Whenever I hear "navy officer", I always think of those navy guys with white white and white shoes. They also have gold coloured ranks on their shoulders.

But this one is not wearing any rank on the shoulder, though I can see white top. And I'm sure the trousers isn't white. So how is a naval officer?

"No man born of a woman can satisfy me on the bed. I can last for 1 day nonstop during sex. I have won many bets from men who believed that they are strong, we Placed bet on who will win but in the end, they got exhausted and ran for their lives.

Sometime ago, an American guy placed bet of $3,000, he vowed to kill me with sex. He came to Lagos and booked a hotel, the guy went 3 rounds.......

budaatum:
I do think there is a bit more of a process than this. After all, if the contract you gave me did say "no reason or explanation", I might have taken my expertise to your competitor. And we are many seeking damages. And it's these sort of cases that have formed our labour law, which currently is not generous enough since its missing:

⬛ One month for every year of service over five years.
I will only pay you what is due to you in lieu of notice. There are a plethora of cases around that principle sir.

So yes paying a month for every year of service doesn't preclude me from serving you that letter communicating my intention. It also does not mandate me to keep you in my employment against my will. My point is, an employer reserves a right to untie that bond subject to paying minimal amounts as may be agreed either in the terms of employment or as may be foisted by the labour laws but nothing more.

Business is run for profit. It is not about Atiku or anyone else. If there is no reason to keep paying outgoings including salaries and wages, then disengage and close the branch. There is no business called charity.

Angelfrost:
Actually, you do... There is something called Labour Laws, or employees' or workers' rights!!!

You don't just wake up and disengage your staff for no lawful or legal reasons...
Funny you. You actually could. If the employee believes it is not properly done, let them sue. However note that there is no law that can force a willing employee on an unwilling employer. At best they can get paid damages and even at that, it will only happen if the legal department of the employer is not strong or the HR function did not carry them along.

Simple. if you need to sack anyone just say, your services are no longer required. Provide no reason or explanation. There is no law against that language, tested and proven.

Perhaps a better word is "personalized"

Whatever the term used, it simply means you fork out about 250k to request that an inscription of your choice be provided as your vehicle number. (eg. HACKER - 1) instead of EKY 234 GS which they would have ordinarily provided in the course of new numbers generation.

I understand, but check a situation out.

Let’s say you have 10m in your bank account today and you REALLY REALLY wish to drive a Benz(I MEAN THOSE MONEY YOU WILL SPEND WITHOUT THINKING TWICE NO MATTER WHAT). You can still opt for 3m Benz just to be safe.

Ok. You are my friend, you just bought Benz of 3m, in this Nigeria economy. I know you don’t have only 3m, I will predict you having 5m(not to exaggerate)...

But after buying the car if you go lowest key and let 1 or 2 people know you are broke. (I mean having people buy fuel in the new Benz)Mehn believe me everybody will believe you are broke..

What OP is trying to say is that those homeboys are broke and they are driving big cars forming big boys. You need to stay under the same roof with anyone before concluding they are broke.

So to answer own questions , IF YOU DONT ACT BROKE IN NIGERIA THEY WILL DRAIN YOU ....

owukpa:
For the third time since the beginning of the lockdown announced by the federal government to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country, Dunamis International Gospel Centre has donated food items to its members and other people to cushion the effect of the stay-at-home order.

Distributing the third batch of the items on Wednesday at Dunamis Lord’s Garden, Airport Road Abuja, the Senior Pastors of DIGC, Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky-Paul Enenche, admitted that they were not unaware of the effect of the ongoing lockdown on residents of the federal capital and other parts of the country.

The clerics said the gesture was done reach out to those who could not afford food items amid the pandemic.

Dr. Enenche said Wednesday’s distribution was the time the church would be reaching out to people, irrespective of religion or denomination since the lockdown, which he often refer to as ‘open up’ began.

He assured that the ministry would continue to reach out to the less privileged and the venerable.

IDOMA VOICE observed that among items distributed were: hundreds of bags of rice, cartoons of noodles, detergents, vegetable oil, tuber of yam, running into hundreds of thousands and other food items.

Also speaking, Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche urged the people to continue to observe all precautionary measure advised by medical expert, assuring that the pandemic would soon be a thing of the past.
