katyamizotta: I will be celebrating my fourth year wedding anniversary in Febuary. I will be entertaining and giving testimoniees when in actual fact im highly dissatisfied and unhappy. Sex; almost three years im still waiting to have an orgasm. I began pretending to have one because i couldnt bear the pain (married as a virgin, months after losing it, i was still experiencing pain). Ive being giving oral since we got married. Recently i discovered women can also enjoy it. I told him about it and suddenly he remembers all the diseases that can be passed orally. Chores: i feel like a senior househelp. DH (dear husband) will complain abt untidy state of the house but will not help out (i work in a bank, 7am - 8pm) get home at 9pm. I'll come home from work, do homework for my daughter, serve husband meal (he wont eat except he is served) do outstanding chores. Sleep at 12am - 4.40am Kids; I feed, bathe, clothe, train. He has never bathed our 2yr old ever, even when i was ill. I had to take the child to work severally as he cant babysit for long. He works from home but goes out thrice a week for project supervision Criticism; its killing me. Im crticised abt everything. My looks (im pretty im told, my dad is Lebanese\Austrian, mum is igbo) but i dont makeup. Im criticised for that, for not being a good cook (im learning) for not keeping a tidy home (with my job?) For not entertaining his friends with food and drinks (im exhausted), for not liking his particular place of worship (i dont mind another branch, the present head makes the talks boring, for not being a fashionista. I dont feel loved. I feel like a trophy wife. The good side is he is generous. I get a car, change of wardobe, a vacation each year. These dont move me. I want to be heard. Ive tried to talk to him severally but he makes me seem ungrateful. Ive talked to his sisters and our head in the place of worship and when he was invited he denied it, didnt talk to me for three days and made me apologise for disrespecting him. I want to be heard. Am i asking for too much? Eeyah, so sorry. - Sex- so the man wants u to give him head bt can't reciprocate abi. Tell him those diseases he mentioned goes both ways. And u guys shld work more on ur fore-play till u're well aroused lubricated and relaxed so sex wld be less painful and more enjoyable. - Chores- av a discussion wt him, if he can't help out- he most likely wnt, cos he seems a selfish and narcisstic fellow, get a househelp since u can afford it. Don't get a female one tho, to avoid stories tht touch the heart since he is mostly at home. - Try and work on ur fashion sense to suit his taste, buy clothes u knw he'll like on u, use make-up since he likes it tht way. Look gud for him. - Find time to av a heart to heart talk wt him, tell him how u feel and hw his behaviour is killing u and making u unhappy. I hope this works sha, if it doesn't pls, concentrate on ur daughter and work, do not let a mere man be the determinant of ur happiness, not easy but possible. Perform ur own duties as a wife and mother and don't let his criticisms get to u |

AgbataObim: Cc Seun, Lalasticlala pls i need help a lot of folks to see this. It's obvious u're too proud even to ur mother. So u consider it imbecilic to help out ur mother? It's pple like u tht'll be bouncing doing big boy beside ur mum while she is carrying something heavy. I know it's painful being compared wt pple u knw u're better than, I'av been there, I sometimes get tempted to tell my mum to pray to God for such a child next time and leave me alone, but one's mother is one's mother, u can't change tht. It cld probably be more of her personality than anything fetish so don't capitalize on this. U shld be happy to help ur mother out wt things even b4 she asks. The meaning of the dream is simple- u will not amount to anything unless u give to ur mum the love, respect and care she deserves. The dream most likely has nothing to do wt her being fetish or not, don't blame her for ur misfortunes, that's ur destiny. As for ur hear problems get urself treated. Build a good relationship wt ur mum overlook the animosity and don't break family ties over a dream tht might just be due to ur own imaginations rather than real |

I had such wonderful roommates in my first year. Bunch of characters, our room was always lively except during exams when everyone scatters. We were 5 in no but one was fond of staying out late, she was the closest to me tho, we talked wt her, advice her and all, she didn't change, she'll come and be banging the door on her head at odd hours, the day my other roommates decided to teach her a lesson, we all heard her knocking but didn't ans, she called my phone repeatedly, she dared nt call my other roommates, I felt like going to open the door (Miss nice) but my other roommates had already warned me very well and I also kinda of supported their actions. Pple from other rooms came, knock and knock and knock we didn't open o, she had to sleep somewhere else, the next day she knew better than to stay out late. I can remember all the crazy days too, doing stupid make- ups, and dressing like weirdos. We were all Muslims too, so we always mop our floor well, so we cld pray anytime, so our room was like the only room in the hostel, u can't just barge into wt ur shoes on. I miss those crazy girls so much. I don't usually av problem wt roommates, I like to think I can live wt many personalities relatively peacefully. In sec sch tho, while I was in junior class, I resumed 2nd term so I was fixed wt seniors rather than my mates. And I was a confirmed sleepo, I can remember one nyt when a senior woke me up in the mid-nyt and told me it was time for dining, I grabbed my plate and was also trying to go out of the hostel b4 they pulled me back, they made fun of me ehn |

Family › Re: Why Do Nigerian Men Find It Difficult To Forgive A Cheating Wife? by HaneefahRN(f): 6:48pm On Jan 17, 2016 |
Mindfulness: I used to be very jealous when i was a little bit younger. I discovered that it was fear of abandonment and also some self-esteem issues I was having as young woman, which most young women have. I no longer suffer from the fear of abandonment and I am extremely self-confident, even to the point that people say I am a bit narcissistic and I sort of am so no I do not feel jealous anymore at all. It is a thing of the past. However, it was jealousy among other things that helped me become who I am today. Jealousy is not a nice feeling, it is nagging and poisonous, not only to the person feeling it but to relationships in general and I decided to get rid of it. And as with all things that I set my mind to accomplish, I succeeded and life has become much easier this way. I am now able to enjoy relationships in a way I was not able to before. Yh, I love this. Do u knw lots of women land in psychiatric hospitals as a result of finding out their partner is a cheat or probably has a child wt another woman? The motto is 'be prepared', u shld''t put so much trust in someone for tht person's inaction to weigh u down heavily. Not everyone is tht emotionally strong tho. I can remember a woman whose husband had died, their marriage had been a source of inspiration and lesson for many young couples, it was at the man's burial the wife of so many yrs got to know her husband who everyone saw as an epitome of a perfect husband had a child wt another woman as old as the first child of his first wife, pple expected her to break down and all, the woman just smiled went inside made herself a nice cup of tea wt bread and started eating. One shld''t make one's happiness dependent on another person, I'm working on this too, God help me |
Family › Re: Why Do Nigerian Men Find It Difficult To Forgive A Cheating Wife? by HaneefahRN(f): 6:32pm On Jan 17, 2016 |
Mindfulness: The question is why some women endure emotional and psychological trauma in the hands of their husbands? Becos the Society has conditioned them to. The responsibility of holding the home together, ensuring the marriage doesn't crash largely falls on the woman, pple are quick to blame women when the marriage fails, no one thinks of the man in the equation, the fault has to be on the woman. |

The emotional and psychological trauma some women go thru in the hands of insensitive husbands can't be endured by many men.
