GenBuhari: Nigeria is a joke.

An individual with history of profiting from corrupt govt, speaks about $4bn loan from presumably Nigerian banks (who have a bad history of writing off bad loans and allowing corrupt borrowers to steal the money).

A Federal govt who does not feel that it is it's responsibility to build refineries, and is happy to rely on a single company with a record of corrupt business dealings/ alliances.

Is it likely that anybody could get such a huge loan to build refineries with out govt underwriting the loan (agreeing to repay the banks if loan is not repaid by borrower)?

Does any of the above not concern you?

Sounds nice on the surface. It'll make more sense if many more will be given license in like manner so avoid the monopoly which likes of Dangote have long been enjoying in other areas while the people are left at their mercy.

I recall I experienced something similar. It wasnt hard for me to render the AccessBank account dormant as I had others too. You can take it up with them but bear in mind they created this thing called Service Charge which keeps cutting some noticeable amounts from your account. I really enjoyed that bank when it was still IB PLC.

Success at the 2015 elections you mentioned will remain a mirage for as long as Jonathan continues to exist in a state of denial about the level of corruption associated with his administration.

If you think Obasanjo's riposte was only intended for local consumption, you are also seriously mistaken.
Tragic as it sounds, what you have here is a former president whose own administration did not exactly excel in the area of transparency announcing to the world that: "while he might have been corrupt, the current one is infinitely more corrupt".

The gauntlet has been thrown and now is the time for Jonathan to rise to the challenge.

Clue: An average private school might offer 20-40k. Those big names usu @ VI, Ikoyi offer much better, as high as 120k. Govt schs pays are better structured and better than those of most private schs.
