There are conditions in Islam in which one can divorce wife or husband... A true muslim can't just wake up one day and divorce.

Like I said earlier, anybody who go into mathna without been just/fair or have the capability will surely give account of his actions to Almighty Allah. Almighty Allah has stated the conditions clearly and unambiguously, is now left for whoever want to engage in mathna to follow strictly.

Nobody is preaching that polygamy is compulsory in Islam, we all know is Sunnah which can only be practice by any man who feel he's capable.

You don't judge people by your mere assumption that they won't be able to satisfy their wives, because you are not in their shoes... even if the man is unable to be fair among his wives, leave the judgement for Almighty Allah.

my sister, don't do anything rash and don't leave ur home oo. Don't allow unexperienced youth here on nairaland advice u to do wrong. At a time like dis, you need to be more prayerful and take the devil headon spiritually. Your hubby isn't himself, he is obviously under a spell. Avoid any pity party, get close to God. Go on your knees, fast, pray till ur hubby is delivered cos it is not ordinary for him to just decide to leave a family he has built all dis years for dat lady. Madam if you take my advice, within two weeks you will have ur family back. A lady should be praying for a young man to marry her but if she intends to break a home den it means she has confidence in something. Avoid any confrontation with her.

Hi everyone, after what happened in my husband church on Sunday how he embarrassed me and his worker slapping me. I decided to consult his doctor friend to talk to him ,the only reason he gave the doctor is that the mistress saved his life when he wanted to kill him self because of a woman that died years ago in his church which left him confused then(I traveled with My last child when this incident happen) and the girl telling him not to kill him self is enough that the girl love him and that from that day he swear never to leave that girl nor let the girl feel bad in any situation.

He said that the girl is his life. so for me becoming pregnant is enough to make the girl feel bad so he now tries to defame me and make the girl happy.he suggested that the only solution that will bring peace to my family is me becoming friend with the said girl and serving her.and that I should beg the worker that I have forgiven him if I want him to accept me again.

Now the girl in question here is rude and proud. she insult me anyhow.she laughed at me now that am going through this with my hubby. today she saw me and started laughing that she must make me leave my home with my 5kids.

Now all am asking my self is how can I step so low to the extend of begging my husband mistress just for my husband to love me again. how can I befriend this witch of a girl. How can I worship this girl in my own house all to please my husband. A girl that saved my husband name with Baby m. Will that make me a peace seeker or a fool the more.will a reasonable woman do that?

First, let us agree that it is not right for any spouse (male or female) to assault the other spouse.... so, in this regard, the man is wrong.

But then, I can bet 100% that before they got married and after they did...and for a long time, they have been sharing the man's salary!
He pays House rent, NEPA bills,buy sfood in the house, e.t.c...I am sure he even financed a wedding!

So, he lost his job. Pity but the current economic climate means many have lost their job and many more will still do.
So, when he had a job, he assisted his wife to stand on her feet as well ... like most men do, for the 'rainy day".
[b]That is what marriage is all about, one spouse lifts the other spouse up, when he or she is down.

But what does this woman do when she got her own salary in December?
She holds to the money and even said "She wants to use it to go on vacation"!
Just imagine!! Vacation? ..when their are needs for the family and you know your husband is still job-hunting?

Let me ask all of you (and be honest): If it was this man that got his December salary when his wife has no job, no money and nothing to eat.... and he decides he will use it to go on vacation while she starves, what will you call the man? Wicked man, right?

But now, since it is being done by a woman, to her husband, it is acceptable!

You see the "double-standards" and wickedness that wives are subjecting their husbands to?
..and to think their are some men (women's wrapper" who dont think first before commenting, abusing the man?

Well, it will get to a time when men will no longer marry these women, its happening overseas already.

Pls I did not say that I am in support of what the man did,but d point is that FRUSTRATION can lead him to act such when in real sense,he don't know what he is doing.Also we don't know how two of them were living.Some women after their hubby is hundred percent open to them financially and it happen dat a slight challenges like joblessness take over d man and d same wife he is so open to started acting funny....,such can breed frustration and anger which d man may not even know when he mistakenly poured it on d wife.Encourage and always make ur hubby happy anything u see him in such condition.

On point!.The man is likely open to d wife and shares all he has with her,may be when d clock turned in negative direction and d man beccome jobless while d woman has a job and started acting funny like most women do.Definetly d man will be annoyed and frustration will set in.

Don't be quick to jump to conclusion. I'm sure the man has been sharing his salary the time that he worked with her but she as most women do when they start working especially when the man is temporarily jobless...they start acting up and seeing him as less of a man.
