Funny how most of us are just beginning to see the degree of rot and absurdities In the system we operate in Nigeria.Importing Bitumen from Cotdevoir,South Africa and Venezuela when we have over 40billion barrels in our backyard?. And we wonder why Naira keeps falling against dollar?...SMH Apart from the Bitumen in its raw form, which oozes out from the ground in Agbabu, Ondo state, Nigeria also has tarsand, (Oil sand) in the Eastern Dahomey basin stretching from Lagos thru Ogun to Edo and Ondo states. From Oilsand, Bitumen can also be extracted. Apart from its use in road construction, Bitumen can be converted to SYNCRUDE,synthetic crude oil...just like the normal crude oil; this is how Canada generates millions of dollars yearly..in fact over 60% of the canadian revenue comes from the tar sand business. This fact is not hidden from the Government all these years, what is lacking is the political will...I hope this administration would match words with action in this regard. |

Love Machine:If that's your understanding of his business acumen, then I think exploitation that results in the aforementioned benefits is far better than the conspiracy of other influential cabal who brought the country's economy down on its knees! |
Correct yourself OP.: It should be- 'How did the BIAFRAN flag GET TO this place' |
Nzeokafor:As if u knew what I wanted to say: Emmanuela's award is the one I am thrilled about... ![]() |
Ego Boyo, always carrying this calm and unruffled personality everywhere, in her movies...even in Pictures!... One of those who tried real hard to reposition the movie Industry with good movies then....HBD Madam! ![]() |
KunleSteel:God bless u jare Kunle for your observation. Ronnie Dikko,on and off screen is a decent and disciplined woman...and despite being in her fiftees too, she is still quite attractive without any unnecessary display of cleavages.. |
There seems to be this erroneous belief among MOST female celebrities that when you are invited to an event, u must dress to kill...and dressing to kill means exposing your cleavages! SMH |
muyibaba222:Is it possible to doctor a list for two aspirants?. |
But really, from the little I have read about the guy Freeze, u wouldn't blame any woman who beat him up o.. ![]() |
I don't know why I am not moved by this beautiful structure called a School. Maybe it's because I have the feelings most Governors embark on such projects, not only to show off, but to siphon money: despite this beautiful edifice, and a host of other so-called policies, including the mini laptops given to students, Osun state performance in education is still NOTHING to write home about. In fact, in the last rating by WAEC, Osun was 29th coming just before seven NORTHERN states known to be educationally disadvantaged....something is just not right somewhere!. |
Jimoh Ibrahim, the ATIKU of ONDO State: Just as the Presidential seat continues to elude Atiku, the Governorship seat would continue to exist only in Jimoh's dreams!! ![]() |
The word ' Ode', TO ME, is derogatory, just like the word ' Were' ( mad person). Ironically, people use it freely with their friends and loved ones but I find it extremely difficult to call even an enemy 'were' let alone a Friend/ loved one. Personally, I CAN NOT live with a lady who is not playful. In fact, that's one of the major attributes I look out for in ladies, but using words such as ' Ode' 'Were' is out of it....I still prefer 'Otondo'( used for corpers), Oniranu, Oniyeye... ![]() |
Very old picture. It was a snapshot from Zakky Azze's program 'True Nigerian' when Al-Makura was featured. That picture must be over four years if I am not mistaken. |
Good move. I hope the South Easterners would be committed towards realizing the set objectives. This should inspire other geo-political zones methinks!. At the end of the day Nigeria would be the better for it. |
Phi001:The current Prime Minister of Britain married early and has been married for over thirty years, but has no child: She expresses regrets over her barreness saying they,(she and her husband) really tried their best, but it never happened....Most of us are aware of similar cases around us. What am I driving at?; certain things are just beyond us as humans...You might find it easy to be married early in life, someone else would experience great difficulty achieving same, ...Conceiving might be an easy task for you, but someone may never acheive it..Haven't you seen someone younger, less intelligent and less hardworking, yet richer and more famous than you are?... In short, it is insensitive to make mockery of Funke Akindele just because she SEEMS to have failed in an aspect of her life by being single at 40...Do you know what awaits you as a Single person too?... Or what awaits you as a Married person?...or better still, what awaits your Children?...Life is full of mysteries, if u speak of another person's failure with pleasure, you would hear of your own with bitterness! If u can't empathize with her, simply wish her a Happy Birthday and move on!! |

Marotzke:I remember he became the FRSC boss at the age of 39. The youngest person to be appointed by OBJ then. He must've been a brilliant chap, for him to achieved that much within a short time.. |
One thing about life is this: what u focus on is what happens to you. Ever wondered why the world is not at peace?; one of the major reasons is because the attention of the world is on conflicts, wars and violence. Just tune to CNN, AL JAZEEERA,BBC...and even Nigerian TV stations... What am I driving at?. Enough of 'Celebrities whose marriages collapsed after one year bla,bla...' Instead, let's have 'Celebrities who have been married for years and still remain married'. Tell the stories of Joke Silva, Rita Edochie, Victoria Nyama, Omoni oboli, Omotola, Chimamanda Adichie... |
Joavid:I am not against weddings, but I am against ostentation that accompanies most weddings these days. I am against excessive attention to WEDDINGs and poor preparation for MARRIAGE. You want a 'small guest list, but classy and fun', Great!...as long as u don't pay through the nose ,because what is small to u, might be big to another. In essence, cut your coat according to the cloth....Remember, after WEDDING comes MARRIAGE!.Cheers! |
The irony about most weddings is that when u look back, years after, u wonder if it was necessary spending so much... |
AnusOdourInhaler:You may have inherited ' Pride' from your parents, but the way u reacted in that situation you illustrated was just normal. You were taken for granted and nobody likes it...u left out of annoyance. For me, It is excessive generosity! ![]() |
It is rather unfortunate that APC is allowing this rare opportunity to govern the state slip away, because of this needless acrimony! |
But, this Girl is really tall o;to think she is taller than Obama and her father, who arguably is one of the tallest presidents in the world...hope the Nigerian guy has considered this sha, make he no con look like dwarf beside her,in case the girl's father later changes his mind..lolz
