Bhuldoxxa:Lol. The guy's assertion is the classical example of ambiguity in the use of language... And shows why every little coma, apostrophe, question mark, and full stop etc. counts. An omission can make the difference between life and death. Oyinbo know wetin dem dey do. |
Empathy. I know that feeling. But patience heals it. It is remarkable the way things turn around. And Yahweh proves Himself God in the most unexpected ways. Endure a bit. |
gbosaa:My brother, this is the ultimate example of what is meant by 'life is unfair'. |
Carlos Tevez, the world's highest-paid player on £600,000-a-week.God WHY? £600,000 x N600 = N360m EVERY WEEK! Again, I protest, GOD WHY? *Looks at my life dejectedly.* |
HtwoOw:Maybe it's these Romanian, Polish, Pakistani, or Vietnamese hackers. Trust me they are extremely capable and good, but they are not greedy... Unlike Nigerians. They do it for the fun of it and for the love of it. Olodo Nigerian yahoo/wire boys make millions of dollars using these kinds of guys. Well, on a side note, this just brought a smile to my face. Crime is not good, agreed, but there is something about this kind of crime that is somewhat tolerable by me, rather than the old fashioned robbery/kidnapping situation that inflicts too much trauma and misery. |
Is it not this stupid, one-legged philosophy lecturer in the University of Ibadan? This very stupid assertion calls his senses into question. |
Coolest kid in Africa. |
Justbeu:Please can you tell us the full story of how this monster "snatched" your ex fiancee (how they met/the circumstances of your break up) and the aftermath? Do you also know the true story behind why he killed her and other members of her family? Kindly let us know the details. We would all learn a thing or two. |
His fiancee would live with the trauma for a very, very, very long time. It's easy to say that he shouldn't have argued or fought, but this is a classical case of spur of the moment/heat of the moment 'typical' reaction gone bad. It's just a matter of misfortune. May God keep helping us with that all-important halo of grace. It's too important. |
The man could have done better. Then again, this is most likely a fake twitter gist as usual. |
Dayo and Yemi went in and abducted and covered his (Abdulrahman) face. We took him out in his car and we drove him into a forest by Oke-Olowo and we had an argument and Abdulraman’s face got opened and he saw me and called my name. He threatened to deal with me when he is out and I shot him. He didn’t die instantly, we took him to a spot within the forest and dumped him.Well, that's what happens when you do not have situational awareness and social intelligence... Especially during difficult circumstances. It's best to pretend you did not see or know the person,. That's the smart thing to do in such a situation. |
Jeez. This had better not be another case of kidnapping or murder. |
This is really sad. Isn't that why we prefer jungle justice? A monster like this that has killed uncountable people and brought misery to many families shouldn't be allowed to escape justice so easily. Besides, who knows how many more innocent lives would be wasted by this beast now that he is free? Nigeria saddens me more and more each day. Nothing works. Nothing is right. All wrong. |
Eeya. I was hoping he would pull off another sensational prison break. But now that he has been extradited to the USA, I have to say that it is all over for him, sadly. E don be. |
Looking at the picture reminded me of my very deep and refreshing conversation with a learned comrade some weeks ago about the subjectivity and relativity of 'value'. I mean, this watch only has value in our eyes now because we were told that it costs xyz amount. This means that its value is not inherent or intrinsic. Instead it's value is attached or cosmetic....artificial. The moment we humans learn to ignore these artificial attachments of value, we would be truly liberated. Read up the story of Mansa Musa's legendary pilgrimage to Mecca and how his excessive gifting of pure gold along the way caused gold to be almost worthless and less valuable than mere flowers... They you would understand. |
The idiot would end up like Buhari, worse than Jammeh... Carried away by the perks and paraphernalia of presidential power and would settle down to mediocrity. Gambians should be sorry for themselves like we are now. Story of Africa. No high hopes. |
greenhulk:But we all know that the police has a penchant for arresting and victimising innocent people. This is not hearsay, most of us know about this. However, I agree with you that segments of out police force are very effective and can do better if given the right incentives, and I'm referring particularly to the IGP's IRT, especially Abba Kyari. These guys are extremely competent on a good day, in fact, more so than ANY unit in Nigeria's hopeless and useless Army/Military. The mobile police and special units like the IRT have day to day experience investigating and combating real world criminality, unlike the useless Army fools who spend their time looking for which UNARMED civilian to shout at and order to 'frog jump'. I have comparatively more faith in the (special units of the) police, and I know they are more efficient and competent than our military, only less armed, less motivated, and most importantly, less hyped. |
Under Buhari's watch, Nigeria is more divided than ever. |
EgunMogaji:You're a brainless idiot. Don't mention me again. Fool. |
alezzy13:Well, fair enough. I like your seeming nonpartisanship. But if you ask me and if I have to choose between both men, I would certainly choose GEJ because he has better leadership qualities, had a better TEAM, and would have put forward better policies if he were in power today.... Bearing in mind that bad polices are the major reason why we're in this economic mess. Forget the stories about falling oil prices. That doesn't explain why prices of foodstuff and other basic, locally produced commodities have skyrocketed within two years since GEJ left... Even though the prices of these items are totally unrelated to forex earnings and were totally stagnant between 2007 and early 2015. |
EgunMogaji:Then you're a brainless maggot, as I suspected. I explicitly warned you not to resort to stupid and empty and MEANINGLESS one liners, yet you couldn't resist There is a complex narrative here, which you failed to grasp, being the nitwit you are. If you cannot tell us what the guy did wrong and what you could have done better (and most importantly, what might have resulted from your alternative "manly" reaction), then you shouldn't have said anything at all. Foolish one liners don't make you look smart. Make an argument and spell out your thought process. |
EgunMogaji:Tell us exactly what you would have done in his position. Don't try to be witty. No open ended and meaningless one liner please. Narrate exactly what you would do if you come back home one day and catch your wife in bed with her lover and thereafter they both boot you out of your own house. Patiently waiting. |
alezzy13:What is stale and unbearably boring is the misguided notion that GEJ didn't live up to expectations. Now, with benefit of hindsight, would you prefer a return to the GEJ era or would you prefer we rot in the miserable cesspit we are now stuck in under Buhari? Your response would say everything about you that we need to know. |
maclatunji:Listen to yourself and you would notice just how despicable you are. Perhaps too much hitting of your forehead on the ground has permanently damaged your mental facilities. So in the midst of all the serious challenges (as a result of Buhari's clueless leadership) facing Nigeria now, does it make sense that a "serious" government should allocate scarce time and resources to combating rumour mongering about the president's health? Some of you are too annoying to condone. Oya exercise your empty e-power by banning me. That's all you can do. Doesn't change the truth of the words I uttered here. Nonsense! |
The quality (or lack thereof) of individuals in important government positions in Nigeria leaves much to be desired. It's so shameful how they always lack creativity and are incapable of problem-solving strategic thinking. Whenever simple challenges arise, their default LAZY solution is always to pluck the low hanging fruit - increase tariff, ban this, remove subsidy on that, introduce new fees on that. What a hopeless country populated by hopeless individuals in high places. Very depressing really. |
cummando:You're a despicable idiot. It's a shame that slowpoke.s like you find your way into the armed forces - no thanks to Nigeria's rotten system of nepotism and connections that relegate merit, genuine patriotism, and passion. Keep forming rubbish online. You'll soon meet your waterloo. I promise you that. |
Omoluabi16:Very punchy and succinct summary of the state of affairs. |
This Buhari government is officially the worst in Nigeria's history. I mean, how can any serious government commit scarce time and resources to fighting something as mundane and trivial as "rumour mongering", while overlooking the more serious issues of rampaging Fulani murderers, exponential increase in rate of kidnapping nationwide, crippling abject poverty, and comatose economy? What have Nigerians done to themselves by foolishly ushering this animalistic Daura bastard and his group of clueless goons into power? I feel really sorry for us as a country. Worse days are ahead. Let's brace up. The only solution is to hope and pray that this disgusting Daura idiot doesn't make it back to Nigeria. Osibanjo looks like someone with a brain at least; he is a thousand light years better to have at the helm of affairs. |
Aawizdom:Obey which law? Why are some of you bastards so daft? |
If I pay $1.5m to one Angela Okorie random character for her random pussy, how much would I pay to sleep with Nicki Minaj? $100 billion? |
This guy let's off a gay aura. I hope I am wrong about that, cos other than that, I like his irreverent persona. Keyword: Irreverent. |
