Nigerians!! I hail una oooo. You don't kick a man who is already on the floor. Abi e no dey work 4 we country? I am not saying you give him a banquet table but at least understand his situation. He is hurting deeply and needs to vent. We can't take all he said and began to make him feel like he ain't doing enough. And who says Nigerian don't owe its citizens? why do we then pay tax and other social amenities bill? They might not owe us all but they owe us something. Teachers that are paid to teach owe the students and the authorities that employed them a duty so bro. Govt owe us well well. We can work on our minds so we don't expect too much but they sure d owe us something.

Besides, this guy just spoke the minds of millions that are hurting. It's a really baaaaaaad situation. A country that has a larger population of his active youth idle, Na crime go plenty pass because you end up with people who are angry and frustrated and they begin to fight everything and everybody.

My sincere advice to you dumeje. please calm down. pick up a job, any job at all to keep busy. I am a graduate but teaching and collecting N15,000. Did I tell you I worked in the bank but downsizing affected me? Since yesterday, I have wept out my eyes. I cried bro. I think my matter cry tire. But then at all at all na winch. So just get BUSY. Crime has its own down side. I also make liquid soap to sell in one village market here in Abuja. How much I dey sell?
But how I go do? I still applied for FIRS and the rest. All na the spirit of not giving up. No be only you ooo.

A lot of youths are in your shoes. Angry at their society. I pray we put this situation under control before it worsens. Guy. you don't have any iota of crime instinct in you. Nobody does crime and announces it like you do. You spoke from a place of hurt. dazzol.

Hang on. Keep praying and keep believing and just do what your hands can find. profstar. well said.
I suddenly feel pity for the op, and i like your spirit. God or Allah whoever you believe in will lift you beyond your imaginations. Enemies will stand aside and marvel at your transformation. I like your type.

Dumeje:
I think today makes it exactly six years I graduated from a state owned university somewhere here in Nigeria with a fairly good result. After so many application and numerous interviews, I am yet to get a job.

I think it is high time I delve into crime, or worse still money rituals. Please do not give me all those sanctimonous talk about '' God will do it'' '' be patience'' ''hustle hard'' ' 'self employment'' ''start up'' and all those bullshit.

Heaven knows I have tried my best. I have gone into start ups that failed eventually due to the Nigerian factor. I have involved myslef in careers that are below my qualification; I have sold rat poison; I have done cleaning/sanitaion jobs; I have hawked wares etc etc etc.

I am the only male child of my family. I need to cater for my family. I am not getting younger also, I need to plan for my own life too. IT IS HIGH TIME I LEAVE THE LEGITIMATE AND GO INTO THE ILLEGITIMATE
All the best bro. Crime pays until you are caught.

While at it, make sure you succeed, it takes a smart guy to succeed in crime and you don't sound particularly smart to me. Enjoy your freedom while it lasts.

Ecobank sacked top management staff. Sacked AGMs, GMs, SMs. If you are not productive then you have to go.

I remember when I worked in a bank and sat in on some of these performance appraisals. You will see people that have worked for years without promotion because they were not meeting targets. Some don't even bring in their total cost at the year end. Should they still be kept? When they are sacked, they will start to say that they worked for years and were terminated just like that. Have you ever heard anyone that said they were sacked for being unproductive?
Thumbs up.well said

You work in a bank?

I was referring to the general perception that senior level staff don't do much in organisations. That's wrong. The amount of paper work they deal with in a week is high. Planning, budgeting, administrating among others. You don't know until you get to that position.
My brother you have to be in Management to understand what being executive management entails. Thank you for that input. Without an effective management team, the millions of junior staff would not even have a clue of how to manage their day to day job function let alone knowing articulating and deploying to the strategic direction of the company.

Junior staff work is mostly routine and directed, at the management level it strategic and supervisory.

Lol...a brother and uncle that are both privates.

I am ashamed on your behalf. I am not getting your father involved because your status and those of your relations at the lowest levels in whatever you claim they are doing is a clear indication of your family's success or lack of it. I will leave it at that. I blame the Internet not you. In a real world, our paths will never cross, NEVER.

Sorry did you say jealous of others?

Sorry.

The only toe he stepped on is the fact that he is struggling and getting results. Those thieves will probably not agree to wake up early to train or do a road-walk out to prime them ready for similar opportunities. When some other guy works hard to make it, idiets will be lurking around to steal from him and some dull heads will interpret it as stepping on toes.

Their job is to look into the viability of his ideas, funding sources and when returns are to be expected as well as the effect of the decision on his investors.

With all your knowledge in investment, you think a business owner scans the markets, carries out feasibility studies, does the SWAT analyses, comes up with market analysis and then draws up a business and marketing plan.

Ok. I guess the business you are talking about is iya fausat eatery.

What do you think the business heads and leaders in executive management do? So Dangote just wakes up and invests in whatever he chooses, ?

An incident at an airport really put me off.

This one time I was traveling by a certain airline - lets call it Amirates. My flight was going to be more than 24 hours, so lets just say I was very comfortably dressed. Now I enter the airport and started walking towards the business class queue to check in my luggage. One of the staff members approaches me and tells me please join another line - the one for Economy Class passengers. I wouldn’t have had an issue but I had paid for this ticket and I did not find that reasonable. I let him know that I was heading to the correct queue. He asked me to show my ticket. I did. He says he’s sorry, puts on those happy faces, says a thing or two and tells me to have a pleasant flight.

While this might not be a big deal, I really felt bad that how people have this biased perspective on how rich and successful people are supposed to look and behave and would not accept that looks do not define a person.
Bros it happened to me severally. My orderly allowed to pass and i am shielded off. They only apologise when my orderly raises hell about his boss. Same with my driver too. As a policy, i travel and move around incognito and the average nigerian sees and identifies size and dressing. I go to the airport dressed in shorts, almost always. I always receive apologies and fawnings before i board. I love the fact that I always laugh last.

I was going thru my uncle's shelf- who is in his easy 70's. I came across a further maths question paper which one of his sons who is now a medical doctor took back then in the 90's. They were given 2hrs to answer 8 questions from 10 with the usual part A and B. All the questions were tough but this particular question was off the chart! You mean this kan question for 15mins?

A particle moves along a straight line with an acceleration of 16cos(4t)cms-2, where t(s) is the time which has elapsed since the particle was at a given point 0 in the line. If the velocity of the particle at 0 was 2cms-1. Find;

(A) An expression for the distance Xcm of the particle from 0 at time t(s)
(B) the times after which the particle comes to rest, expressing your answers in terms of pi.

I would be glad if someone will help me to solve it...mehn..I feel for those kids o.
I timed myself and i solved it in 6 minutes.
