Sports › Re: Cyclists In Port Harcourt by Hausa(m): 1:04am On Mar 10, 2020 |
WooodSI: True to that. I love cycling as a sport in general is very fun. I have been at for a while now and I feel like it was one of the best decisions I have done in my life. I am in greet shape haha. If this is your first race you will need to have a good and solid training plan in place. I remember when I was training or my first race I didn't really think it through, so I chocked 30 mins in. You have ti thinking about things like timing and stamina. try working on your stamina in general plus try coming up with a personalized time trial training plan. In general it will help you to cut back on your time/lap ratio and help you win. Hope you are successful. Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any Bro. where do you cycle at? What state? By the way, what do you mean by choking 30 mins in? |

BluntBoy: The average Nigerian lecturer is misinformed about his/her position.
There was a time, during my master's, when I went to see my supervisor. I met a PhD student/lecturer there who was initially respectful to me until he knew I was a master's student. He began to be rude, and impatient. I felt like giving him a piece of my mind but something just told me to let it go. Because the idiot could somehow find a way to cause a delay in my project. After convocation, I made sure to look for the arrogant dolt. He was taking a lecture. I called him out and gave him a piece of my mind. I let him understand that the university belonged to the students, and not the lecturers, and that without students and the money the students pay, the lecturers will be absolutely nothing. The students were cheering me, and it was obvious that he wasn't a lecturer that people liked. I guess it's a private school. In a federal university, I doubt a lecturer cares about the money you pay as a student. You come, you no come, alert go show. Unless of course, they now sell personal books for profit. Ehen... |

lilbarracuda: I was riding my bike on oau campus...it rained that day so some part of the road and the pot holes were filled with water... Na so I dey fire speed enter pot hole covered with water, fell off the bike, knack head for ground thank God for helmet sha..... people around wey like eeya, sorry ooo, hope ya okay, I no fit talk shame just dey catch me as dirty water dey drip from my body That's the good thing about Ife campus. Bicycle riders must wear helmets, and it helps. Any place outside campus you go, North, South, even Lagos, most riders ignore this and just ride without helmets. Too risky. |
