Hi is a British word used to address a strange/first-timer person. And its not used independently. For example; Hi dude, Hi sweetgirl, Hi Longman. Any word can fit in to Hi inasmuch as it describe d individual involved abit accurate.

Its only the word 'Hello' that is used without any 'additions'.

Pls, lets get our vocabularies right, else we make a mockery of English language.

Afterall OAU is the first
African University to do
Pharmacy, Chemical
Engineering and even
Electrical & Electronics. We should be there. We get
mouth pass any Nigerian
University.
The only let down is the
absence of neat and really
big hostel that can accommodate not less than
30,000 students especially
foreign students. That 's a
normal international
standard .
Our current hostel is not well taken care of. Though it
can house about 12,000
students and its very cheap
(N2590 or $20) per session,
it's not good enough. The
lecture theatres and rooms is the best in Nigeria. Every
hall is equipped with 2
plasma TV and A computer/
projector to aid learning. No
hall sits anything less than
500 students and there are up to 20 of them. OAU
currently have the best ICT
facility in any Nigerian
University. They currently
have their own server and
run their own iLAB - the first to achieve it. Internet
facilities are installed
everywhere on
campus.
If it 's not for Nigeria factor,
OAU would have achieved it's full potentials. This ranking is
merely suggesting that.

and d students aren't playing their own part to keep their hostels clean. Non challance everywhere

segunisreal: pace, it depends on the holstel u are given for example angola nd moz its 12 people per room,awo nd faj i think 6 to 8 people in a rum,etf 8 students per room but as i said earlier it depends on d hostel u are allocated nd jst to let u know d statistics i'm giving u are 4 legal occupants it may vary some stalites may decide ilegally stay wit u......

Henwall: Actually, the 1st step is to request for the bed space online before anything else(v.important). Next,you print out 3 copies then you go to school v.early on march 4th for yur bed allocation. You den move into yur collective rooms. After that,original reg then begins.
P.S: it's just to ensure that all freshers have a place to stay before the reg commences fully. The reg's goin to end of the 11th of march so one needs to be v.smart abt it all...

Henwall: I heard it from a very reliable source last night that the fresh ers will start requesting for bed space as from the 2nd of. March..all fresh ers are to move in on the 4th of march to commence reg. Be space availability is based on the notion of the "first come first serve" basis. #teamoau. Gud morning pple!!!
