If you don't get anyone here, you could use Money Tangle or First Transfer. They still do transfer to Nigeria. Omonjoe: |

Hmmm...you wanna come as a Visitor then change to being a student. I don't think that works for a visitor anymore because as a Visitor in Canada, you would have to go back to Nigeria to apply for Study permit. If you have US visa, you could go there to apply for the study permit though. If that is your intention ma! mzjennypher: |

It is the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) that a foreign Medical degree goes through for evaluation. You can check www.mcc.ca for full process (the process is longer than WES and co.). It will require registering on www.physiciansapply.ca. My wife is also a Medical doctor that has passed through this process. Here is the direct link: http://mcc.ca/repository/educational-credential-assessment/ platypelloid: |

Either email or CSE, they are both about inquiry. Making an inquiry on an application is not wrong but the time he did it was probably not worth it. matogbe: |

He intends to WITHDRAW his application. It is a dicey one based on his inquiry. This is why peeps need to be careful in making a CSE (especially if it has not passed NORMAL processing time). These guys have a lot of backlog and they see someone being impatient and asking to retrieve his/her passport, they got no choice than to help him/her out. They already stated the processing time on the website so why would you make a CSE in just over a month? This is Canadian and it is their style! matogbe: 1 Like |

No bro. You don't need the form for him to pay for you. You give him your login details and he would make the payment for you. Ethan45: |

Ok oo sir! If you live in Sask and say BC is very expensive and such conclude a taxi of 200$ is economical, well what can i say. I live in BC and expenses are not as expensive as you think compared to Alberta or others. Atleast a university (UNBC) in BC is cheaper than those in Sask. Gaskia!!! All i'm saying is he could explore other means of transportation at a cheaper rate. Shikena! princey83: |

If the school gives such ridiculous estimate, they probably got a share in a taxi company. Lol. Taxi is not the way bro and should not be the only option from Van airport. There should be airport shuttle with a fixed price or train. I'm not sure about the Accra system going on now. When i applied then, i only knew Accra as the capital of Ghana. Lol Other peeps that have gotten theirs during this 'Accra regime' might help give you an estimate. meekmk: |

They will not put a different name on her study permit, that i'm sure of. The name she used to apply (which is on her passport) is what will be used. She could, however, take a copy of her marriage certificate along. lekan282: |

GCMS is a document that shows the full details of a completed application (study, work permit etc). Approved or not. You can apply for it online or through paper. But it is faster (max 30 days) if a resident in Canada applies on your behalf. modulus30: |

As far as your visa is still valid and it is multiple entry (usually), you are good to go to Nigeria and come back before December 5. Take along your study permit too oo cos at your POE when coming back, those guys go ask for am. double08: 2 Likes |

Such person may not be able to study full time. The SOWP holder would have to apply for study permit thereby changing status to being a student. lekan282: |

Your spouse will need to write hers. Your IELTS result does not cover hers. I'm not sure WES evaluates certifications because i believe they evaluate degree/certificate or similar from only institutions. So if your certification is from a recognized institution outside Canada, WES could verify and evaluate it to Canadian standard. jideflows: |

Bro, i would advise that you combine your Masters (evaluated) degree and your PGD to get higher points. Since you do not have at least ONE year Canadian work experience yet, you may be qualified for the Federal Skilled Worker. You have a good number of foreign work experience and that would help to an extent. You may wanna go through a PNP to improve your points depending on the province you are currently. Omonjoe: |

If you wanna come to work, you can check this forum instead: https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/148#down Otherwise, you can search on Google for schools in Canada, as a start. azeezInfo: 1 Like |

To question 1, your first point of entry (first city) in Canada. In this case, Montreal. Hope you sabi speak French tho! Lol...#JustAdulting. [quote author=kylexy1 post=47478461]Hi everyone... please i have some questions.... At what point would a trv holder get his/ her study permit if he/ she uses a connecting flight and stops at montreal then to ottawa. Is it at the final destination or the point the person enters any canadian province? |

Lol...i guess both fathers have same surname too. Bros, will you present your birth certificates (yours and your 'uncle'/Cousin) to CIC ni? You could claim your own father as his father on one of the application forms that requires this. Afterall, it is only one father they wanna know (which is your father). This relationship is very similar to mine and that was what i did and besides my 'Uncle/Cousin' is way older that i am which would suggest that my dad probably gave birth to him when he was just 13 years old. Iyen tun nko? lol Ajayi4: 1 Like |

[quote author=Ajayi4 post=47476501] Bros, your uncle with same 'saw name' might as well be changed to your Brother (since you have same surname) and if the age gap between you two is not much. You could include a pix of both of you to show relationship (they will return ur pix back if you applied through paper route). At least those were what i did then. As per funding, it depends on how much your sponsor has for that since your salary account has no savings and your pension account of 300k 'might' not be sufficiently convincing for a VO. To be on a safer side, your sponsor's cash flow is important. 1 Like |

My people my people...lol...i'm not sure how Canada Post's strike go affect medical call or TRV approval. The lockout is probably starting on Monday (if they don't postpone it again). As far as they don't mail documents from here to all countries (embassies), i don't see how it will affect or how it has affected TRV processing. The lockout is definitely gonna affect peeps that applied for one thing or the other within Canada. #2CentsDropped 5 Likes |

Since your Masters and MBBS degrees are not from Canada, you will have to evaluate either of the two. I said either because both Masters level and Professional degree (MBBS) will give the same point. Evaluating MBBS will require you going through Medical Council of Canada and that takes way longer than evaluating Masters. Both of you can't apply separately because during your application, you will state your marital status (and you wouldn't wanna lie, my sister). So to me, all things being equal, you that is 32 have a upper hand to be the principal applicant. Both of you could evaluate your degrees so as to get more points and write the English test. teeoba: |

Oh yes! As far as you can provide the training certificate in your application. But i think the minimum education required is High school (Secondary school certificate). segbas: |
