These kidnappers deserve the worst fate possible. The sheer audacity of their preferred occupation is hard to fathom. You'll just kidnap a random person that is experiencing life's travails in his or her own way, and you casually demand N5m as ransom? Just like that? They are supposed to rob a bank just to hand over the money to you, to regain freedom? So the rest of us who labour and plot different mental schemes to craft out a livelihood or fortune are fools, abi? These animals (kidnappers and armed robbers) should be skinned alive, literally. I'm still so angry that the murderous idiot nicknamed 'Vampire' was merely shot and allowed to die relatively peacefully. His two arms and legs should have been chopped off using blunt machetes, while whatever remains of his torso should have been locked up in a cage and thrown into a random forest... So that he would die at his own convenience.. As slowly as possible. Disgusting beasts. |
ebuks4ever:Making it HARD TO STEAL should be the major goal of any anti-corruption war in Nigeria, and this is exactly what Jonathan systematically tried to achieve. Nigeria can only evolve towards development. A push-button revolution is ruled out - simply because everyone is compromised. We simply do not have pure hearted, untainted, and single-minded revolutionaries in Nigeria. Put the currently noisy, hungry 'aluta continua' idiots in positions of power and all they would do is try to outdo their predecessors' looting and love of the grandeur of power. The champagne socialists in the present APC government provide enough proof of this. Nigeria is so bleeped up that there are simply no saints. The prior generations, the present one, and the next. Same story. No light at the end of the tunnel. Simple. All a good leader with honest intentions can do to help us evolve very slowly towards sanity is not the short-termic, myopic and counterproductive gra gra with EFCC and DSS to intimidate political opponents as usual, but to gradually block the systemic loopholes that make unbridled stealing and abuse of office possible. The BVN and the TSA initiated by Jonathan was a good start, and so it should have continued.... This Buhari draconian, selective, and ineffectual noise making and gestapo approach is a massive setback. It is simply a game of musical chairs. Motion without movement. Business as usual, ultimately. We are in soup until someone with sense comes along and does the needful. |
There's a lot of substance beneath the 'bimbo-ism' of our beloved Cossy. And what's more? Her grammar and use of English, though far from perfect, is far better than a lot of her contemporaries and detractors. |
sorry1:The number of Nigerians living abroad can't be less than 10 million. |
If I know where the overall boss Ben Peters dey, so na me go tell the useless EFCC? Yeye people. |
EnigmaticEnigma:Well, that doesn't affect riders. I'm more interested in riders' safety. |
One of the main selling points of uber is safety/credibility. If this is eroded, then the usual Nigerian factor would creep in, and that would be the beginning of the end. |
Is this an eyewitness account or hearsay? The information is sketchy. Any source? Provide more details if this really happened. Hope it didn't. |
Who is the bastard of a judge that granted bail to such a cold-blooded murderer and sociopath? N200, 000 bail and two sureties on like sum? Yet these fools are still detaining a harmless Kemi Olunloyo in prison and parading her around in handcuffs and in dirty prison clothes. Is this justice? Nigeria saddens me more and more each day. |
Some girls and their useless sense of entitlement. It's so ridiculous. You meet a guy and you have consensual fun... During which period the guy must have borne the expenses associated with the casual affair. Thereafter you start feeling entitled to his commitment or to whatever else. What the hell is this about for goodness sake? |
Davido predict am. 30 billyon for the account eh... |
On seat, not on "sit". |
rickkychidex111:So what is wrong or degrading about using uber? You think it's for poor people or what? I'm sure you've never used uber and have no idea what it is or how it works. You think say na kabukabu japopy be uber? |
Not as bad as I expected. |
I agree, and it's not because of Melaye and his travails. |
Your arguments are very feeble. |
vandutchjoungen:Apt. That's all. |
Nigeria is a dysfunctional society. The unit's name is clearly Special ANTI-ROBBERY Squad. Anti-Robbery! Why then have they unlawfully expanded their mandate to tracking so-called yahoo boys and intimidating regular folks daily? Their specific mandate is to deal with proven armed robbers, especially deadly ones that the regular police may not be able to handle. Why then are they suddenly a hydra headed unit with no clear job specification? We have a serious problem in this country. |
Doesn't change the facts of the case. Only shows how desperate the Apostle is (using intimidation, inducement, and perhaps manipulation) to alter the public perception of the issue at hand. Only the hopelessly gullible would be fooled, as usual. |
And yet, more than half of the street lights in the capital city of Abuja are not working. Are these fools even serious? |
Yeah. Nigeria is the 5th most dangerous place in the world for Americans to visit, but the MOST dangerous place in the world for Nigerians to live. Ironic, somewhat. |
prettyboi1989:That's a compliment he doesn't deserve. The only Daft Punk I know is the dynamic and legendary French music duo. This idiot is less than human. He's a maggot at best. I spit in disgust at this thing. |
I don't understand how some human beings can be so wicked. Is there some kind of medical or psychological explanation for the sheer coldheartedness with which some people operate? And we all live in the same society with these people, pass by them in our daily commutes, possibly even socialise with them without knowing what they are capable of? God forbids. Life don tire me abeg. Make God do quick kuku end this world. It's not a comfortable place at all. |
Looking at this 'Apostle' with my trained eyes, all I can do is smirk. 48 Laws of Power: LAW 12: USE SELECTIVE HONESTY & GENEROSITY TO DISARM YOUR VICTIM(S). |
nonjebose:You're right. If we narrow it down to practice, then it should be Olanipekun.... Oyebode also made it largely from law (though he reinvested massively in other sectors) and he is stupendously wealthy. There's also this lawyer that owns the sprawling high rise called Rebecca Court in Banana Island, can't remember his name now. Heard he cleaned out in oil & gas law. As for Baba Afe, I'm not sure he made his fortune mainly from law. The man way no too pure. |
Crieff:Really? Didn't know much about him before now. Could he be affiliated to the acclaimed G.O.K Ajayi? |
This is crazy. Classic example of when God picks a person's call. |
Remove that garrulous fraudster Jimoh Ibrahim and you'll have a pretty good list. I agree with over half of the names on that list. Tunde, Afe, Olanipekun, Oyebode, Ogunsanya, are unspeakably wealthy. That I know for sure. |
Crieff:Do you think he is worth more or less? |
sasko:Don't mind the miserable parasites. I only blame men for their relentless lust, if not, why would women think they're doing you a favour by giving you their number? At the end of the day they would be a financial and emotional burden to you. |
Thieves always look stupid when apprehended and paraded alongside their loot. |
123papas:Drink beer? Does that help? |
