Souljaboi1:You're unusually articulate for a typical Nigerian soldier who is brain dead at best. Sorry, but most of you inspire disgust because of your indiscipline and barbarism, and this feeling is pervasive. However, since you write very well (by ordinary standards) and seem to be a 'correct omo boy', what you do think about civil/military relations in Nigeria? What is your objective opinion about the wanton brutality and cowardly oppressive tendencies most of you display towards UNARMED and DEFENCELESS civilians everyday in the streets? I know it is almost impossible for you to give an objective and constructive opinion because the Nigerian military is no different from a regular cult like Aiye or Eiye. The only difference is that you're empowered and backed by the Sovereign Majesty of the Nigerian State... Which confers institutional legitimacy and authority. Which means you can do rubbish in broad daylight and brandish government issued rifles around to intimidate others because 'we be Army', while the average Aiye or Eiye cultist would be hiding his gun and moving around in darkness. But you're essentially the same in terms of that 'speak no evil about my comrades' mentality, disguised as the so called 'espirit de corps' among confraternities like cults and the Nigerian military. Otherwise, I would like you to provide an objective assessment of civil-military relations in Nigeria, and tell us if you think it is 'normal' or 'appropriate' for military goons to operate with so much impunity and indiscipline in the way they brutalise defenceless citizens daily. |
His first? With all his hits in quick succession and his clearly massive prospects? Smh. It seems celebrity endorsement deals in Nigeria are enmeshed in the usual 'padi padi' or 'man know man' lobby lobby Naija arrangement, otherwise this kind of guy should have had numerous endorsements by now. |
This guy is one of the most consistent and self-renewing artistes in Nigeria. He's just incredible. Big ups to him. |
Interesting. |
I'm forced to agree. Sex is probably the most overrated thing in life, after life itself. Just yesterday, I laid a super curvy and big booty girl I've been programing for a while, and after everything, I felt incredibly unfulfilled. Like, so what's the whole point? Was it worth it? Kai. It's just a scam. |
cummando:This guy, you're truly a waste of sperm and a big idiot. I know your type. Typing useless threats online like a little bitch. You're the type of spineless coward who joined the military (through connections, not on merit mind you) for self validation and group strength.... The same reason why many chickens join cult groups in higher institutions and in street corners. You're the type who would quickly call for back up and wait for you fellow khaki-wearing idiots to arrive before you can "show strength'. Alone and unarmed, you are as weak as your grand mother and totally useless. Where is the strength in that? What makes you special, then? I remember one uniformed second lieutenant that was beaten like a kid and pushed into the gutter by a single 'bloody civilian' (rugged lawyer) over an avoidable parking space dispute some years ago in Abuja. The soldier wanted to escalate the simple parking space matter and show power by slapping a peaceful lawyer in public. When the lawyer retaliated by raining blows on him, all the foolish officer could do was reach desperately for his phone to call for backup (as usual). The rugged lawyer punched the phone off his hand and pushed him into a nearby gutter. Of course several minutes later, a contingent of uniformed Zombies arrived, baying for blood, but it was too late. The 'unknown lawyer' had proved his point and disappeared into the shadows, till today. Where is the strength? Where is the power? If all you can do is rely on your government-issued rifles and backup from several armed colleagues? Who are you as an individual? You're nothing. Worthless. |
cummando:This line of reasoning is so predictable, and is the main reason why you smelly animals perpetuate your unprofessionalism and indiscipline. Who told you that the average male civilian cannot protect himself (alone or in groups) IF ARMED AND EMPOWERED to do so? Is the rag tag Boko Haram gang of illiterate Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri urchins who have held the entire Nigerian Armed Forces hostage for several years now not enough proof of what "bloody civilians" can do if armed? LET'S FACE IT, IF THE CIVILIAN RAG TAG BOKO HARAM HAVE THE SAME NUMBER OF FIGHTERS AS THE NIGERIAN ARMY PERSONNEL, AND ARE ARMED WITH THE SAME WEAPONS AND AMMUNITIONS, WOULD BOKO HARAM NOT EASILY DEFEAT The I'LL-MOTIVATED AND COWARDLY ARMY IN A FULL-FRONTAL WAR? OF COURSE THEY WILL! Most importantly, who told you that you're doing us civilians a 'favour' by "protecting" us? Look at this bastard. Who send you work? You chose a career, wilfully joined the military knowing fully well its implications. You were not conscripted into the armed forces against your wish. You lobbied and begged one retired general, traditional ruler, or senator from your village to help you get the job. It was a voluntary choice made with very dishonorable intentions, contrary to the perverse altruistic motives you're insinuating. You are paid salaries and allowances; you are gainfully employed... At tax payers' expense. This employment was made possible by your connections. There are millions of Nigerians who are desperate to join the military but since they do not have godfathers or connections they remain 'bloody civilians', yet you bastard who got a job through one senator or emir, you have the guts to call them "ingrates", as if you are doing then a favour! There's a lot more I can say here, but I am too angry to continue. Besides I know you barely educated fools have zero comprehension abilities. So you can't understand a word of what I've written here. You'll get what's coming to you very soon. It's a promise. |
kYjelly2:Can you recount what happened in detail? How, where and why? |
A picture speaks a thousand words, each of which can have multiple interpretations. The assumption that the governor stretched out his hand for a handshake might be erroneous....or incomplete. |
Road travel in Nigeria is now an incredibly risky venture, with unreasonably high chances of encountering a tragic situation posed by numerous risk factors. If you don't get robbed, you might get kidnapped, and if you're a female, you risk being raped, and on top of it all, there is the ever present risk of road accidents. May God help us. |
The miserable old bastard should die already. |
This 'naija single girl' fakery and fuckery is quite annoying. Does it mean that she will never get married? Or the blog/website would be renamed 'naija married woman' afterwards, if ever? |
If he's the kind of guy I am, and a self-respecting one with a healthy ego, you better call him and apologise for your stupidity. It's that simple. I've always said it and I stand by it that ONLY foolish guys have their proposal rejected. I mean, I don't understand the concept of rejected proposal. For me to tell a girl that I want to marry her (with or without a ring, kneeling down or standing up), it means that I am one billion percent sure that she has been pestering me small small about us settling down. Only very wimpy and foolish men would be begging a woman with proposal that has uncertain response. . Imagine me now being convinced that we're cool together and good for marriage, and proposing to you, only for you to say rubbish. You would have to beg with blood in your eyes for me to reconsider you. A friend of mine dumped his girl for that reason (she was complaining that he didn't buy her what he wanted... That he was stingy and selfish) and married his friendly ex that has been on his case within months. The other girl is in her mid thirties now and still full of avoidable regrets. Free advice: Forget feminism, forget gender equality. As a woman if you know you like the guy just forget foolish egotistical behaviours and be real. Otherwise you would regret it. |
Sorry about that. Treachery is very common, and has been so since creation. However, hope you're not a poor judge of character. Otherwise, you should have discerned about initio that this guy isn't the kind of person you get too chummy or charitable with. |
slap1:You people should stop spewing foolish opinions here and pretend you have sense. Whose fault is it if you allow your three year old daughter to watch a movie CLEARLY RATED 16 or 18? How is this different from letting your children watch these Naija music videos of Davido and Wizkid et al with half naked women and sexually suggestive imagery? What of the Tecno and other Naija artistes brazenly lewd lyrics 'I get big cassava' and the rest? The point is that it is your responsibility to safeguard your underage children from potentially corrupting adult content, especially when the ratings of such content are explicitly indicated - as is always the case with Chiwetalu Agu's films! You can't impose your nonsensical (and certainly hypocritical) notions of morality on other adults. If you have nothing meaningful to say, keep quiet. It's not compulsory to express an opinion on every issue, just to soibd intelligent. --------------------------------------- N.B. Chiwetalu Agu is my all time favourite Nigerian actor... He's the only celebrity that would make me star struck if I ever get to see him in real life. Abeg no stop your hilarious exclamations o. You too much. Forget that Gideon nonentity. |
frisky2good:Most naija men are money miss road fools when it comes to women matter... Very foolish indeed. |
This is just beautiful. |
A little bribe goes a long way in a corrupt country like Nigeria. You can buy influence, open closed doors, surmount great hurdles, have your way and most importantly, save your own life. That's just the way it goes. |
moralex:Shame on you if, at your age, you cannot show me any law in Nigeria that defines "dehumanisation" and stipulates it as a crime. Many Nigerians are educated barbarians whose little sense (if any) is often beclouded by useless emotions and sentiments. The so-called Mike or any other Nigerian is free to give expression to his fetishes and fantasies as long as they do not breach any known law. Nigeria is NOT a religious or 'moral' entity. It is a SECULAR state, and all morality, beliefs and values are ENTIRELY PERSONAL and should never be forced down the throats of everyone else in society. To each his own, as long as the law is not in breach. Side Note: I am highly disappointed with Pretty Mike for his cowardice. He should have remained defiant and refused to sign such nonsensical undertaking or tender a nonsensical apology that was obviously obtained via duress and coercion. I would have called my lawyer and filed charges against the fat headed Ambode, the Lagos State Government, and the police for illegal arrest and violation of my rights. With the little money he has and the plenty 'swag' he purports to have, he shouldn't have so easily cowered under pressure. |
menstrualpad:Kindly narrate that experience in detail... Where in Yaba it happened, and the circumstances surrounding the unprovoked attack. |
This is a glorious rejoinder. A master class of a response, which puts the disgustingly conceited Nigerian Army in the lowly place that it truly belongs. Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. Bookmarked for future reference. |
I'm surprised that this guy is moving around openly and recklessly in Nigeria, exposing himself to grave danger. I thought he was holed up in the USA? He has no business here., with the kind of endeavour he is involved in. |
What is the best practice for this situation in saner climes? In, say the USA or Europe for instance? We all know that Nigeria is a hopeless jungle, but what happens elsewhere in this kind of circumstance? |
ilyasom:Can you dash him "ordinary N50k" right now without story? If you can't, then you must shut the Bleep up and shove your stupid ass out of here. |
Bentley "sports car" indeed. How did this rubbish make the front page? |
Atiku2019:Ol boy, where for Abj you dey? I'll like us to meet to plot a very important graph about the way forward this year.... All the way to 2019. Email me. |
fergieboy:I couldn't help but agree with this. They are very very shameless indeed. Just look at the rough, razz, juju-bleached faces showing solidarity with each other, having probably committed crimes and all shades of razzness together. Disgusting things. |
onokings:I am very impressed with (and somewhat intrigued by) the way you write and the clarity of thought you have demonstrated here. More power to your elbow. |
All you have is thought and action. Think about that, and remember that. All the millions and billions we dream about are out there in the atmosphere. Nobody owns them. They're just there waiting to flow towards anyone with the right thought and action. If you come up with a good idea, followed up with the appropriate action, you just might be a millionaire or even a billionaire in a matter of days, weeks, months, or few years as the case may be. Trust me on that one. It's going to be a great, great year. |
MAYOWAAK:Tell me more about that, and the undercurrents and intrigues within the RCCG vis-a-vis Adeboye's stepping down as G.O, if any. |
Not surprised. 90% of Nigerian so-called 'white collar' working class men and women do this kind of thing and WORSE. That's what they use to maintain some kind of pseudo 'upper middle class' lifestyle, while they come online to criticise politicians and yahoo boys. It's ridiculous. |
I don't understand. |
