Vizzim:If as a regular correct dude who has played the game averagely for many years, you have never had a girl tell you she has taken in for you, then I suggest you go and check yourself out to be very sure before you even contemplate marriage. It's too important. |
I personally know lots of young couples that have been married for years without any trace of the woman conceiving. What nonsense. What's the point of the whole union and restriction of freedom if not to have children and raise a family? After fucking around carelessly with different useless guys (both married and single) and possibly messing up their reproductive system during their youth, they want to come and tie an innocent guy down into nonsense bondage with nothing to show for it. It doesn't work like that abeg. |
100Cents:Funny enough, I don't know any Nigerian that has made it big BECAUSE he attended business school (a few might have made it IN SPITE OF attending business school). All the mega heavy weights we all know did not go to business school before they made their billions., and business school certainly didn't teach them zilch about how to scheme their way to billions. Some of them only went to prestigious sounding schools AFTERWARDS merely to decorate their profiles and add legitimacy to their wealth (Jimoh Ibrahim, Elumelu, Keem-Belo, et al... ad infinitum). All the rich kids, looters' children, bookish average kids, and other categories of individuals who go to LBS or even Havard or London do so to either get 'good' middle management jobs (at best) or to manage their parents' businesses.... NEVER EVER to build anything from scratch. They simply cannot. Those of them who attempt to only do so because they have an unfair and obscene 'wastable or' gamble-able) war chest to deploy from their parents' vast fortunes. Nothing meaningful often results. Street smarts, luck, and good old wisdom are always more important than formal learning. |
This is the thread of the year. Take it or leave it. |
So that is how they sneak into aboki's filthy room to do the unthinkable, and afterwards, they would come out to form English speaking 'duh' yanga for better guys. Who would have known if things didn't go awry like this? Where's the dignity and self-respect? Yet you want a correct guy to respect you. God forbid. Women. The thing can make many guys understandably misogynistic. It's just a ridiculous joke. Rest in peace sha, madam pretentious creeping weedo. |
Amarabae:Agwo tagbukwa gi dia. |
He has a very good case. |
ngolokante:If by "extraordinary measures" you mean a haphazard, thoughtless, unsystematic, unstructured, and arbitrary approach that would lead us nowhere (since we would keep running round in circles without real progress), then I'd have to point out that such thinking is the reason why Nigeria and much of Africa remains hopelessly stagnant. I've just told you my idea of what sustainable whistle-blowing entails, that's what would work long term. Institute a system where people can anonymously expose looting AS IT IS HAPPENING (for a fee), not after it has happened and proceeds have been successfully laundered. If you want to follow the current barbaric and unsustainable pattern, then virtually everyone has questions to answer. I assure you that if you raid Bola Tinubu's house now, you would find mammoth money in local and hard currencies, same applies to virtually every top politician and senior government official, past and present. Where do you start from? Everyday we go out and see unknown idiots driving/buying relatively expensive cars, popping champagne, and living the high life. Go to any of the big malls, or to the average lounge, or anywhere for that matter. You'll see all sorts of people living a 'questionable' lifestyle. Who are these people and why haven't they all been clamped to explain the source of their money to the last kobo, even though we can rightly suspect that majority of them are illegally acquired? Its a virtually endless chain, and following this haphazard home raiding technique would lead us nowhere. |
ngolokante:The onus is on the EFCC to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the jewellery are proceeds of crime. It is absurd to raid a person's house and "recover" items that you can't prove how they were acquired merely based on stupid whistle blower information. Indeed, the whole concept of whistle blowing as we have been seeing it of late is barbaric, idiotic, and ultimately unsustainable. Why aren't whistle blowers exposing contract scams, over-invoicing, forex round-tripping, kickbacks, and the uncountable other ACTIONS via which government funds are actually looted? That's how it's done in civilised climes. The documents and files through which these monies are looted pass through various tables and are seen by various eyes. That's where we need the whistle-blowing. You can't just jump into a person's house like a gang of armed robbers and "recover" money and other possessions with no clue about their source other than suspicion. You would only waste everybody's time in court if you can't prove that the items were acquired through specific/identifiable criminal activities. It is trite in criminal law worldwide that suspicion, however great or circumstantial, cannot equate guilt. |
Looks a bit underwhelming to me. |
xstry:Some of you are totally mad. What a waste of education (assuming you have any). Is Nigeria running a totalitarian government where the leaders are demigods that cannot be criticised? Which law backs up the rubbish you just uttered? |
This is a very imbecilic accusation by the EFCC. One doesn't expect common sense in these security agencies since they are populated with "quota system' mediocres and misfits. So, if I am a thief and I use proceeds of my theft to pay anyone who rendered a service to me - like a barber, a plumber, a prostitute, doctor, or even a lawyer, do these people automatically assume vicarious accompliceship? Would the EFCC also arrest any olosho, doctor or janitor that Fayose has paid for their services recently? This is even assuming but not conceding that Fayose obtained the funds illegally. When you pay for a good or service in the open market, who cares where or how you got the money, and which law makes the seller vicariously liable for a buyer's unlawful source of funds? This is just ridiculous. No wonder the EFCC is better at arresting indiscriminately, freezing accounts foolishly, and conducting daft media trials AS OPPOSED to securing convictions. Bunch of idiots. |
lightwind:Since you are familiar with his movement and whereabouts, then you must be a suspect. The relevant authorities should locate you and do the needful. CC: Seun |
sinaj:God forbid. I rather die honorably if this animal's kidneys are the only remaining option to save my life. I wish the same for everyone I know. Imagine living with this murderous beast's body parts inside me. Tufiakwa. His body should be burnt or dissolved in acid and cast away in a dense forest. |
May God be praised. These kinds of beasts do not deserve to live. Best news I've heard this week. Burn in hell, bloody bastard. |
It never ceases to amaze me how Nigerian authorities always prefer deploying scarce resources to useless activities. Are prostitutes our problem at this point in time? Do they threaten the peace and security of the general populace? Why not direct the scarce governmental resources towards fighting the massive problem of violent crime? I just tire. |
Uncanny timing for this topic. |
No be small thing. For as long as I can remember, I only use abbreviations in text messages (or tweets) where character restrictions apply. Unrestrained usage of all these yeye 'pls', 'thx', 'n" and the rest has a damaging effect on one's IQ. |
apcmustwin:Talent indeed. |
Desperate, attention seeking nincompoops. |
Good English. Unfortunately, the people who really need the message wouldn't get the message. |
True talk. Real talk. |
There are some things that one doesn't even have the audacity to wish for or dream of. |
ZarZar:Fair enough then. Perfect for everyone. |
ZarZar:Unfortunately, you're going to have a very sad life, you know why? Because I know very well that you have a 'high' taste. The kind of guy you like and want is one that has a good income, is reasonably good looking, has a decent dick/sexual performance, and is attentive/charming. Maybe not all that but any or some of all that. Unfortunately for you, any guy with any or all of that CANNOT be 'possessed' by you alone. Get that into your thick skull. Women are very funny. It's actually fairly easy for most women to get the kind of guy that might not cheat. But you don't want that kind of guy. You want the kind of 'correct' guy with the qualities that other girls also like, and yet you think he would ignore those other girls and only have eyes for you! Goodness gracious. Keep dreaming, and happy searching. |
Genea:No wonder wey you dry like panla. Only a mumu man would even give you enough room to think that you have a reason to feel 'entitled' to his affection, let alone exclusively so. Men need to clear these deluded girls' doubts from the very beginning: We are so-called "fuckboys" (the most meaningless and useless slang ever), but we like you and maybe we can get along and maybe we can get serious. BUT don't expect me to stick to you alone, but of course I expect you to be loyal to me if we get serious! Yeah, double standards, but you gree abi you no gree? Very simple. There's no compulsion or by force arrangement. Get lost if you don't agree, or come and be my sweetheart and number 1 if you agree. It's better to clarify these things early enough so that dubious girls like these don't start thinking that they're all that. |
Very true. Some people need to understand the complexity of the male sexual system. A lot of 'background processes' affect the mechanism of erection, and some of those processes are linked to broader, deeper health issues. It's not simply a matter if 'e no be man', 'e no fit perform'. Ignorance kills. |
owobokiri:I agree completely. A lot of lives were messed up and a lot of destinies were torpedoed. Can't tell you how badly I was affected. Things would have been VERY different for me now if Jonathan hadn't been so hopelessly naive and easily intimidated to lose power to this particular coalition of opportunistic misfits. I haven't really forgiven him yet. |
Lol. You women just don't get it. The typical man's love for variety cannot be negotiated, especially a hard working man with cash to spare. You can only work hard to make yourself number 1, not the only one. No need for long talk. |
This topic get as e be. |
Kobicove:I don't understand some men. Even girls that I'm already intimate with (including girlfriends, flings, Bleep buddies, or friends with benefit), I have never and can never do anything with them in their own turf. It always has to be my own place or a hotel I chose/paid for. I no sabi play away matches even with familiar and willing sweeties, let alone with such a high risk target. Some men mumuness and desperation dey beyond comprehension. |
chikk:Yeah Yeah. And it's your type that would sheepishly and slavishly blurt 'yes sir yes sir' when your boss/employer barks out orders at you, even sexual orders... And then you'll go back home to do yanga for your cuckold husband and form gender equality. You "empowered" albeit misguided Nigerian females can be quite nauseating. |

Or maybe the "rumour" is nothing but a myth. Nobody knows.
