Tiny23:If only you'd be honest to admit how many times you have knowingly partaken in the 'chopping' of such "disgraceful" money by dating/sleeping with guys who have it. Not that you care though. |
ikp120:Your head dey there. Well said. |
It's a big disservice and insult to Atiku to liken him to the misfit and nincompoop called Donald Trump. |
5oyad:I am not the one making it a fuss, if you follow the arguments and counter arguments. See the first post I quoted to gain some clarity. Some women are making it look like Musa is some kind of asshole or jerk simply because he decided to take a second wife... Or simply because he decided to divorce his wife (HE left her, not the other way round) for not accepting that he should take a second wife. That's the fuss and the bone of contention here. |
MizTyna:Then what is it about? I don't see the need for all this long talk. A wealthy Northern Muslim Nigerian man chooses to marry multiple wives. Let's pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and ask: what is strange or unusual about this? Why do some girls of nowadays turn to unreasonable monsters simply because they managed to get an 'education', such that they begin to have unrealistic expectations? It really rankles! 90% of the popular elite Northern Muslims and perhaps up to 50% of Yoruba Muslims we know are married to more than one wife, so what exactly is the basis for the annoying entitlement mentality that the defunct wife is killing herself with? Every girl getting married to a Muslim man (especially a Northerner) can't claim not to foresee a situation where he might choose to marry another wife someday, sooner or later, which is the man's right and entitlement in our culture! What is this damn fuss about, for goodness sake? |
Amenya96:That adjective best describes you and your fellow parasites. |
Buharimustgo:Don't be silly. What did she suffer and endure? This kind of useless mentality makes me very angry. So he shouldn't marry a second wife if he so desires - a privilege that his culture and religion entitles him to? Let the ungrateful and deluded wife go and suffer and endure to make her own money, or to marry another premiership footballer, if it is that easy. She wants to be the solo madam to enjoy all the thousands of pounds that enter every week all alone - because she is the one that helped him get the contract or that empowers him to train and perform on the pitch abi? Bloody parasites and hopelessly deluded creatures. |
May thunder strike you dead if you've ever slept with a married man and yet want a faithful husband. This curse applies to the OP and every female commenter on this thread. |
Teewhy2:Accomplished indeed. Perhaps it's by runzing men like Amaechi and channeling the money she gets from them into so-called visible (but not necessarily profitable) ventures that she can lay claim to being "accomplished". |
LordAdam16:Lol. You certainly know what you're talking about. Only simpletons and gullible buffoons would dare to participate in this dodgy whistle-blowing programme in a country like ours. I mentioned it in a previous thread that it is far too risky and downright suicidal, but naive oafs wouldn't listen. Let them continue. Shebi whistle plenty for market. Let them go and buy and whistle themselves to their early graves. |
I am very happy to scream a super loud NTOOR to the busybody whistle-blower that would be left high and dry. Useless idiots. Somebody should help me with that Dino Melaye opolo eyes 'ntoor' meme. |
seunmsg:Such a daft hypocrite. I skin people like you alive with my bare hands. Shamelessly trying to be glib. So disgusting. |
Death is the final solution to all of one's problems, not only emotional problems. Suicide is just a means to that end (death), not an end in itself. |
All these hungry, self-important nonentities with grandiose titles. What does it mean to be a so-called 'World Bank Consultant', what exactly are you "consulting", and how does that make your opinion more credible than any other other random fellow or public policy/economic analyst? Idiot. |
rusher14:Let's agree that it is easy to 'anonymously' snitch on a looter using random emails and fake identities... But the hard part is receiving your so-called snitch commission. You'll have to be documented... We are talking about a Nigerian government agency and the typical Nigerian bureaucratic red-tape bottlenecks. The money would have to be delivered to you somehow... Wire transfer, cheque, or cash. In the midst of all that, someone there in the EFCC has to interact with you. Your identity can be easily ascertained along the line and revealed to the aggrieved looter in exchange for bribes. And if I am that aggrieved looter, God knows I'll place a price on your head with an open cheque.. I'll spend my last dollar hunting you down in any part of the world. Only a million dollars would be more than enough to get the best mercenary snipers and Eastern European hired killers to track you down anywhere on God's green Earth. If you couldn't let me enjoy my loot in peace, then there's no way you can enjoy your snitch commission in peace too. The kind of people who are rich and audacious enough to stash millions of dollars in cash at home are too dangerous and the stakes are too high. Unless you're anonymously whistle-blowing for its own sake (to expose looters and make the world a better place, lol), not because you expect to get paid a commission in return, then it's too dangerous and not worth the risk. |
mypains:That's mere wishful thinking. Remember that you would deal with real NIGERIAN human beings in the EFCC while providing information about money stashed somewhere. You would have to provide some details about yourself and all that for record/documentation purposes. It's very easy for someone right there in the EFCC to rat out on you and expose your identity to the person you snitched on. I don't see this whistle-blowing thing going very far. It's just a temporary fad that would lose steam very soon when people realise it's not worth it. Besides, remember that no whistle blower has been paid and will be paid UNTIL the court gives a verdict on the cases involving the money... Which can take years. It's not as if you will be paid some days after the EFCC confiscated money from an apartment. |
What does SARS stand for? Special Anti Robbery Squad... So what business does SARS have with someone that allegedly perpetrated fraud? What's the job of the police Special Fraud Unit (SFU) and the EFCC? The whole security architecture of this country is a huge joke. So much role confusion. |
In what way exactly does this Ruzu Bitters enhance erection and sexual performance? I need a detailed explanation. |
This kind of news depresses me. Too sad. Uber is a life safer, just as the likes of Jumia and Konga are. Why do these few retarded bastards keep making things difficult for millions of normal people? The PR damage of this isolated incident will be colossal. Why all this for goodness sake? |
MONITZ:True talk. |
slex:I don't understand. How did the thief get access to your bank card information - including your pin code and all that? |
Retrogressive, obnoxious, heavy-handed, counterproductive, and totally objectionable law. I admire Ambode's strides as a governor, but this so-called revenue generation drive cannot and should not proceed with such desperation. |
rusher14:The position of First Lady is not a 'public office'. She didn't manage any budget, neither did she have access to any public funds. She didn't hold any political position - elected or appointed... Other than the brief, Ill-advised stint as a ceremonial State Permanent Secretary at large (in absentia) in Bayelsa State. We all know that any money she has most likely came from gifts. That's the country we live in, and that's our culture. Even nobodies like us get monetary gifts from friends and relatives when we want to do weddings, birthdays, burials, or anything. Imagine the number of high profile friends and associates that someone like Nigeria's First Lady would have. Countless billionaires, businessmen and favour seekers would easily pay millions into her account as 'greeting money'. It's difficult to prove in any court that such gifts constitute money laundering or criminal acquisition of wealth. Let's not allow unnecessary frustration or sentiment becloud our common sense. |
lytech1:. Kingsley1000:I hate how broke ass, mentally lazy, and frustrated goats like you reason. Someone has no job, bla bla bla, so how did he or she make xyz money. This is very daft. Must everyone have a conventional job? What you should be asking is why hasn't the EFCC been able to establish before the court that Patience Jonathan acquired the money from criminal activities. It is their job to PROVE that she got the money illegally, not to ask foolish questions about how she got it. She doesn't owe them any explanation, and they have no right to dispute any explanation she chooses to offer. I may not have a conventional job (the idea of a 9-5 job is not for everyone), but I can make a million dollars in one day simply by being a middle man or a broker. I can link Mr A with Mr B and facilitate a massive transaction between them, and get paid a commission that runs into millions. Will you now see me living my kind of lifestyle and ask stupid questions like where do you work and what do you do? If you can prove that I got my money illegally, tender the evidence and stop asking foolish questions! Not everyone is cut out for working in one mumu office, earning one mumu salary, and settling for a mediocre existence. Some people choose to use their brains and scheme out a good life for themselves. You shouldn't be asking them foolish questions if you don't know how they got the money they have. |
And then what? The report/post and the actual action reek of idiocy. Why not tell us THE SOURCE of the money and how the possessor of the money came about it? Why should we sensationalise the mere inconsequential fact that money was found somewhere? Why these media trials and all the rubbish? Why not tell us how the owner of the money got the money (establish the ways and means) and how it constitutes corruption? The news shouldn't be that money was found. The news should be that ABC did XYZ to illegally acquire so so money which we found in so so location!!! |
May God never give us children that will bring us shame and infamy. Amen. |
Fake, heavily edited pictures. Far from the reality. I know that some people have pictures of her bare mammary glands and derriere, taken before her rise to Instagram infamy.. Post it online and end this LovePeddler's fakery once and for all. |
The power and potential of the Internet has not even been fully realised. Post a video on YouTube and virtually anyone, including a global super heavyweight like Diddy, can see it... Post a random advertisement on Nairaland and you would be shocked to receive calls and enquiries from as far as New Zealand and the Sultanate of Brunei. The concept of globalisation as we previously understood it is child's play compared to the social, political, cultural and economic integration of the world made possible by the Internet. Think about it this way. With the Internet, the entire world is your audience, your marketplace, and your prospective customer base. The opportunities are virtually endless. May God bless us with the right actionable idea(s)...to achieve things we could have never dared to imagine, courtesy of the Internet. |
Pieromania:The judges are not protecting their own. The government lacks diligent investigation/prosecution, and that's the crux of the matter. It's not enough to burst open people's doors at night like armed robbers, and subject them to public humiliation through media trials. |
Life has taught me that everything is ultimately meaningless. Our existence, our accomplishments, our failures, our petty and great worries, our passions, our experiences.... Everything! All transient and meaningless in the ultimate scheme of things. This lesson, if internalised, would force you to swallow a massive chill pill. |
Nigeria is a huge joke. A special unit of the police force unambiguously named Special ANTI-ROBBERY SQUAD now makes it its business to go after petty fraudsters who pose no deadly security risk to law abiding citizens.. And now apply deadly force against this category of 'light' criminals, for that matter... Just because they want to extort money from them. Where in the world does that happen? What then is the role of the EFCC or even the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigerian Police? Why is everything in Nigeria turned upside down? SARS only duty, by law, is to go after violent criminals, specifically armed robbers. Not even investigating violent criminals per se, but engaging them directly...similar to the S.W.A.T special police unit in the United States. It has no business with any other form of crime, let alone things like fraud. That is NOT NOT NOT their job. If we continue like this,, soon Road Safety officials would start raiding and arresting prostitutes on the road and extorting money from them. So much role confusion and total lawlessness among our security agencies, it is so sad. I get more depressed each day with the way things are in this country. |
Somebody will go to school to study Islamic wetin-call, and later come out to form 'intellectual' for us.... Using his professor of extremist religious WTF as basis to compete for secular positions. Nigeria tire person. |
