I believe that most of the women who testified against Harvey Weinstein had already been paid off. That's why they kept quiet previously. The world seems to have decided that rich and powerful men shouldn't be able to get away with sexual abuse and harrassment just because of their money. That a rich man shouldn't be able to go through life harrassing/abusing every woman he fancies just because he is so rich that he can afford to buy anyone's silence.
