I have never had this level of laughter in a long long while with eyes real wet. Thank God i use an enclosed office. The questions appeared tasking enough but the answers from respondents just got me laughing rather stupidly.
In reality if you were to ask me any of those questions, i will just smile and thank you for the opportunity to be interviewed and confirm my expectation that you revert to me in my area of specialization if you think we should continue having a discussion on the prospective job offer. |

VOICEOFTHEMASES: THEY STOLE HIS JOB, AND GAVE HIM BULLETS.
Below this post are the bullet ridden body of Comrade Ugonna Omeronye and another picture of this murdered handsome and vibrant youth. Ugoo was killed few hours to the commencement of last Saturday's gubernatorial and State House of Assembly Election. Ugoo was until his death the chief campaigner for the restoration of the 10,000 jobs scheme; a job scheme that was initiated by the Ikedi Ohakim government, in which over ten thousand Imo young graduates were offered jobs into the Imo State Civil service, about five thousand of them were injected into the Imo State school system to reinvigorate our educational system and guarantee qualitative education for our children, while providing a secured and well paying jobs for our teeming graduates. The Imo 10,000 job scheme is a signature project of ex-Governor Ikedi Ohakim, and is acclaimed across the Federation as the most transparent recruitment exercise embarked upon by any State Government. It is curious that the incumbent Governor who cruised to electoral victory in 2011 on huge promises of providing good education for our children and 'rescuing' our State sacked these 10,000 jobs beneficiaries without any genuine reason. Okorocha's only reason on the 6th of June when he made that tragic broadcast was that, the State cannot afford to absorb such number of staff into its work force. However, the same Governor Okorocha has gone ahead to boast about 'ENGAGING' 25,000 youths in his crappy 'Youth Must Work' comedy. Late Comrade Ugonna Omeronye who hailed from Akatta in Oru East LGA of the State was a virulent critic of the Okorocha government. Having succeeded in extracting a commitment from the PDP that its government will recall the beneficiaries of the 10,000 jobs scheme, Ugoo was at the forefront of campaigns for the election of a PDP government in the State. Few hours before he was mauled down by the assassin's bullets, Ugoo sent out bulk text messages to all the 10,000 jobs beneficiaries, reminding them that a vote for the PDP is a vote for the recovery of their jobs and a guarantee of a safer future for them and their family members. With allegations of desperate rigging and manipulations trailing the inconclusive governorship election in the State, will it not be safe to point our fingers to certain directions in our investigation of this murder. The same Oru East, where Ugoo hailed from is the same LGA where "the INEC- Electoral Officer, Mrs. Emmanuela Okpara confessed that she was kidnapped and taken to a secret location by the agents of the APC candidate, where she was forced at gunpoint to enter fictitious figures." Ugoo's spirit shall not rest, until those connected in anyway to his gruesome murder have been found and brought to book. IMO GA ADI MMA OZO Ok. |

You learn a (f) moniker is probably a male guy pretending to be female.
You discover some attention-seeking stunts by some group of persons also known as Trolls. I agree with you especially on the mods ban. Sometimes for inexplicable reasons. I also agree with you on the f moniker. And when you address the person as a lady she gets angry and reminds you he is a guy. Its a place to kill boredom and generally fight, even if for no reason. It is also a place i have seen hatred amongst tribes, the type you cannot even find on the streets. LasoulMacuby: Ambode should even send all igbos in Lagos back to their States of origin when he becomes governor. Haba! A very selfish, greedy and bias set of people. I wonder why all the development they claim to take to other states cannot be seen in their own States. So far as I can tell even for the next 50 years, no state in the East can be as developed as Lagos, they actually brought the idiom of "no man's land". Flush them all out The question you should now ask yourself is must you stay in Lagos? It's simply means you can't afford to loose what you are gaining from the Yoruba land, else with all your complaint about the high rate of tax, you would have relocated a long time ago If you are smart by half you will realize that companies employ you and retain you where your services are most needed. And incorporated companies are federal government citizens. I hope your doltic brain can assimilate that. What it therefore means is that i can work wherever my company requires me to in this country. Which is why i move round from abuja to ph to calabar to owerri . It is amazing you did not see the point i was making about contributing tax money to the state. You all are blinded by tbe fact we are doing well here. Even if i were to leave Lagos, you dont have as an individual what it takes to take over my job. So what is your headache? |

That figure does not include off payroll bonuses paid across the year. But i hope you noted my point. It is not about what i earn but my contribution on a monthly basis to my society. |

seunfly: Who is tribal here? Ambode or Agbaje?
Can you allow such madness in your place? Chris Ingige lost senate presidency position not because he incited Yoruba against Igbo or he embarrassed any eze or he claimed anambra for Yoruba, but because he belongs to a party they did not believed in. What would have happened to him if he does what Agbaje did. The same Ingige incedence is happening to rochas.
I think Yorubas has tried enough for non_Yorubas in their land, they voted for Igbo federal house of rep, choose igbos as commissioners in strategic position and paid school fees, medical bills and so many things we don't even know. Yet you turn against the same people because of jonathan's loss.
In Osun, Akwa ibom woman won house of rep not because she a Yoruba woman, same thing with Igbo man made commissioner in kwara state during Muhammed lawal's term not because they are more than 10% but they are humbly part and parcel of the society, people appreciates their contribution and love them. But if they want to force them self on them and flex mustle in their own land who will tolerate that nonsense. Such attitude causes self awareness and reaccessment for a care free society and it breeds hostility. Lagos did this Lagos did that. Is it for free? The tax i pay will probaby pay you 2months salary at a go. At a tax rate of 24% I pay about N300k tax per month. I do not know where else that figure gets paid in Nigeria at my level. So just shut up. Lagos has done nothing for anybody. Everybody in Lagos is contributing to make Lahos whT is is. We are even feeding your omoniles and motor park touts when we park our cars and pay them between N400 and N500 per hour. Tell me in one sentence what Lagos has done for me. I buy your land at cut throat with my money. I settle multiple families in the name of omoniles. I employ your wretched azz brothers to work on the project. I pay my taxes and use the facilities arising out of my money. I work for annorganized private sector company and report to a non yoruba MD but have 3 yorubas reporting directly to me and quite a few others across the function reporting to me too both igbos, yorubas and other Nigerians. We treat each other with mutual respect. Pray what exactly has yoruba land done for me as a favour? |

You should be grateful that the Yorubas allowed you to live in Lagos. You should be grateful that they allowed you to work in Lagos. You should be grateful that they allowed you spend your money in Lagos. You should be grateful that they allowed you breathe Lagos air. You should be grateful that they allowed you listen to their noise. You should be grateful for the accommodation that Yorubas gave you. You just defined balderdash. I have them in my state and i never for once thought i was doing them a favour. Infact my house in the villa was completely tiled by a yoruba guy. I respect his hardwork and sincerety. I treat him as a human and a Nigerian. Are you guys this backward? If you think this way in Nigeria that we all own why would it be possible for me to buy land and build in Ghana? a project which is currently ongoing? Like i said, every bit of trash you mentioned out there was paid for. I plan on having yorubas as my tenants soon. Live with it, our relationship is symbiotic. I even date your girls and they are happy because the relationship is mutual. Grow up boy. Let me add for good measure that as i type this i am drinking beer in a yoruba owned shop and i am paying. chrisbaba1: I don't mean to be tribalistic... But on a real I think its time Yoruba let igbos understand (non violently) that they are accommodated in lagos does not mean they own it... This is the sad transition igbos have gradually forged us to take because of the impunity of many towards the yorubas, our land and culture.... That welcoming accomodating host nonesense has to be re-evaluated to preserve our identity as they preserve theirs every where in the east....... If regards of our land nd culture won't be given then why remain so tolerant? I find it incomprehensible the way you guys keep talking about this hist community thingy. I bring my money. I buy your land. I settle omonile. I build my house. I pay my tax. I work for my employer. I drive on givernment built roads. I pay road taxes and remain law abiding to the state. so what exactly is Lagos doing for me. The average yoruba person in the east does the same. So what is it about host and visitor. And how has the Lagosian helped me differently. I even have three of them working under me directly and a few others reporting to me. We have mutual respect for each other. I am struggling to understand how non igbos are benefitting igbos and vice versa. |
