Lola, I can see your handwork in 3D. Well done. |
E be like say E-Money don stop to dey pay. |
Calbarian:The point is that, assuming Jonathan and the past leaders were pious men who failed to loot, what would happen to them now? Where would they get money for their upkeep and sundry expenses? Would they not be going cap in hand to beg for crumbs from the government and government officials? Where is the encouragement there or the example there for current people in government to be honest? There are clear parallels to be drawn. |
AnonyNymous:Atiku is a good leader and manager of men and resources. Let's put sentiments aside. He has what it takes to mobilise a winning team to get Nigeria out of the mess that the Daura idiot has put us into. Everything doesn't boil down to shouting kwarapshun kwarapshun. It takes advanced managerial acumen and decision making skills, which I know Atiku has in abundance. |
Atiku is a successful businessman with the midas touch and a human face. He would definitely be good for Nigeria in 2019. We have had enough of the incompetent, brain-dead, and terribly bigoted cattle-rearer-in-chief currently holding sway in Aso Rock. Since they want a Northerner by all means to rule Nigeria, then I can't think of a better Northerner at this point in time than Atiku. I stand with Atiku '19. |
Old news, old picture. This happened sometime in 2014...or maybe we're talking about a different Bugatti. How many are in Lagos now? |
The shameful fact that a police officer, one that is the spokesperson and image maker of the state police command for that matter, can publicly fawn over a character like Shina Peller speaks volumes about the kind of country we live in. I reserve further comments. |
You see why Nigeria is not prepared to end corruption? People who hold important public positions are paid peanuts, and even the peanuts are never paid as and when due... And when they retire, the peanuts are not paid at all. Yet you don't want them to help themselves while in office? So that they would starve to death or crawl to your desk to beg you for crumbs while you feel important? The case of my own father would forever be an example that rubbishes any call to integrity in public service in Nigeria. The pious old man worked in one of the juiciest government jobs in Nigeria and rose to a very senior position before he retired. Most of his colleagues including his juniors retired as billionaires or multi millionaires at the very least, while he retired with barely enough to feed for one year... Today, his perennial humiliation whenever he tries to collect his miserable and irregular pension is a sad, sad testimony about why only fools would fail to LOOT mercilessly while they have the opportunity. The Nigerian society is not yet ready for honest men. The system is not structured to reward uprightness and probity. That's the fact. Until we do the right things to correct this anomaly, any talk about fighting corruption would amount to a spectacular waste of time. |
kelvinkosi:What an idiotic statement. So misguidedly joining a cult makes you an 'extraordinary' mortal? What have you and your fellow insecure dolts (who seek validation by belonging to deviant groups) invented or contributed to mankind that makes you extraordinary? Does dancing drunkenly around one obscure bush under the influence of hard drugs or fomenting violence in one dark off-campus corner make you a more worthy member of society? Look at them gloating and bleating all over this thread like junkies on extacy. Why not go and book an appointment with Ekweremadu and collect money from him if you think you share some kind of brotherhood with him! Lost souls who have zero confidence in themselves and must latch on to some worthless group cause for self-validation. What kind of buffoons populate this forum? |
Men don't "cheat" ; they philander. The concept of cheating is exclusive to women. Besides, any man who is 100% faithful is GUARANTEED to have an unfaithful wife. Nature abhors a moral vacuum. One has to be 'bad' in order for the other to be good. Where there is good, there must be bad. That's the kind of equilibrium that maintains the universe. God forbids that I or any other sensible man takes on that SOLO ticket of 'goodness'. That's the woman's role. From experience, the most prolific philanderers have the most faithful and dutiful wives, while the holy holy over-principled mumu guys often end up with women who outsmart them for the mumu that they are, and are always more likely to be cuckolds. Guys, doubt me at your own peril. |
Atiku over Buhari anytime any day. If it must be a Northerner in 2019, then Atiku it must be for 2019. He is a far more competent leader than the close-minded, and bigoted simpleton currently in Aso Rock. |
kcnwaigbo:Nigerian law enforcement is a huge joke. See the stupid charges. Received money. Received money. Received money. Is receiving money, in itself and by itself, a crime? Is evidence of receiving money enough proof to secure conviction? How about investigating and establishing the illegality that necessitated the transfer of such monies? Why can't the EFCC establish the CRIME underpinning the transfer of such monies? I just tire for how we run things here. Everything shouldn't be by gra gra. |
I like Reno's loyalty to the Jonathan cause. Very impressive. |
This woman dey make person vex. |
Amelian:This is probably the most 'grounded' post I have read here from a member with an 'f' moniker. Life is just a difficult place. All sorts. |
Sad, sad, sad story. |
Tell me more about the Ikechukwu incident. Old, but it's one for the records. |
obontami:People have a deep-seated inferiority complex/insecurity problem, that's why most people have a herd ('follow follow,' 'I must belong') mentality. That's what explains why people want to go to a useless place like Quilox, or here in Abuja, overpriced and overrated places like The Bank and Caramelo. I remember clubbing in a very lovely and cool setting in Egbeda in Lagos...in a cool hotel called DE Santos. Very lovely, low key club right inside the hotel. Lovely infrastructure and lovely music. We had a blast with my crew and bountifully tipped the grateful DJ and bouncers for making us very happy indeed. Left the damn club around 6.am... To show you how sweet the experience was. We must all understand something: Happiness is relative. The guys who drink Hero Beer and consume pepper soup in one small garden with music playing in the background (on a change-must-remain budget of N10k for a four-man crew) have FAR more fun/happiness/fulfilment than the desolate wannabes who hustle their way into a stupid overrated club to spend N100k in a few hours - with nothing but bruised egos and deflated spirits to show for it. The bouncers would shoo and boo you out immediately they notice your yeye bottles are empty and you're not trying to buy more. N100K wasted alongside a forfeited dignity. Having experienced a lot in the last decade and beyond, God knows I wouldn't burn money on nonsense that doesn't give me utmost satisfaction... High emphasis on UTMOST... Whether a club, joint, women, or anything. No free money to dash any idiot for nothing. You must exert some kind of value, make it worthwhile for me. It's not compulsory to club in the most 'happening' places. As long as the environment is cozy enough, and the music is good enough, I am happy. In fact, the less crowd, the better sef. |
Fhowe:The Second sensible comment here after Paul's comment. I remember a club in Festac a few years ago called Pearl Harbour. It was the most bubbling and best patronised club in Festac then..... Until a nasty violent incident happened that led to a girl's death right inside the club premises. And of course the club was shut down... Ending what was a lucrative money spinner for the co-owners then.. People need to have sense. It's incredible that a bouncer in a watering hole would have the audacity to attack a customer regardless of the provocation. In any case, most times there is in fact a needless provocation by the bouncers/staff that causes the so-called overreaction. Bouncers and waiters in such alcohol driven environment MUST be trained and expected to be civil, placatory and extremely sensitive in their interactions with likely tipsy customers. Unless someone is a demon, it's hard to see how he would slap a bouncer for no reason at all. The bouncer must have made rude remarks or behaved disrespectfully while purporting to prevent his associate from going inside. You CANNOT do that as a bouncer or bartender in a club where the customer is paying 500% more than the usual town price for any drink being ordered. Certain things are too ridiculous to even imagine. You are not doing the customer a favour. |
No big deal. It's easy to do when you have lots of money to spare. Doesn't make you a 'better' or more loving guy than the guy whose earnings can only afford him a pair of N800 slippers for his girlfriend. Some Dasuki men pay as much as N500k for a night of sex with runs girls... While many other guys can't even raise N500k to organise their wedding with their beloved partners. Doesn't and shouldn't indicate anything. |
These people are funny. Tekno's Duro was arguably one of the biggest hits of last year... Along with Wash and the others. Plus the Pana of this year. He is clearly one of the biggest and most successful artistes in Nigeria since last year at least. He is too big for this next rated nonsense. |
genali:Where can someone get a N250k self-con apartment I'm Zone 2 or 3? What's the arrangement like? |
chubbygal:Ivory B... Let's say 7.pm. Deal? |
I'll have to say that it is chief commander Prince engineer Arthur Eze, the Ozoigbondu 1 of Igbo land, the living Oracle of wealth and grand custodian of limitless prosperity. I need to meet him very soon. |
Useless animals. All of them called Nigerian soldiers, without exception. Bunch of undisciplined ragtag idiots who were privileged to be employed by the armed forces through their connections to one political godfather or traditional ruler. What a sick country. |
avril9:Common mechie onu dia. Go and make your own money and then whenever you want to give any couple money at their wedding, put your own money in an envelope and give it to them! Don't come here to advise an Oracle like Arthur Eze how to spend his billions. Don't you see how stupid it makes you look? |
Twaci:Having or expressing your opinion is radically different from being OPINIONATED. Consult your dictionary for the difference between 'opinion' and 'opinionated', and then come back if you have further enquiries. Being opinionated is EXACTLY what the pastor is advising you CHRISTIAN women against. |
ifenes:You people have a problem. No religion is forced upon anybody, at least not here in Nigeria and in other democracies. If you or any woman rejects the idea EXPLICITLY STATED IN THE BIBLE, then what stops you from rejecting Christianity? But if you willingly subscribe to the doctrine of Christianity and believe in the Bible, why quarrel with its teachings? This is very ridiculous. |
Seun:What's even more shocking is that you can make sweeping conclusions and assumptions... Implying that "all women" want the same thing or have the same orientations. Abi na for programming and tech your sense finish? |
Nigeria is not a serious country, and I am very ashamed to be a Nigerian. If the combined security forces cannot muster enough resources to maintain the peace in just ONE state election which they had enough time to prepare for, what will happen during the general elections on 2019? The new Buhari INEC has declared virtually every small state and senatorial district election since last year inconclusive. Is it this same hopeless INEC that can be trusted to conduct credible elections in 2019? Looking at the whole picture, should we even expect elections to hold at all in 2019? Nigeria is a messed up society, and it is now more messed up than ever under Buhari. Such a shame. |
My M5 has had issues with Google Play Store for months now. Can't download or update any apps... Always stuck at "downloading" or "download pending". And I've tried all the usual recommended front line solutions - clear cache, clear data, force stop, download latest version of Google Play, blah blah blah. No solution in sight. The thing don tire me. |
