InvestmentRe: MMM Nigeria End Of Year Party By Chuddy Ugorji, Moves With Bodyguards (Photos) by hedonistic: 8:38pm On Dec 21, 2016
This guy is definitely my MAN OF THE YEAR.

For some reason, I like people who profit from the folly of others. Foolishness is annoying, and should be penalised. As the Bible puts it, a fool and his money are soon parted.

The true story is that they are all gay and he has been blackmailing his rich clients after sleeping with them ..Can't you see Gaydom written all over this
This makes a lot of sense, as I simply cannot accept that any Nigerian man, no matter how rich, would send N1m to a purported girl he has never met based on one stupid story or the other.

The most common scam is for girls to request for transport fare from their mugu (often small sums ranging from N5k to N30k), and after the money is sent they simply disappear.
PoliticsRe: Rerun: Police To Demand Wike’s Call Data This Week by hedonistic: 7:48am On Dec 19, 2016
Nonsense. Why is the police not applying the same zeal in dealing with the SARS commander implicated in a rigging scandal in Rivers State?

Meanwhile, why is Wike using an MTN line? He should know better now. Many security conscious big boys I know don't use Nigerian mobile networks for their important phone communications. They use foreign mobile numbers backed with satellite communication networks (Thuraya) or encrypted Voip numbers here.
PoliticsRe: Contract Scam: SGF Sets Presidency, Senate On Collision Course by hedonistic: 7:39am On Dec 19, 2016
Indeed. We all remember the noise APC nitwits made when Stella Oduah's alleged contract scam came up. Why are they all suddenly silent about the relentless corruption allegations against key Buhari appointees such as the SGF and the Chief of Staff?

In any case, it is clear that Buhari's anti-corruption crusade is a tasteless joke, and can't even be compared to Obasanjo's modest efforts during his time. Obasanjo didn't disturb himself hounding past government officials or opposition figures. Instead, he focused on elements WITHIN his own government and sacked and prosecuted several of his own serving officials including ministers, the IGP, and others. Why can't Buhari take a clue from this and forget about Jonathan and former PDP people and focus on his own appointees instead? Should that not be the best way to fight corruption?
CareerRe: Exxonmobil To Pay N350m Each As Severance Package To Sacked Senior Employees by hedonistic: 7:02am On Dec 19, 2016
This is ridiculous. No wonder most graduates' ultimate white collar dream is to work in an 'oyel company'.

I'm dead sure that the affected workers' contributions to ExxonMobil are negligible at best, yet they are rewarded with a king's ransom at retrenchment.

Being at the right place at the right time is the most important requirement for this thing called success.

BusinessRe: Mike Adenuga Names A Street After Himself In Banana Island, Residents Kick by hedonistic: 4:05pm On Dec 17, 2016
Aigbofa:
Mike Adenuga is not loud, he is more private than Dangote. Almost reclusive.
Well, being reclusive or private doesn't preclude being conceited. Adenuga's reclusiveness is partly due to his extreme arrogance. He almost thinks of himself as some sort of god that must be worshipped, thus reducing his social exposure to reduce his chances of demystification. He hasn't recovered from the disgrace meted out to him by Obasanjo in 2006 when EFCC agents broke down his high walls, dragged him out of his wardrobe where he was hiding in his pee-soaked pyjamas, and bundled him into detention for a few days before the likes of General Jemibewon begged Obasanjo on his behalf. Not quite the kind of experience a big headed 'god' would expect in the hands of mere mortals.

Dangote might be more sociable, but he is also FAR more self-effacing and FAR less arrogant than this megalomaniac called Adenuga.

Nigeria is a very sad place. Banana Island and the other so-called high brow areas are all glorified ghettos, artificially overpriced for no other reason than to assuage the violent egos of the mostly insecure rich people who acquired their wealth illicitly.

The best estates in Nigeria, sadly, are those built and maintained by oyinbos or MNCs for their expatriate and local workers... Shell Camp in PH, Bonny Island, Chevron, IITA in Ibadan, etc. These places are by far more organised, beautiful and livable than useless status symbol locations like Banana Island, Lekki 1 and so forth.

So this guy is essentially an inter-state thief? Marauding around different states (probably in the South West where his Yoruba juju might work best) looking for people to defraud? Kai.
BusinessRe: Mike Adenuga Names A Street After Himself In Banana Island, Residents Kick by hedonistic: 9:49pm On Dec 16, 2016
Adenuga has always been the most insecure, narcissistic and megalomanic billionaire in Nigeria, so this is merely true to type.

Why is this not yet on the front page?

It's a big shame really. This Seun Egbewhatever is a dirty petty thief... And the fact that the so-called actress allowed herself to be entangled with this kind of character makes her even more dirty and deserving of contempt. I spit on both of them.

Useless things.

Then a more strong man in Hamid Ali will be appointed. Magu should be made Custom Boss and Ali should head EFCC... He don't need any screen to be Custom boss lobatan.
Which Hamid Ali? The mumu that is doing anya ula in Customs HQ while business continues as usual? Lol. Ask the average Customs officer how far so you'll know. His unofficial title in informal conversations of most officers is Onuku, Didirin, Swegbe, Dundee and every imaginable variation of MUMU in different Nigerian languages! The dumb idiot knows nothing, and has even settled down to a life of hedonism and complacency... Enjoying the perks offered by his office while being bamboozled at every turn by the officers around him - since he doesn't understand the basic ABCs of how things work there...

You people need to wake up to the fact that these guys are as clueless and CORRUPT as everyone else. Nothing has changed between 1999 and 2016, except the main actors.

I know of another prof whom I used to hold in very high esteem until one of his sons was compensated with the post of commissioner in one of the states, and since then this prof will defend the indefensible and now believes that all the persons he stood against in the past are no longer the problem.
Well, unlike you, I am quite shameless about naming and shaming yeye people, and less charitable than you, too. As such, I am more than willing to name and shame Prof Wole Soyinka as the 'anywhere belle face' pseudo-intellectual who mortgaged his conscience and goodwill over a mess of tasteless amala and ewedu (worshipping Tinubu and the APC since he was placed on monthly stipends some years ago and had his son appointed a commissioner in Ogun State).

A very rich man wants a young and loyal girl for a wife...
Don't mind these deluded bimbos.

So if I have N500m in liquid assets as a successful young man, I would go and marry one pompous, egotistical, self-important, possibly infertile 36-year-old hag? I dey mad? When I can easily pick the freshest, most beautiful, nubile and most loyal (almost to the point of zombieism if I want sef) 20-something year old lady from a decent middle class background!

Some women don't seem to understand what the average man wants.

The Maje Ayida or Teebillz kind of 'over-package' guy with pseudo appearances of success whose goal is to chop her money is the kind of man Linda would end up with. Just watch and see.

Here's a simple solution. Make money, and feed the poor with your own money. Let the self-centred Folawiyo go to hell with his money while you make heaven. That should be simple enough, innit?
