pekelepekele: No be Nigeria again? Na wash!!! . Dem don kill Mustapha ni?
I do not know what to do or think of hopelessly pessemistic twarts like you. Earlier on folks in here were blabbing that nothing will happen at the court of appeal. Now the Court has affirmed the judgment of the lower court, the next argument you throw is what?

For your knowledge, justice must take its cause. it is better for 9 guilty men to go free than for a single innocent man to be killed, that is the law. Besides, he still has a right of appeal to the supreme court, the process takes time, and while that may be happening 'ignoramuses'like you will start yarning dust again.

For whatever it is worth, i still believe in the Judiciary as the last hope of the common man. And unfortunately, i still believe in Nigeria

I haven't heard much about him before now. That says a lot about his antecedents. However I wish him the best in a bank that is waiting to be pushed into a hole. I will not make that move if i was in his shoe. A merger may see him thrown out again and experience has shown that at some level, getting jobs that match your last criteria aren't always easy but very possible. Congrats all the same.

How about they allow you beat her up and probably give her a black eye (you claim to be 7 years older than her so you should be more experienced in fights and stronger). After that epic fight which i suppose you will win, she will learn not to pick your things and you would have earned her not calling you by your first name. Nothing resolves issues quicker than a good and thorough beatdown, i am telling you from experience. Either ways, if she beats you up, she will be including your surname when calling you, so better be careful.

Training is not part of the job...how do you mean?[/quote]Oga, pre-employment training is not part of the job. You get employed when you have been given an offer letter and you duly accepted the offer on the terms contained in the letter. If you are trained thereafter, you should expect a full salary. Where training precedes final selection, it is not part of the job. Your friend should go and thank Dangote for spicing his sorry life....an acclaimed graduate wanting to be a truck driver.

As has been said elsewhere, there are banks that train pre-employment and after that tests are taken, those who are unsuccessful walk away with nothing other than the food, water and lessons learnt in the course of the training. Can you guys just get it into your heads that you must work, add value to get rewarded?

emachine: @ deenee and violent, there is an adage that says" he who wears the shoe knows where it is paining him". Its not all about d feeding, accomodation and luxury expenses or having to work for dangote, 30k for 3 months. Dats too poor. I wish u r here to see wat is happening, then u will understand wat i am saying.
Shut up and get out. A guy accommodates you, feeds you, takes care of other ancilliary stuff and gives you N10k as pocket money and you are complaining. How much were you making sitting at home and eating your parents sweat? Has he recruited you yet? You can only legitimately complain if you are on his pay roll and he is not paying you what you signed off in the offer letter. At any rate, are you aware that people are picking all their bills and going to work and they are being owed months of wages? What kind of people are you sef? i am so angry with you.Have you ever heard that cliche....if the kitchen is hot.....(complete it)
Politics › Re: Panic In Presidency Over Mounting Tension In Military - Talk Of Mutiny? by hardbody: 10:59am On Jan 31, 2013
God have pity on our enemies because we wont when the chips are down.I do not know how military promotions and hierarchy has become such a national issue. I for one had since clamoured that the military should take over the reins of government but those lilly livered cowards kept claiming that the military is no longer interested in governance. So why have they suddenly woken up? if they want to have a mutiny in their barracks, they are welcome. 1966 has come and gone, we are all the wiser and for those croaking in here, the games have long since changed, it wount be a war to be fought in Biafra or Igbo enclave, you will have Boko Haram to deal with, MEND (with the recent Okar's conviction) and all other factions seeking for relevance. One bomb detonated on 3rd mainland bridge and another at Balogun will teach you guys how not to blab.

chrisxxx: If NFF can tell an obvious lie how are we sure that Keshi is the coach of Super Eagles?
My doubt is based on the premise that same NFF that sacked Siasia based on contractual breach is changing goal post in the the middle of the game that Keshi's performance in SA will not be a yardstick to evaluate his quality. Meanwhile his contractual terms obviously implies and hinges on a set level of performance.
I am seeing the NFF as the coach with Keshi just a representative or a camouflage with the remuneration of the coach shared among themselves. This is the case. With or without success Keshi remains the coach inasmuch as the sharing status quo remains.
Crooks everywhere.
Good morning this evening. So you are just comming to terms with the fact that Keshi has been planted there just to share money with NFF members? I never believed for once that Keshi has technical depth more than Siasia and i also believe very strongly that Sia1 lost out because he refused to agree to any sharing formula with NFF while also trying hard to instil discipline in the team.

Odemwingie is not playing today because he refused to pay Keshi. It is a terribly corrupt NFF, taking from a more terribly corrupt nation where criminals who admit to stealing 23billion are given option of fine of 750million. The rest is history.

But for patriotism and the love of the game, i would be praying and fasting for a humiliating and embarrassing goal line on Sunday against Nigeria.

I wont touch any Hyundai with a 10 foot pole. My Tucson is still working fine, but I don't have the same level of trust that I have had with other brands. And the silly elevated car was bought at the price of N4.7m about 4years ago. I regret that choice.

Insanity: Wow! Nice Thread.
Been smoking since Feb 2006. i smoke approx 10 sticks/day and i don't drink. i've tried stopping once but 9days was all i could endure. I enjoy smoking while reading, i guess that's why i graduated with a good result...ℓoℓ.
I've heard of the nicotine gum that helps during the withdrawal period, how and where do i get the gum?
What of cannabis? i think it has the same effect on the lungs as the cigrattes...considering the fact that you inhale n exhale smoke in both cases. Anyone with a different idea should let me know.

#SaveTheLungs!
Guy cannabis is lots better than cigarettes, I do not have a scientific proof though
Health › Re: Stopped Smoking? How Did You Manage It? by hardbody: 3:28pm On Jan 17, 2013
Just stop if you feel the need to. As for my belief, a guy has got to die of something, if nicotine be the cause, so be it. I still smoke and harbor no immediate plans of stopping. I have uncles that smoked and are upwards of 70 and 80 years, so what the heck? People die everyday either in road accidents, plane crashes, buildings coming down on them, tsunamis, etc.....were they all smokers? Abegi make I hear word. I stop and start when I choose and will put a final stop to it when I decide.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Warns Against Another Civil War! by hardbody: 7:51am On Jan 17, 2013
There will be no war in Nigeria, ever again. The reason is simple. Those causing us all these troubles are the political elites and in the event anything starts happening, those same people will be the first to jet out so who will be fighting whom? The average Nigerian, forget about the bigots in this forum, has since realized that our problems are being caused and orchestrated by our leaders and fighting against ourselves will never solve the problem of self inflicted poverty by a nation too rich not to be poor. OBJ and his type are fanning embers of war, testing the waters to know what people think so that when the dust settles down, they will start another level of oppression, that will not happen, our mumu don do. If they wanna fight, let them start and lead then the rest of us will follow behind them, the reverse will not work again, not in this country.
Romance › Re: Can You Date Your Ex Again by hardbody: 7:34am On Jan 17, 2013
I took time to read through all the posts on this thread. Ladies mostly, with a few exceptions responded in the negative without however considering or providing basis for their considered opinion. Quite a few guys also went the way of the ladies. In my opinion, whether or not to go back to an Ex is dependent mostly on what led to the Ex-ing. Immaturity and temperament can lead to decisions which when we reflect on them, we wish we had acted differently. Such a circumstance will lead to a going back, given a second chance. However, where there was a glaring irreconcilable difference and perhaps physical abuses, chances exist that parties may not come together again.

As for me, there is no ex I would not go back to because in most of the instances, I just move on without any reason, so when they choose to have me back, I am always available to them, no love lost at all. None of them is ever a vomit, I will always take them back and treat them well.

Sports › Re: Nations Cup: It’s Trophy Or Nothing, Chief Mike Umeh's wish. by hardbody: 12:25pm On Jan 14, 2013
I thought the initial mandate was for him to get to the semis. Why are we as a nation always changing goal posts at every opportunity? I do agree that nothing short of the cup should suffice but the fact is we should have spelt that out from the onset. Anyways, when the games start, we will see the build up, compare with other teams on ground and then make meaningful deductions as to how soon they are coming home. Keshi never tripped me as a good coach by the way. For my patriotic sake, I will keep praying for them.

I take it that fuel is either of petrol or diesel. My take is that the fuel gauge is faulty, else I am constrained to call him a liar. I am a Christian too, but these supposed men of God take these things to the extreme. It is simply not correct to lay such a claim.
