EducationLAUTECH: Let The Voices Be Heard! #LautechMustReopen by Hardeysolution(op): 8:38am On Oct 18, 2016
it's been disgusting and uncalled for as Lautech is still not reopened after four months. The students are at home not sure of what will happen next. Will they even resume today? Some have gone into learning a trade while some, majorly in year 1 may result into changing school.
Despite this, the Lautech authority still released admission list and called for payment of fees by admitted students. The question is, will they resume?

It's time we all go against bad treatment by State governors and unnecessary strike by State workers. Workers could Go on strike, but why not before it generated to months arrears?

Lautech students are crying.. .
Admitted students are crossing fingers.
.
Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola, please hear our voices!
Oyo State Governor Ajimobi, please her our voices.. ...

STATUS QUO
(latin for "the mess we're in)

Change. I hope this word doesn't scare you, but rather inspires you. Herbert Spencer said, "A living thing is distinguished from a dead thing by the multiplicity of the changes at any moment taking place in it". Change is an evidence of Life. It is impossible to grow without change. Those who cannot their minds cannot change anything. THE TRUTH IS, LIFE IS ALWAYS AT SOME TURNING POINT.

what people want is progress, if they can have it without change. Impossible! You must change and recognise that change is your greatest ally. THE PERSON WHO NEVER CHANGES HIS OPINIONS NEVER CORRECT HIS MISTAKES. The fact is the road to success is always under construction.

Yesterday's formula for success is often tomorrow's recipe for failure. Consider what Thomas Watson, the founder of IBM corporation, said, "There is a world market for about five computers." Where would IBM be today if Mr Watson had not been willing to change?

You cannot become what you are destined to be by remaining what you are. John Patterson said, "Only fools and dead men don't change their minds. Fools won't. Dead man can't. "If you don't respect the need for change, consider this; How many things have you seen that have changed just in the past year? When you change yourself, opportunities will change. The same kind of thinking that has brought you to where you are, will not necessarily get you to where you want to go.

Do not fear change, for it is an unchangeable law of progress. THE MAN WHO USES YESTERDAY'S METHODS IN TODAY'S WORLD WON'T BE IN BUSINESS TOMORROW. a traditionalist is simply a person whose mind is always open to new ideas, provided they are the same old ones. Odell Shepard observed, "There are people who not only strive to remain static themselves, but strive to keep everything else do....their position is almost laughably hopeless"

Mignon McLaughlin said, "It's the most unhappy person who most fear change." When patterns and tradition are broken, new opportunities come together. Defending your faults and errors only proves that you have no intention of quitting them. All progress is due to those who weren't satisfied to let well enough alone. They weren't afraid to change. Change is not your enemy-it is your friend!

RomanceDon't Mistake Beauty With Prettiness by Hardeysolution(op): 5:09pm On Oct 15, 2016
Beauty is not your facial look.... It's your inside composition...... What I see is what you have in there. You can never be referred to as being beautiful if you are not pretty, cute, charismatic, respectful, well trained, submissive among other good women virtues...... Don't mistake prettiness with beauty.........

Definitions
Beauty means pleasing to the senses of mind
Prettiness means attractive and not necessarily beautiful. In other words, good to look at.....

If you are beautiful, then you are a real wife material. If you are just pretty, you are a dating material. Hummmmmmm

I have not seen what is worth elaborating on what Mrs Aisha Buhari said. She has said the right thing which is known to wailers and nonwailers. We are aware that In all administrations, there are always cabals. When I went through the interview, I saw that she said nothing worth criticising but appreciating. Dame Patience will never speak Like that. Her husband is surrounded by people who have not, people's interests in mind but selfish interest. She is closer to her husband and is aware of what her husband is facing.

Nigerians, aren't we to leave the era of looking for faults and face reality. Will Patience stop campaigning for her husband despite Jonathan's administrative failure? She speaks for the people. She is a woman. She knows how people live. She is patriotic. She feels like people are not allowing her husband to function well. She is troubled. She is avoiding cases of Patience. She is passionate about us. She cares. And are some people blaming her? Wailing for what is not worth it? Mrs Aisha Buhari, the woman behind the successful Buhari.

More greese to your elbow. Mr President, I am sure he knows what he meant by she belongs to his kitchen. It means, what he wanna do, Aisha isn't aware. At last, she will say, wow! My husband really knows what to do..

As long as he is in the right path, I stand with Buhari!

Obama come and give me visa and honorary citizenship so I can vote And campaign for your party

I don't think I know Trump or Clinton very well. One thing I know is that they are Americans. Yes, I know they are presidential candidates of Democratic and Republican parties. Are we to expect first American female president or first American racist president?

I don't care! Nigeria is attaining that position soon......... Where all the countries of the world will look forward to who rule the world.... Nigeria is moving up

Yet, I support #HillaryClinton because she is a female. No, I support #DonaldTrump because he is a Christian. They are both Christians jor! Okay why will I support any? Oh, Ben Carson supports who? Trump? Yeeaa!

I know who to vote for already.... #USelections on my mind.... Come give me visa and honorary citizenship Obama to help u campaign and vote for Ur party

Prayer for a Girl Child.

Today is international day of the girl. It's my pleasure to be a witness of the day. Even though, back in those days, girls were given just a little preference, it's another era!

It's my desire to see females rule and have a share of the glory.

Our Heavenly Father, we are grateful for the gift of the female you gave to our father, Adam. We appreciate you for creation of fellowship and relationship. Lord we appreciate you.

It's our cry o Lord that you intervene in the rising menace of Girls being used as target of terrorism, sexual harassment, rape and others. We cry o lord to rescue our girls from the hands of the wicked ones.

We remember the chibok girls, oh Lord, in your infinite mercy, rescue them by your mighty hand, inspire our gallant soldiers, help our girls, remember your nation. God of our Fathers, hear us and Intervene.

#Amen

What the hell has APC and PDP have to do with this issue? What has Buhari or Jonathan have to do with this case? Aren't you just sensible enough to know that all organs can work and independently and the security agencies are also given the mandate to carry out their operations? What is wrong with us Nigerians? Can't we just give up on sentiment and continue to give necessary support? Oh Lord, when shall love and unity reign in Nigeria? When shall we have better brains? Must we be with black brains like we are black? Some started yarning Buhari, Nigeria! Nigerians! Hummmm.

EducationRe: Scrapping Post Ume Is A Stab To Our Educational System by Hardeysolution(m): 3:45pm On Oct 09, 2016
Universities are up to the task right now. A lot of aspirants kept on complaining about the screening modalities. Be aware that the Senate of individual schools are saddled with the responsibility to ascertain the screening method. I have be able to follow quite well the screening methods of some major universities apart from those who had their POst utme before the declaration of its cancellation.

This is a period where students will sit back and progress both in utme and ssce. It's a 50:50 allocation. This means it is purely impartial. I will be able to mention some schools and relate it well to how they conducted their screening.

Candidates cry that they pay for online registration when no exam was conducted. Are you aware that some people will handle the screening and there are changes for use of the portal? So why wouldn't you pay? I clearly remember that I advocated for a pegged price which was adopted and a complaint platform which is available. Post Utme was a way of defrauding the people and there could be manipulation. High prices yet not development in the schools? When you write post utme and your ssce is still a factor to consider, then why go for post utme at all? We have got to complain this period because it started this year but next year, there would be a better turnaround.

University of Ilorin

University of Ilorin, the better by far, called for registration and later released admission list. Candidates complain of incredibility. I will say, the mentality we have from the onset that admission is gotten when you are long-legged is what is causing the psychological misunderstanding of the entire process. University of Ilorin admitted students based on merit, catchment and how competitive the course could be. If you applied for engineering course with 200 and c6 you may be dropped but with such score for sociology, you may be admitted.
Meanwhile, supplementary list is not yet out.

University of Lagos
This university kindly called for registration, used a 50:50 jamb ssce ratio. With a 10-9-8-7 scoring system. The result was released then cut off marks then merit list. Interestingly, no much complaints were laid concerning the process except denying Neco students admission. There were laid down rules stating that results released after the deadline will not be acceptable. I will say Unilag screening method was fair enough. Supplementary list still awaited.

University of Ibadan

Though cut off mark is yet to be out so no list yet. University of Ibadan took time before calling candidates which means they were looking for right method to use not to go against the FG directive. The University used 50:50 ratio but WITh 6-5-4-3 Method. This is fair enough but people who couldn't get up to fifty will be disqualified automatically. You should know University of Ibadan is full and strict for being the best university in Nigeria. Quacks can not be admitted. Federal Universities can not accept what state or private Universities accept. Students aspiring for UI, Unilag, Unizik, UNN, OAU, Futa, Funaab, should know they have to over read.

Why should you pass jamb and fail ssce or why should you pass ssce and fail jamb? They are not complementary. That was the case back then when students just want to have at least c6 to qualify.

What will be its effect on malpractice?

Our exam bodies are coming up with anti cheating techniques and I assure you that candidates who PATRIONISE special centres are only wasting time and money as there's nothing like special centres again. A special centre that couldn't produce best WAEC candidate? Or have a subject cancelled? Or have all cancelled? You have reasons to shun special centres and prepare well.

I can boldy say I have a lot of candidates who doesn't know anybody and applied for schools like unilag, Unilorin. People often ask them, do they know anybody? Meanwhile, they were admitted and people still ask, say the truth, do you know anybody? Why? Mentality back then.. ..that disturbs us in all aspects of our lives
