Peter Obi is a liar and a thief. He was involved in several money laundering activities as Governor of Anambra. Even some of those he sent were caught in Lagos.

You're very very stupid. So only a nonentity like you knows this? The APC doesn't know this and didn't use it to tarnish his image during the last election? The EFCC doesn't know this and hasn't arrested him? Only a broke ass semi literate nincompoop like you would pluck out nonsense from your itchy, infected anus and throw online as 'facts'.

Guy, I no carry anything jare...

Just remembering how hyped this state was back then!!! grin

I be proper Lagos boy, but the truth is that the state is a joke for the average masses. Terrible joke. Very poor standard of living for the average working class or hustling peeps. But they don't know. Lol.

That said, I only support this okada ban because of the dangerous influx of these abokki bastards. They just have to be ejected. I'm sure of their okadas are purchased with kidnapping ransoms. Useless animals with their evil agenda.

Better for people to trek from Okokomaiko to Mile 2 than for these abokki idiots to be allowed to compromise security of residents.

my dear keep trekking, it is a part of exercise. Meanwhile the reason of the banning is for our own good. The influx of Hausa Fulani/ herdsmen in lagos state is on the high rise. Have you ask your self who is sponsoring these boys, who is giving them these keke and bike. Ndi Igbo siri na nwa nnunu na agba egwu n'uzo ihe na akuru ya egwu no nime ohia, meaning that, a bird that dances on the road the drummer is inside the bush. My dear pls keep trekking. God gave us leg to walk. You get leg they complain if no get leg you will still complain. Pls appreciate God for that.

I used to be against banning this Okada of a thing, but now I'm completely adamant they have to go... Mainly because of the security implications of allowing them to continue. The 'business' has been overtaken by these murderous abokki animals, and that is something that cannot be tolerated. They simply have to go. Ban them across the whole of Lagos.

The alternative is to allow ONLY registered companies like Opay and Gokada to operate the motorbike transportation business, on selected routes. At least we know that those ones are regulated and cannot employ these illiterate abokki idiots who parade everywhere with daggers looking for who to stab.

I don't support disgracing a genuinely poor/hopeless woman like this driven by hunger and frustration to steal a cooking item. I would simply retrieve the stolen item and shoo her away at worst.

On this you clown...

Former Head of State General Muhammadu Buhari has advised President Goodluck Jonathan to resign from office for his inability to tackle the security challenges facing the country.
“Jonathan should vacate and give way to competent hand to govern the country”, he said.

Speaking to newsmen in his residence in Daura town yesterday, General Buhari said the issue of security is a fundamental duty of any responsible government, but Jonathan failed to protect the lives and the properties of Nigerians since he assumed power.
“When the Niger Delta militants started their activities in the South-South, they were invited by the late President Umaru Yar’adua.
An aircraft was sent to them and their leaders met with the late President in Aso Rock and discussed issues. They were given money and a training scheme was introduced for their members. But when the Boko Haram emerged in the north members of the sect were killed,” General Buhari lamented.
“And when the police failed to address the insurgency, soldiers were invited and they captured the Boko Haram leader, Muhammad Yusuf alive and handed him over to police. But Yusuf was eventually killed, his in-law too was killed and their houses were demolished”, he said.
He said the murder of the Boko Haram leader however provoked his followers and that was what led the country to its present situation. He suggested that government should adopt a new approach that will end the insurgency without affecting the lives and properties of innocent people.
“In Bama and Baga towns, military personnel were reported to have been engaged in extortion and sometimes raping of women. And because a soldier was killed in Baga the whole town was sacked by military. This is not the best way military should have acted when they were sent to restore law and order in a town. How can a responsible government allow its people to be killed in this way,” he asked.
He warned that the police, SSS, army, navy and Air force should know how to conduct themselves and act professionally.
“The soldiers are not expected to go and sack a town because one of them is killed. They are expected to capture the culprits for prosecution. After all the soldiers are not meant to tackle internal crisis but when it is necessary they should act professionally.
“Whoever is sent to protect people should also protect their integrity. When the former England’s Prime Minister, Margret Thatcher decided to hold its political meeting in Brighton the security advised her to cancel the meeting because of the IRN rebellions, but she insisted and held the meeting. The hotel she was accommodated was bombed and some of her political associates were killed but soldiers did not condone the area and kill everybody there, rather they conducted themselves professionally,” Buhari said.
General Buhari, who condemned the imposition of state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, said state of emergency was not the best way to address insurgency in the three affected states and the country in general.
“Government cannot kill all the Boko Haram members. Government should rather arrest and prosecute the Boko Haram members. They should only be killed when they said clearly they wage war against their country like what happened during the civil war. And even during civil war we that fought in the war were given a copy of code of conduct book which guided us against killing innocent people”, he said

I think this is the most foolish response from a Presidential spokesman ever in the history of Nigeria, rather than address the element of Sen. Abaribe call for Buhari's resignation, he went ahead with calumny to blackmail the persona of Sen. Abaribe.

The primary responsibility of every responsible Govt is to protect the lives and properties of its citizen which Buhari has failed to do in all ramification. The spate of killings and attacks under Buhari is unprecedented. Sen. Abaribe's call is valid and it represents the opinion of all sensible Nigerians.

It is such a watery response coming from the presidential spokesman. And again, Abaribe's shortcomings wouldn't validate President Buhari's failures or incapacities if there are. It's quite appalling how Garba Shehu and Femi have left the real job of image management to stoop for the hatchet job of attacking perceived critics. What a shame.

Seems you don't realize how incredibly messed up this current administration is. Populated by a bunch of idiots, misfits, and barbarians - from Buhari himself down to the most inconsequential of his hopeless appointees. A thoroughly incompetent government it is - on all accounts.

The security of the country is falling apart as everyone can see, and in serious countries this level of insecurity is sufficient for the useless president and his entire security chiefs to resign. This much was pointed out by a patriotic senator. Yet the senseless government can only respond by blackmailing the senator and whipping up useless sentiments.

Nigeria hasn't fully grasped the sheer extent of the ruin it brought upon itself by allowing these animals seize power.

I wonder how Wasiu managed to build himself into this level, such that spraying him money is a status symbol, has been this way for decades now. The goodwill jazz must be VERY strong. Some things are just too mysterious.

Bloody cowards in uniform. Every other day, Boko Haram attacks them in their bases and the ones that manage to survive all run away, leaving their arms and ammunition behind for the Boko boys to cart away.

Yet when they see unarmed and harmless civilians, they always like to form Rambo. Does that make sense? I don't know the kind of orientation these idiots receive.

Probably tales by moonlight fabricated by an idle mind, but let me sha offer my free contribution.

You shouldn't bother going ahead with the marriage to the so-called 'good girl". This one she is threatening to kill you in your sleep if such a thing happens, it shows she is not a wife material in any way. A truly good wife material will make emotional provision for her husband to flex body small outside once in a while because after all, 'that is what all men do', and would never harbour murderous thoughts due to that. The worst thing is that she might also be fucking one or two (or more) men concurrently as we speak, but you don't know because she is hiding her shit well. Yet she will form awon eyan Mariam Sanda. I know these kinds of sneaky, goody two shoes evil women, and I can't stand them.

Flee from this time bomb now and look for a cool headed, submissive and 'overlooking' kind of babe to marry.

Crime / Re: Maryam Sanda Shouting "Mummy, Mummy" After Death Sentence (Video) by Hedonisst: 7:25am On Jan 28, 2020
12Monkeys:

The crime was committed in Abuja and tried in a federal high court.

All convicted capital offenders get an automatic appeal which can be continued up to the Supreme court.

If all appeals are exhausted, the execution can only be carried out by an executive order by a duly elected governor which the FCT does not have. The minister of FCT is not constitutionality empowered to grant pardons or a prerogative of mercy. So if the minister can not grant pardons, he can not sign warrants either.
Who then will sign her death warrant as constitutionally mandated for executions?

This is the reason federal judges hardly pass death sentences. The case of Kabirui Sokoto who was responsible for over 200 deaths in the Abuja Nyanya bombings and Okah's Independence day lethal bombings saw only life sentences as both crimes were committed in Abuja and tried at an Abuja high court.

Only Governors can sign a warrant. Even the president doesn't have that responsibility although he can grant pardons or commutations to a life sentence.

The point I am making is that, the useless woman judge who passed this sentence is not aware of the intricacies surrounding death sentences within federal jurisprudence .

She is obviously from the same school as Tanko.

If in doubt, why did the FG hand Maj Mustapha and Gen Bamiyi to Lagos state for prosecution?

Even in the US, the FBI may decide to try someone in a state court rather than federal when looking for a death sentence. The only crimes that can lead to a death conviction in a US federal court is espionage and treason. Same rules apply in Nigeria.

The point is not to actually carry out the death sentence. Of course they wouldn't. When last was anyone, even hardened terrorists and violent criminals on death rowz been actually killed?

The good thing about the judgement is that she will have to remain in jail for as long as possible and suffer the consequences of her foolishness there. The other time she was granted bail on compassionate grounds, but that's not happening again. Maybe she will eventually be released in 10 years time, but that's good enough for me. Let her life be ruined.
