You obviously don't think people are fools. Go and read about history and how historical facts are established. This picture is nothing but a mockery and aimed at embarrassing the Bonny people as cheats
You should do the reading instead. Its obvious you know nothing about the Bonny you speak of. There is nothing for me to prove.

And how does it mock them? I don't understand. Elaborate on that please.

This is not 1900. Stop all these lies online!!!
FunkyAlhaji2015:
This is a huge lie. This is no 1900 pictures, they won't have had that much clothes on. 117 years ago very few people owned clothes in these part of the world. This more like 1957 wedding procession.
phkka1:
This picture may not be true. Mode of dressing by then was far less than what you are showing us. Between 1950 to 1970, I may tend to agree with you.
Jabioro:
There's no umbrella around 1900 ..check history.. Nigeria as an entity is not in existence..

Xenophobia in South Africa is a known problem that didn't start yesterday... Savages they are!
How is this topic related to xenophobia? every South African is now xenophobic? There is xenophobia in South Africa no doubt but it is not proper to call all of them names. Will you be comfortable when you are referred to as a scammer? or drug peddler? comment with some maturity.

Light is a big problem in Nigeria, which is shameful, but you should know that Ghana is not even bigger than Rivers state, so it is easier to generate constant power(which is not even constant) to all parts.
Nigeria can supply your country Ghana and the likes of Benin republic and still do not have enough( which in part is due to corruption and lack of ideas). I hear that even lndia as a big country faces thesame problem. This is why the U.S is a giant indeed, they are not just big with the largest GDP but they have solved these problems, because they are not clueless or wicked TO THIER OWN like the Nigerian Government, but then again U.S.A is 400 years old and has had her own struggles. I do not expect you to understand though, you are a patriotic Ghanian of course.
Ghana is bigger than rivers state. You don't have to sound silly to make a point.

It is funny that every ant is laying claims on Port Harcourt. As late as 70s Nigeria, the boat people still live on the boat. I had a friend, Tombi, whom I used to visit at Abonema. Port Harcourt. I will stay on the boat with him and family for weeks with occasional stroll along Wharf road.
Lolzz... This guy... lol, such bold lies. Wetin person no go see. It baffles me to see someone post boldly in ignorance. Anyway, you can console yourself with these cheap lies. Goodluck to you.

Some people just dey here dey throw careless comments. Wheather the woman provoked her husband or not hitting her was wise. The woman might talk amiss but the man sef get mouth. Marriage is not all glamorous. self control is paramount.

A lot of my nigerian brothers probably dont get the purpose for this thread and if they do, they're doing a poor job comprehending. Our country is passing through difficulties, yes, an we will overcome... hopefully. From the comments on this thread, my nigerian keyboard warrior brothers seem to promote mediocrity. Maybe you realise or maybe you do not but fighting on nairaland does nothing to alieviate our problems.

Masturbation was condemned before looking in the Bible for a verse that condemned the act. They found this verse which is not very explicit to stick it to masturbation. angry
You might say so but Matthew 5:28 can also be applicable. But in the general sense as we understand it, it often goes along with lust. Hope you understand. Your comment is appreciated though.
