I learnt a bitter lesson this year, my business was doing very well untill a closed friend of mine that I put in charge of one of the branches ran away with all my money.
It really hurts but I have no one to blame.
I'll advise people here, do away with anything friendship. See everyone in Nigeria as your enemies
Rule 1 in business, Don't delegate any business to your friends, family members or colleagues
Rule 2 Don't forget rule 1

Hello Everyone.
Please, I sincerely want to appeal to the good people of Nairaland to please help my younger brother who is an accountant get a job.
He was working with a firm but had to quit due to poor salary. His monthly earning is just what he spends on transportation due to the fuel increment, so he couldnt meet up. Please I appeal to all for help in order to avoid depression.
Thanks and God bless.

Alot o.. I really thank God. One of the best year ever.

I have a child, bought all the baby things & paid all hospital bills without begging or borrowing from anyone (we all know the cost of CS). I join a befitting naming ceremony celebration on top.

Bought a land right inside town, deposited 350k for blocks & will begin building next year. Ontop that, still paid for rent.

Bought another car!

Made some profitable investment.
I am privy to certain cost of the bolded in some hospital. The cheapest you would get now is 350k with abeg

First, I want to acknowledge my wife and daughter, they both made this year more bearable
I was able to take one of the wildest risk in the bid to chase my dreams.
It worked out to some extent at first, I made my first multiple millions this year, within the later part of the year, I lost 80% of my accumulated wealth already... Which pushed me into depression for a month and a half but I'm walking my way back to the top now... This year was alround the best for me and my family so far
But I'm thankful to God that my standard of living is increased highly and I'm able to take on more family responsibilities.
Life's been good and living it as a risk taker makes it more intriguing.

TravelRe: Canada Looks Like Isolation Camp - Nigerian Man Who Relocated To Canada Laments by Hamachi(f): 10:23pm On Nov 21, 2023
Nuzo1:
He’s a liar then.

If he’s complaining about the harsh cold weather or maybe the “tasteless’ food, I could give him a little pass. But expecting to meet a bunch of noisy and violent dudes playing monkey post football in the streets of a sane environment is not a culture shock. It’s stupidity.

Even in Nigeria, he can’t have that stupid luxury in some neighborhoods. It’s not culture shock in some of these Nigerian neighborhoods but all of a sudden, it’s culture shock as soon as he lands in Canada.

That was how I met one Lagos boy outside the country some years back and he was seriously lamenting on how he misses the chaotic Lagos over a very orderly environment. I just left him abruptly. I never talked to him again until I left the city. Rolling with those kinds of people will put you in trouble over there. Before you know, he will convince you to join him in setting up a monkey post in the middle of the street.

Look, their major problem is that they don’t have anyone to oppress over there.

Yeah sis... Thanks for your reaching out.

An online employer once told me a tax number was a major requirement before I could start working with her, so I had to go and register and get TIN. Later turned the offer down due to some reasons.

I wouldn't have bothered at all, but you know I got strictly changed after secondary school about 13 years ago—of which I almost passed away.

So, owing to God's command I've embraced taxing whether I like it or not. They told me back then that I would have come by the end of the year as it's once in a year.

I think I'll still to go and ask them for clarifications...

I'm grateful for life, mental health ( if you are in Nigeria and you still have good mental health) you owe God gratitude because you have to live ,work and move around frustrated, bitter, toxic, slimy, crafty and crazy people everyday.you need extra ordinary dose of patience to maintain your mental health amidst abnormal and semi normal people

I am grateful that God gave me good physical health. I am not at the mercy of any spiteful doctor that will behaving like he has the power of life and death

For food to eat and appetite to eat it,thank you.its God's endless mercy and grace

That I have a job and I'm not dependent on anybody before I can eat or pay my bills, that God didn't allow man to siregun in my life i.e if not for me, you won't be where you are thank God he didn't give anybody that justification

That I have a roof over my head. I acknowledge you jesus.thank you holy spirit. Temitope!! If you have a house and you don't have to receive insults before you can sleep you don't know what God has done for you. You can sleep, rest and eat in any part of your house.baba mi ose. Opeye Jesu

That I go to work and come back everyday on the road with psychotic and sociopaths driving on the road, thank you for keeping my journey everyday I go out and come in
Gbope olore

That God disappointed the devices of the crafty that they couldn't perform their wicked enterprise, hallelujah jesus.im grateful

For giving me empathetic and loving parents, for not allowing me to come to the world through irresponsible parents, thank you jesus, for giving me parents that didn't push me at a very vulnerable age to do househelp or go and live in any uncles house.you provided them with the resources to father and mother me and you put your love in their heart for me,thank you

For not giving me new generation parents that are totally self seeking and thoughtless, that don't think critically and careless about their kids when making decisions, thank you

For not giving me parasites, entitled men and women and leeches as siblings, thank you jesus.if you have entitled and ungrateful or envious siblings, you will know how to thank God when you have siblings who know how to love and respect space

Despite all the challenges in Nigeria, I was able to get a job + two remote jobs, a landed property & a car. Jesu e seun, daalu, Nagode
