I can wait for us to drink together, but as for food, I may not eat at all in a day, so waiting for me will amount to starvation.

DailyNews: I never knew there are people who reason like me, thank God cos at a point I was thinking that I am being too different, don't watch TV...especially movies, only listen to news, and some celebrity gist for purposes...our censorship angency must do something about this because we are destroying the future of Nigeria and the unborn children. All these are increasing the rate of infidelity amongst married couples and dating lovers.
So it is music video that has led to so much adultery and fornication abi? So where is aboki without light or Telly but always clutching a transistor pick up the habit? They commit multiple adultery and child abuse, are they watching R. Kelly? Truth be told, people will be bad if they want to be bad, music video or no music video

With your level of written English, I am not surprised that people around you think you have done so well, you must be sandwiched among mediocres. Having said that, where I stay and even my immediate family have rolled out so many professionals and professors that no one will bat an eye lid at the fact that you just managed a first degree. As I write, I have two masters degrees but the only thing that counts for me is the fact they seem to notice I am fairly successful as a lawyer and at my age. Bottom-line is, distinguish yourself and people will celebrate you, acquisition of first degree stopped being a big deal years back. Every family has at least one graduate, so what da phock are you yapping about. I am so incensed now. Mtchewwwwwww

It's been stress all the way, driving home has been bad. I had a bad tyre and managed to get to Asaba, from Asaba I eventually got to my villa. While drinking with my boys at about 11pm I was asked to come and see a cousin supposedly having convulsion, it turned out she was sick and shivering, I drove her to the hospital and deposited 17.5k for treatment, again my elder bros called me on 25th night at about 8pm to say his car had messed up on his way home, I had to do the 2hours trip to go and carry him and his family. Now I am scared because I do not know the next challenge that will be thrown at me today and going forward

We were like supposed to have a night out, I had too much to drink and my state turned to a depressant instead of aphrodisiac which moderate drink will induce.I crashed in the bed believing I will knack after, I slept and woke up at past 9am when the babe was showering and she just asked me to please come and drop her off. I did not ask her out again for a long while, but when next I did, I made up for the events of that previous night. Shiite happens.

Car Talk › Re: Why Are Cotonuo Cars Very Cheap? by hardbody: 8:12pm On Dec 24, 2012
I want to dispel some rumors here which I believe is being fueled by car marketers from the US. I bought my first car, a mercedes benz from Cotonou in year 2000. I saw the customs papers and knew they were fake, I had asked around in Lagos and got a price differential of about 80k between those shipped in through Lagos and the one I got from Cotonou. That benz is still fit and working in a perfect condition, infect, my cousin I gave it to is hitting the villa with it tomorrow.

My point? You can buy a good car from Cotonou, the papers may very likely be fake, however, once the car has landed my doorstep, I have no business with customs, this because the law does not empower anyone to ask me for more than motor insurance, car license and my drivers licence and those are all I present to anyone asking for particulars, and those ones are always genuine.

If I was still driving Tokunbo cars, I will still be buying from Cotonou, simple.
Car Talk › Re: How To Have Fun On A Road Trip by hardbody: 5:23pm On Dec 23, 2012
Thanks for the reminders. I always apply most of the points stated. Infect, as a matter of course, in the past couple of years, I have perfected the strategy of sleeping in a hotel at Asaba and passing through onitsha early next day to avoid the unpleasant traffic situation. As I type, I am in my hotel room, I stopped to buy another tyre as I got into asaba from just before ore with my spare. I drive for that long visit very prepared for all manner of eventualities.

I am detribalized. I see individuals and people not tribes or a group of people from any geographical divide. I respect you for who you are and what you have to offer. I am Igbo by the way, but my friendship cuts across the entire geographical entity called Nigeria. People are either good or bad based on their orientation. I judge none and give to all their fair due.

Fredrick909: Hi Guys the much anticipated day/date 21-12-2012. is finally here. The day the ancient Mayans predicted the world will end(DOOMSDAY) So what do you guys think will the world still end today or not. ? Share your opinion.
please research this claim well. The Mayans never claimed the world will end today, by their claculation, today marks a specific time frame from creation and another calendar starts off from tomorrow, much the same way your gregorian calendar rounds off on the 31st of December. People just make too much ado about everything.

For further clarifications please read http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/mayan.html

I for one did not think it was hence I did not comment. People should think beyond the ordinary. I only wanted to ask how come the entire thing appeared so primed and stage managed that people could not see through it. Again, I am justified in thinking that a lotta people are dummies
Politics › Re: Are All Nigerian Leaders Corrupt? by hardbody: 6:19pm On Dec 20, 2012
ffo: I have been wondering about this for a while. We Nigerians have this perception about our leaders, that they are corrupt and selfish, but i feel there should be at least some of them who are clean or righteous. I know according to recent statistics, an average Nigerian is label "corrupt", also i am aware that Nigeria ranks among the most corrupt nations in the world. But i still believe that there are few Nigerians who are not corrupt, some Governors, ministers, President, senators, honourables, commissioners, Head of parastatals/agencies, DGs or even LG chairmen or counselors who may not be corrupt.

Fellow Nairanders, I want to know your opinion on this!
YES, There are all CORRUPT. Well let's say they are all epitome of corruption or better still, corruption personified.

Gozzzy: That is bulldung!!!! In developed countries like the US, fireworks are legalised for festivities like xmas!!!! Why is Nigerian police, so annoyingly backward and archaic!!!
Abeg make i hear word. Here in Lagos, particularly in VGC, a day is designated when all residents of the estate meet up at a large playground and you can bang as much as you like. After then, you are not allowed, and truth be told, with these bangers, it becomes difficult to identify the toy guns that those boys use in terrorrizing people in their neighbourhoods. I have this guy that throws 'bomb' in the name of banger, and for the sake of such massive detonations, it should be seriously restricted so we know when BH is attacking and when 'fine boys' are obtaining.

In this era of mishaps, why people still dey fly from short distances such as Ilorin to Lagos. I am not so certain, but i am almost sure i can do that distance in 3 hours at regular driving. ANyways, i thank God for their lives.
