shogsman:Exactly my thoughts. |
splashbaby:You seem not to understand the sarcasm in his write up. ![]() |
jasmine1600:Ideally no man should want to touch her again. But, ladies like Tonto are smart and highly manipulative. They have a way of warming their way into the hearts of men, especially men who without healthy boundaries. |
miraculousGod:Exactly what I said... |
The emptiness she feels inside is so deep that the only way to feel good about herself is to seek external validation. Unfortunately, that’ll come from birds sharing a feather with her...this just worsens her already battered self esteem!. |
kinah:He bears James too. I initially doubted the story and the source too, till I saw that many National dailies have already uploaded it online. |
iddonla:Yes, Funmi Adams is no more in the country. But, she is NOT the one that got raped and left the country thereafter. You’re probably talking of Tokunbo Ajayi of NTA. Tokunbo Ajayi allegedly committed suicide as a result of the sad incident. |
chineloSA:You can easily burst the bubble and expose a Covert Narcissist, by simply saying ‘NO’ to their requests that don’t sit well with you. That way, they fly into rage, cos they hate being told ‘No’. It means if you look carefully enough, you can spot a Covert Narcissist either. |
Canberra55:Her husband was Mr Phillips who died 37yrs ago. The man she worked with as an actress was Hubert Ogunde who died 31yrs ago. Actually, many people erroneously believe she was married to Ogunde then because of their closeness, but she wasn’t. I guess that’s why the OP inserted that paragraph to clarify. |
Both IgbereTV and Sahara Reporters In one story?. Are they now in joint partnership? or are they the same?..I don’t get it.. By the way, balanced reportage of the story would have included the Landlord’s side too. The story is one-sided! |
GeneralPula:I thought I was the only one with such weird pastime; I gather story books, recommended textbooks, both English and Yoruba, many of which I read in the 80s and start reading all over again....It gives me this unique sense of nostalgia! |
The basket of flowers by Christoph Von Schmid.. ‘Unto Thee I grant...’ authorship unknown! |
nepapole:Actually it's not people's fault. It is the Father's fault. He practically made his baby a celebrity of sort by always uploading every little thing that happens in the baby's life....unfortunately, despite being a baby People did not spare her. They analysed, criticized and even condemned-just the way a celebrity would be treated. Very unnecessary exposure methinks! |
Times and periods like this are meant to be for GENUINE sober reflection by the leaders and the led. Such moments speak volumes about the transient nature of life. But, the question is do we ever learn from occurrences like this?. One of the Governors attending this burial is alleged to be building a multibillion Naira mansion for himself in his state-even IF he is truly the owner of the money, the death of Adeleke and his being wrapped in a cheap clothing material, to be rolled and lowered inside a grave of sand, outside his multimillion naira mansion should be a big lesson to the sitting Governor. Similarly in Adeleke's State, There and then, jostling for the vacant senatorial seat, would have started...and yet 'they are mourning' . This is not about the politicians alone, even ordinary people are equally guilty of simply taking moments like this at face value. Whereas " Oku Ng sunkun Oku' And for those saying many more politicians should die because "they are theives", well, death is not a punishment. On daily basis many poor people die...so,it is just a sad reality of life!. May the soul of the departed rest in peace. |
CastedDude:someone supposedly seen hale and hearty a day to his death is now being reported to have died after a protracted illness!...or is there another definition of 'protracted'? |
One aspect of parenting often neglected is how to create and sustain the familial bond between them(parents) and their children. Most African parents are guilty of this. They believe it's all about providing the basic needs for their children. Hence, most children grow up detached emotionally from their parents. When I see clips like this or parent-child relationship of this type, I salute such parents, cos it's not easy achieving such a feat!. |
So,he did not leave Islam because he was convinced about the precepts and doctrines of Christianity?. Instead, he accepted solely because Muslims abandoned him while Christians showed him love in his trying period. So, if tomorrow, Christians stop showing him the support, and Pagans begin the show of love for him, would he convert again?. In short, I am not against his becoming a Christian, but his reason is too feeble... |
Some people actually deserve such embarrassment. They come to you cap in hand begging for money. To pay back now becomes a problem. The irony is that most of them can afford to pay but the spirit of indebtedness is in them. I have had numerous experiences with such people. They are terrible and very annoying.. |
Sometimes strangers are genuinely concerned and more willing to help than people we call friends.#justMyObservation |
But truly the Man needs medical attention. I watched him receive the outgoing Saudi Ambassador today, I knew all wasn't well with him health wise. Let him go for thorough treatment. Osinbajo has proven to be a capable hand.... |
cktheluckyman:The more reason why authorities of ABU should release a statement to clear the air on the issue. The delay in response is rather suspicious. |
JamieNaijaTeam:Damilola Adegbite is one person, therefore what follows should be HAS. This is one grammatical mistake I have been noticing lately. |
scobaba:I just weak! ![]() |
While everyone was putting on their NYSC 'uniform', Dino was putting on a totally different thing. Yet he has the effrontery to question Hamed Alli for ALSO chosing to be different by not wearing Customs Uniform?. ; . |
I can't understand why people are quick to disbelieve any story of misdemeanor attributed to a Pastor/Cleric (or supposed man of God). Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo who was enmeshed in a similar crisis years back promised to give a 'robust response' to the allegation of sexual assault leveled against him by one Else, till date, three years down the line, we are still waiting for this robust response. Some of us must have seen/read about the popular American Televangelist, Jimmy Swagart, who made a live broadcast to confess his sexual escapades asking God and his Family to forgive him. Rev. Bakker, Martin Gorman are other examples of pastors found guilty of adultery in d past. In Nigeria, Bishop Wale Oke also exhibited the rare courage to own up admitting that he committed adultery with his secretary...And on radio, social media and newspapers we read stories of clerics caught in such shameful acts. This is not to denigrate the status of these religious leaders but to make us understand that they are human and are fallible!. Therefore, the case of this lady and Apostle Sulaiman should not be ignored until there is enough evidence to show that the lady is a liar. So far, from what I have read, Apostle Sulaiman hasn't denied knowing the lady, he hasn't denied having financial transactions with her....This is more of a moral issue than a political one. Let's try and look at issues like these objectively instead of attaching political or religious sentiments...enough said!! |

quentin06:I knew there would be some kind of explanation like this cos the stunt could not have taken place without safety measures.. |
For once,I want to agree with this red beret minister- Bash Alli is a trouble maker. He is fond of using such antics to gain public sympathy. He should go and rest jare. |
Since this recession started, I observed that many cars including mine have no problem running on empty tanks! . But, the info is quite apt. |
I am one of those who refused to castigate Nigerians who participated and lost money in MMM. I believed the situation of the country was enough to make one think of taking such a gamble. However, I observed that shortly after the purported crash of MMM, scores of other ponzi schemes with juicier offers sprang up. Swiftaid, citifund, Nairapropeller(abi proppellant ni?), etc. The truth is these schemes are being run by some Nigerians eager to rip others of their hard earned money. I know of one owned by a former MMM Guider and that is still running.Though, like MMM, I learnt they have changed the rules in the middle of the game leaving people with no option than to pledge more for their trapped money to be released. Also, stories of being matched with and paying into accounts of organizers is also very real. It's high time Nigerians forgot about these schemes and looked for other means of making money. These schemes more often than not leave participants poorer. |
They are all Birds of a feather. The irony is that these are two young men in their forties. When they say youths need to take over political leadership, people like Dino and Yahya Bello would make one doubt the readiness of youths to bring about the desired positive change in the nation! By the way, what's it with Kogi State?. it has never been fortunate to have a good Governor... |
