Seems most of us have assumed Heidi is the party who got fed up with the marriage and wants to move on. What if it was Seal at fault or if he is the one that wants to move out of his wife's shadow! All have assumed Seal is innocent and Heidi insatiable. Trust men to always blamen the women! |
Very sad. I actually thought it was a match made in heaven. |
So much corruption in our country!! Imagine stealing money meant for elderly people! Na wa o! Is there any sector free frpom corruption in Nigeria? |
Suegbes |
Corruption was legalised in Nigeria decades ago. This protest started as fight against removal of fuel subsidy but became a fight against corruption by the youths. Trust the oldies who are deep rooted in corruption to ruin the whole war and redirect the course. I am left wondering who will be judging the accountability of the FG in this Fuel Subsidy Fund and what those milestones TUC president mentioned really are! If we the masses don't know those milestones, how are we supposed to be judge that things are going as planned? Its all a rat race. |
The sequel will be the masses adjusting to increase in cost of living. And of course SUFFERING and SMILING! |
NLC leaders had their hands tied, they looked subdued. They were probably intimidated to give up the struggle. Na wa! So its back to work and to purchase fuel at N97/ltr |
NLC has called off the strike. |
What a big shane. These same youths gathered to supported GEJ last year and it was fine BUT now they gather to state their displeasure with a policy and all hell is let loose. Why can't citizens gather to speak against a government policy in a democratic society? Why are we being rubbed of our rights to freedom of speech/ association/gathering? Why the heavy military presence? Is our democracy crumbling? Do we need military to control the same citizens who voted us into power? Is Nigeria not ripe/ready for real democracy devoid of military interference? Such a shame! |
I hope the big shots that make the gathering worthwhile will defy the military presence and show up to do their stuff. Afterall its NLC that called off street protests not the human activists. Now we will see who has liver, the men will be separated from the boys. Shikena! |
I thought it was said the country will collapse if fuel is not sold at N141/ltr; why did GEJ reduce it? I hope the economy will no longer collapse or is GEJ hoping/planning to take it up to N141 by April? This action is not that of a democratic government at all, it looks more like a military dictatorship. Hope we are not breeding another African leader that will need foreign intervention to 'hear word'! As for the heavy military presence in Lagos, me thinks our leaders are saying civilians cannot rule the nation! Just my thought. |
Visiting churches it fine BUT not good enough. They should speak to those killing christians and make them to stop their wickedness. |
All these 'play-play' around Oil Platform is very risky. The ND militants are highly volatile and can change the whole course of this protests in seconds at the slightest provocation. The dance has changed and JTF has to tread with caution. Why can't GEJ and our Labour leaders come to an agreement before this nation starts to burn? |
Wow! This protest has turned to something else. Hope we find the result(s) palatable. |
Destruction of government properties is highly unnecessary in this struggle against corruption/fuel subsidy removal. This will only give more opportunity for our leaders to inflate the amount to be used in replacing the loss. Nigerians should learn how to speak out our anger/displeasure against government without helping in ruining our nation further. |
Are the militants surrounding the oil platforms to protect them? Or are they hoping to vandalize the pipes and collect some crude? One can never know what's in a man's heart/mind until he has acted. I also learnt PENGASSAN has stayed action on the oil production shut down till Wednesday. |
And is IBB being hate and hearty supposed to cheer us up at this time? Na wa o! I personally don't give a hoot about his health. He's stale bad news. im time don pass jare! |
Wonderful Nollywood! Typical Nigerians who are moved by money. They have deserted GEJ just because he failed to deliver the 'loot' he promised. I am certain if GEJ had given them the promised fund, they would have been on the other side of this battle (pro-subsidy) BTW how are they show their fund is not included in this subsidy 'loot' GEJ and our 'Prime Minister' are clamouring for? |
Nice write up that has summarised our 'presidency' and made us to understand the real reason things are happening as they are. We need God's direction in Nigeria. Moreso, only those who have really experienced Nigeria can understand our pains and give us good governance. Too many 'imported' people making/enforcing rules and regulations. Enough is enough! |
Wicked government! Group of fraudsters/ swindlers who want to punish the poor citizens to get more loot. We need leaders not these clowns who amuse themselves with their thieving skills and want to drain our pockets at the same time. God have mercy on Nigeria. Good People; Great Nation; Wicked leaders! |
Any profession that makes him happy and brings in enough money. |
Women were not allowed to express themselves then, so majority of their activities were done in secret |
