this question is not directed to me,but let me answer you.according to a friend that got bfp in same procedure, she said her doctor inseminated her before the trigger shot,so as to allow s.p.e.r.m waiting joyfully in the v.jay before the ovum will arrive. you know sperm can live longer .

Most doctors don't do this, but I believe @ mamafresh's Doctor knows his onion.
people that I know,DAT got inseminated dis way had Bfp.
.
you are right.

this logic also applies 100% to natural conception.

its best to bd before ovulation so that you have enough swimmers waiting patiently for the egg.

Well mama's am here to share my story wit u all on wat I did differently dis time. I pray as u read it God will surely visit u all soonest IJN Amen!!!
Av been married for d past 1yr n 6months now. After my wedding in Nov I got pregnant which I lost in FEB 2014. Since den I n my hubby has been trying to conceive but to know avail. So we decided to run some test which I was diagonised of PCOS. I was placed on glucophage n other drugs. My sis's I was taken dis drug n I got tired of d glucophage. I later found out dat I also hav prolactin issue. I decided to control dat wit bromergon. Now last month I decided to take clomid on de 4th day of my MC till de 8th day. Which I ovulated on de 15th de of MC. Of course we had to Bd on dat day n tru out dat week. After a week later, I started cin plenty CM coming out of my VJ. I had to ask de forum. Helovesme asked me to stop BDing at de moment since am in my 2WW so I stopped. In all dis. I never monitored or took any trigger shoot. I just believe God. N was praying. Now my period is ment to come out on de 7th of dis month. I started having some serious cramp like my AF is abt to come. Severe headaches n backaches. I started sleeping much. Always tired n eating all de time. My boosom was like I had 10 litres of water in it. Lol. De were so heavy. My nipples was so painful. So I just woke up dis morning n decided To test. Lo n behold dia it was. De two line. I was so happy. I had to wake hubby up. N we started praising God. My sis's sorry for de long story. I just cnt stop de joy in me from bubbling. Pls feel free to ask me any question. I wish u all fertility blessing. Tanks n love u all. Mua.
congrats beautiful lady. to God be the Glory. God is indeed faithful. I am so happy for you.

happy bumping and enjoy the 9months ride.

if you can stay off BD for the entire first trimester, please do so. continue praising God, read your bible, start confessing positivity into your entire 9months jouney, rest well, take things easy, drink lots of water, continue taking your folic acid, pregnacare (if you wish) and start shopping around for a good hospital to register for antenatal.

since you've had a previous MC, you might need to do a blood test ASAP to check if you are rhesus negative or positive so that you can take the required injection.

congrats once again.

You have hit the nail on the head of the "matter", you didn't think the desperation to "serve" was too much?

Saraki is scared stiff of EFCC & with his numerous "rotten pots of beans" about to stink up the whole place, and with Baba's staunch anti- corruption stance the SP is his only respite from jail, he is a dying man.

He lost more than he won, he has now been tagged and can't ever live it down!!!
I agree!

Initially, i could'nt understand why he was all over the place campaigning, lobbying, etc for the position. Even during the PDP era, i cannot recollect any senate member that did so much public noise making on his or her desire to occupy any position in the senate.

then, i just put 1+1 together. . . . gbam ! EFCC grin grin

what APC should have done was re-organise the whole zoning formula by allocating that position to another geo-political zone. although, that would have led to some murmuring but definately not this whole mess we are seeing

NgeneUkwenu:
That's exactly what happened! They had the meeting in the morning just before the election! All that mattered to Saraki, was just his ambition! He doesn't care what he takes along with him! Very shameful!
Too shameful !!!

How can he do such to APC? the party that helped him in getting to the senate in the first place.

With all that has played out (so early into a new government), its best he is expelled and let APC damn the consequences.

But wait oh. If he is expelled, will he lose his seat as senate president? will there will be another election in the house? what happens next - best scenario, worst scenario?

Chai!! the whole thing is just a proper checkmate. busola really thought this through !
Politics › Re: Breaking News: APC Senators Leave National Assembly During Session by helovesme(f): 1:25pm On Jun 10, 2015

That was EXACTLY what played out , Saraki can be likened to Macbeth in his unbridled ambition.. He does not care how he realises his dream, all he cares about is his ends.

Saraki didn't have to leave the PDP when he did but he saw the handwiting on the wall that Lai Moh'd & APC will definitely make an inroad into his domain & he took a quick decision & went with the G-5.
chai !!!!

so busola is this cunny! how can you have a PDP senator as a deputy? who does that? he is making IBB look like a learner. is this what they taught him in med school?

in a way, i blame EFCC for this. if they had dealt with all the allegations of corruption hanging over him - societe generale bank, one suspicious farming project in Kwara state where he imported Danish cows, equally suspicious football academy where he employed clements westerhof and many other allegations of corruption - he wont have the audacity to vie for the position as senate president.

Let Buhari keep mute!
Conclude everything fast!

Thank God there will no budget to pass in the next seven months!

the earlier they expel him and face the consequences, the better.

i will rather have them deal with this demon NOW, than leave it till 2018 or 2019 when its wayyyyy too last.

I wouldn't have had problems with Saraki, if he had chosen an APC Deputy just like the House of Rep! This is the height of insensitivity to the same party that gave him, the platform! So Ike Ekweremmadu from nowhere, will reap where he did not sow!

Nonsense!!!
i want to pretend that this is not the scenario that played out . . . . . please confirm: did saraki really reach a deal with the PDP elected senators to pick Ekweremmadu as his deputy in order to secure their support for his election as senate president ??

if thats the case, then he is a traitor!!! and he needs to be dealt with asap.

Definitely, the next place I'm moving must come without a resident landlord.

Look, I paid for that apartment. I don't owe him any money and I'm not an armed robber. Irrespective of his age, he needs to understand that he is rendering a service and not offering me a favour. Its people like you that hinder this country's progress with your stone age mentality.

Even if I leave that house there are lots of places I can move into. He can send me out of his house and not out of the world

what you've explained doesnt justify keeping malice with your landlord and his wife.

Lol. For your mind you don make point abi?

We've actually settled the issue and he finally realised that he was the one at fault and apologised. He even admitted that he was surprised by my actions because he's closer to me than any other tenant and even when he's not around I ensure that his property is well taken care of. Unfortunately, he started taking my meekness for weakness and I had to clarify that to him. The only reason why he gave me the quit notice was because he didn't know how to summon me to a discussion and he even begged me not to leave his house when I asked him for my money. So now we're friends again.

Stop jumping into conclusions. It doesn't make you seem smart
YIMU grin grin grin

Begged you not to leave his house ke grin grin grin When a new tenant will obviously pay more rent in line with the current rate in the rental market?

Anyyways, it changes not the fact that he issued the quit notice first and he is currently on the lookout for another tenant . grin grin grin

Lol. So, you're not also bothered about "why" we stopped abi?

Respect is reciprocal unfortunately most people expect it to be one sided
I am sure your landlord agrees with you and that is why he has given you quit notice, so that way you can leave him and his wife with their one-sided respect grin grin

there are somethings you do not do and having a frosty relationship with your landlord is one of them. its impossible not to always agree but it should never get to the stage of keeping malice. I will rather eject myself and find another property.

@topic
i think its all about individual upbringing and the family one marries into.

i call my younger inlaws by their names oh and they call me by my first name too - just the same way the call my hubby by his first name and my siblings call me by my own first name too. everybody is happy with this - i have not noticed any funny attitude or remarks. however, the day anybody makes it an issue, i will fight and make my stand clearly known.

i never knew this 'aunty' and 'uncle' ish still existed tho.

so you will actually see them, pass beside them and not greet them? Chai !!!!

Its not nonsense o(ok, maybe it is). The yorubas put some kind of specila ranking on greetings and my landlord recently gave me a quit notice simply because me and my wife stop greeting he and his wife . Truly though, its mostly local yorubas that exhibit this trait.

My advice is, call her aunty and let peace rain. There a lot less to lose when there is peace in your family as apparent your mil has already taken sides.

Men don't take things like that seriously but I'd advice you call your husband's attention to it
why would you be living in a rented property and refuse to greet your landlord and his wife whom i guess are much older than you and your wife? isn't that rude? are you not effectively keeping malice with them?

well the quit notice you received is in order and well deserved before you turn the old man and his wife to punching bag.

Good morning to all mums and soon to be mums in the house, please mums I'm a soon to be mother and I'll like to find out from your personal experiences what exact week u found out the sex of ur baby.....I'm 19 weeks along and the last time I checked the gender couldn't be identified....also would like to find out if its okay to always have a warm bath....Thanks in anticipation of ur sincere responses.
i knew mine at 20weeks, however, i am aware that scans carried slightly earlier could reveal the sex of the baby. the fact is it actually depends on the position of your baby at the time the scan was carried out.

your baby could have been 'shy' with the legs closed which made it difficult for the sonographer to see the genitals. next time, wriggle your hips lightly or lie on your sides briefly to 'annoy' your baby and get baby to move/change position.

when you say warm bath? do you mean soaking yourself in a warm bathtub? well, thats not recommended by midwives/doctors. however, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a warm shower as long as the water is not VERY hot.

@Helovesme,

Ehn ehn, make I balance type ya epistle.

Having a future POTUS dream aint bad, nothing wrong with having dreams.

The best you can do is 7-8weeks and that is cutting it quite cloooossseee... Do you know a 36wks baby's lungs are fully developed & if one were to go into labour at that time most drs and hospitals won't try to stop the process, all they'll do is to keep the baby for observarion for a day or so cos the baby will not need any breathing assistance at that GA so which sane airline will airlift you at 37wks let alone @ 38wks ?

Let's now say you do a 37 wks fast one (where you'll get a dr/hospital that late in a non emergent situation is another epistle) & baby comes @ 39wks, won't you get bc? What about tha almighty blue pali that made you take the risk in the 1st place?

The earliest a baby can board a plane is 7days post delivery and I wonder how you can get all docs earlier than 4wks, we aren't even considering the 6wks post natal visit.
modath, i missed your reply. guess its how you quoted my username. lol

thanks for your response. this is what i asked and not some unsolicited, 'over-sabi' opinion from someone yapping to me about benefits system, how to spend my money and all sorts of rubbish.

So you're one of those parents (my friend just told me about UK Nigerians flying to the US to birth). Hmmm.
.
not only UK. people from all over EU including Switzerland are doing this too.

Onegai:
Well, in my opinion, it's a waste of money (unless you just want it for bragging rights). What are the longterm benefits of having both? US is NOT a social state so all the UK benefits that apply to you will never happen here (people hate Obama care and medicaid and it's not even as broad and concise as NHS), the US does double taxation (something which affected Boris Johnson and a lot of Nigerians I know and they all gave up their US passports and yeah the US increases the fees daily for you to opt out of being a citizen), US schooling is getting more expensive (particularly uni). There are almost no benefits of having both and for me, I'd have preferred having Canadian or Swedish citizenship (rather than my US citizenship). But that's just me sha.

But like I said, Nigerians like bragging rights. Perhaps do your research on US taxation, cost of university in the US and new governmental regulations before subjecting your child to something that will backfire.
this has NOTHING to do with bragging rights. I have my reasons but its no point explaining them to you since you've concluded it for bragging ish. Bragging rights on top wetin huh $10,000 birthing costs huh huh maybe for people you roll with its something to brag about but most def not for me. the least you can have done is ask for reasons before going wild on your keyboard.

so you know, university education isnt free or cheap here (except in Scotland) and i cant be azzed to counter most of your other points . i work in the financial services sector so i know everything about US's FATCA regulations. okay?

just the same way you prefer canadian or swedish citizenship over others is the same way some people prefer that of the US over others. different strokes for different folks.

and your last line - what will backfire huh huh huh its an individual's choice to settle down in which ever country he pleases and renounce whatever citizenship he or she holds.

****modified****
even if its to brag huh is it your business ? nigerians like you and their 'jealousy jealousy' syndrome.

*in olu maintain's voice* WHY YOU DEY VEX? WHY YOU DEY VEX? IS IT YOUR MONEY? IS IT YOUR MONEYhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh !!!
