
You watched what the Arabs now call swinejazeera and you felt like crying, the station that reports everyday how NATO is bombarding Tripoli a heavily populated city and tell us they are protecting civilians. Perhaps, they are planning something to destabilise this country and it starts from the media telling us how the 'international Community' is going to assist Nigeria fight poverty and insecurity by locating a NATO military base here. Shine your eye, there are homeless people everywhere in Europe and how many documentaries have you watched on that? You can cry me a river, how many documentaries have you watched in Aljazeera showing American Soldiers cutting off their dead victims body parts as souvenirs in Afghanistan (what is more degrading to humans than that?) Please if you want to talk about news channels dont mention what you see in the corporate medias represented by CNN, Fox, Aljazeera, only watch them with bias. See how they are promoting that French Woman Lagarde to become the new IMF MD, without mentioning the guy from South Africa or Mexico interested in the position which has been occupied by Europe for the past 65 years or making so many Nigerians to spend 24hrs watching so called royal wedding and thinking that the royals are from outer space which to me is no different from the son of Oba of Benin wedding. Forget all these documentaries, Aljazeera should be showing us Fasholas achievement in the last four years. |
moonraker:Last week in Ilorin while commissioning the expanded cargo airport, GEJ stated that his focus is on decongesting Lagos in all ramifications. The PDP govt sees Lagos as a state that is taking the shine from the FG, meaning that many citizens in Nigeria have more respect for Fashola than in GEJ. ACN swept the entire SE in the last elections as a result of the singular performance of BRF which they people want replicated in their own ststaes of Oyo, Ogun etc. Kudos to BRF; 10MW in each of the 57 LGs and Lagos is lighted up. |
People are entitled to do whatever they like so long as it is kept a private matter. Once they start using the government to legislate/implement religious policies, then that crosses the ling. Yes to interest-free banking, no to Islamic/Sharia banking. You can make the interest-free banking essentially indistinguishable from Sharia banking, if you like. But the governing body controlling the rules for interest-banking must be entirely secular in nature.
I agree with you. As a secular state, religion must be separated from State. If Sanusi and his family wants to start interest free sharia banking, they can go ahead and register a bank after meeting all the requirements and not use Govt apparatus to legislate and tell us who is supposed to benefit. Afterall we have had 'Esusu' banking system in Nigeria for years without any CBN legislation or regulation. |
Since you too like money and not the NYSC slogan that encourages service to the community and humanity. I will suggest you get deployed to Bauchi State INEC; Where the Govt will pay your family You better listen to the poster below: shagaman: |
Steal money from inflated Govt contracts or from Govt coffers or from monopoly in some products like cement, salt etc. Partake in tax money collected from alcohol dealers, gambling companies; then take the money to interest free Sharia banking and Allah will forgive you for embezzlement of public funds or crudely acquired wealth. kai! walahi I dey confuse for all this ![]() |
After Tinubu don show am who is in charge of Southwest, OBJ is a masquerade who has danced for too long on the streets and needs to quit before small sidren (children) begin pour san san (sand) for him body. He will not quit politics, he wants to continue as Ambassador. Meanwhile is ambassadorial appointment not political? |
JTF bombard militant camp inn the Niger Delta from the air, marine and land searching for one militant commander. Amnesty: 800 killed in the North during post election violence including unarmed NYSC members (No JTF to intervene) 'Unknown' gunmen kill 25 and raze a village in Balewa LGA of Bauchi State (No JTF to capture the assailants) Several victims killed in Jos crisis (No STF to help rescue them even after a call was made to the commander) American NAVY donates Vietnam war era warship to Nigeria to patrol the Niger Delta creeks. John Togo dead/Alive, missing or arrested. Amnesty granted to militants by paying them salaries without doing any work, so that they would allow the expatriates to mine oil and gas without disturbance, no attempt to teach them how the oil is being mined for the past 50 years after independence unlike what Ghadafi did in Libya where Libyans have the ability to mine and refine their oil which has led NATO to bombard Tripoli in the name of 'protecting civilians'. Next the JTF will tell us the bombing is to protect civilians from the militants just like they protected the civilians in Odi and Okerenkoko. Its all about the oil. Thats why the PIB cannot be passed for the past 8 years now because Shell and Chevron feels its not in their favour. Rather than pass the Petroleum Industry Bill and make the people of the Niger Delta to benefit directly from the natural resources in their land, the Govt will rather bombard whole communities from the air, ground and sea and call press conferences. BTW, where is GEJ? He is on his way to Ivory Coast to give credence to the inauguration of French puppet Ouattara, he has refused to learn from his stoning in Uganda; perhaps this time they will throw a grenade at him in Cote'divore. |
nedu666:Yeah! you are correct. Somebody paid for that front page advert and we know their likes. The issue of positions is mostly about the psychological feeling it gives to the people holding that post, not really about the benefits to the country. The president can hire and fire the SGF anytime anyday, but he cant do that to the Speaker, VP SP, or party chairman. The SGF is not listed in the order of protocol which implies that in any ceremony, the MC will always say 'Your excellency the president and C-in-C of the Armed Forces of the FRN, Your excellency the VP of the FRN, Your Excellency the Senate President of the FRN, Your excellency the Speaker of the FRN, Your Excellency the Chairman of the biggest party in Africa PDP, Your Excellencies the governors of the 36 States of the Federation. (The SGF is mentioned along with the appointed ministers, Gentlemen and Ladies) |
I wonder what GEJ is doing at the inauguration of a dictator who has been in power for 25 years? He should have stayed away from such ceremony and send his envoy because of the current instability in that country than the embarrassment he has caused us with the loss of lives of Ugandans at the hands of GEJs Uganda guards. I hope he will not go to Ivory Coast on the 21st May for the swearing in of French installed Ouattara to avoid a worst scenario because many Ivorians are bitter with Nigeria for threatening to use force to remove Gbagbo which was accomplished by the French Licorne? Let GEJ be careful in his dealings with African dictators, the world is changing. Obama cannot visit even Egypt or Tunisia at this point rather he will send his Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. The office of the Secretary to the Federal Govt of Nigeria should be strengthened like that of America to avoid putting our president in harms way. |
mscheeww!! Domestic matter between a Gov and first lady and You are here getting headache over Oha-scam and wife. They will go on honeymoon in a yacht cruise to the pacific island of Hawaii and probably have good sex on board to settle there quarrel. Lets discuss national problems and leave this kind of story for City People and Hints magazine. |
aguiyi:Some of us thought that they oyimbos were on a rescue mission to Libya and Ivory Coast but now we know better. Thanks! At least you saw ahead!! ![]() |
k10:They are not in Libya to protect any civilian, just like in Cote'divore where thousands were massacred in Duekoue and the UN did not receive any distress call while destroying the country with heavy bombardment and telling the world they are doing it to protect African civilians from Gbagbo when actually it was Ouattara forces who were commiting genocide. NATO started a war in Libya leading to thousands migrating. Italy has being threatening to send the migrants who have landed in Lampedussa and dump them in other EU countries who are skeptical about the plan. So what they now do is to rock migrant boats and let the people die to discourage more Africans attempting to cross into Europe. Yesterday a boat carrying 600 Libyan and Somali migrants hit a 'ROCK' according to CNN and hundreds are reported missing and drowned. The problem is that the war in Libya has hit a stalemate and Russia is making it more difficult by stating that it would not allow any foreign boots on ground in Libya which is against UN resolution and the war is getting costlier by the day with rich EU nations like Germany not contributing to it. So the perceived way out is for NATO to steal Libyan Government frozen funds (which runs contrary to UN mandate) and proclaim to use same for humanitarian aid to the poorly motivated ragtag rebels made up mostly of Alqueda fighters (same group that US and NATO) has spent huge fortunes fighting for several years in the name of international anti-terrorism war. The US foresaw this situation and quickly pulled out after throwing some tomahawk missiles on Tripoli. French desperation is getting NATO into a very dangerous situation where they have lost a lot of trust after their incursion in Libya. Ghadafi was playing a big role by preventing migrants reaching Europe over the years by offering jobs to African migrants and sometimes detaining and deporting them to their countries of origin; but now that he is no longer doing that, the flood gates has opened and Africans are being left to die in open seas. The conflict in Libya is all about the oil, just like the massacre in Ivory Coast is about Cocoa. Just like Bob Marley once said, many will have to suffer, many more will have to die, dont ask me why!!! Except the oil dries up. Africans must start rejecting the kind of 'dirty democracy' being proposed by the former colonialists just like no country has become rich through IMF or World Bank loans. |
johnie:Too much talk talk. I worked in that plant (Alaoji) as a technical Adviser, and I have told the government that the EPC Contractor Rockson Engineering does not have the capability to deliver on such a huge turnkey project because there hands are full with too many power contracts. Even in America where i have worked a project of such magnitude will require at least 3,000 workers (both skilled and unskilled) working simultaneously; both what I saw on site four years ago and till date is just a paltry 250 workers who only work during sunlight on the open cycle plant not to mention the inactivity on the combined cycle phase. The turbines have been skidded on the foundations after the problem of crossing Imo River was solved at a huge sum, but the switch-yard is far from being ready; so how do you even evacuate any power generated? Our concern is not only on the integrity of the pipelines but on the turbines and generators which have been poorly preserved since the were imported into the country in 2005. Alaoji power plant should have been completed since 2007 and here we are today talking about gas pipeline measurement 12'', 18'', 24'' (absolutely disgusting). 1074MW Alaoji if the truth be told is three years away from commissioning at the pace the work is ongoing. The pipeline issue is just a gimmick to deceive Nigerians, I am on ground there and I can say it under my NL false ID unequivocally without fear but with a lot of frustration at how the people are being lied to. The power situation in the country with the current trend is far from being solved unless GEJ decides to face fact which he will find difficult to do at least in the next one year because the biggest contributors to his election campaign are contractors, manufacturers and consultants in the power sector where a bulk of the nations budget is being sunk without commensurate level of delivery. |
