twingirls:wow!!! very, very, very fair price. thats an absolute bargain! i paid £119 for mine. go figure ![]() thats the pricelist before anyone here accuses me of making this up. ![]() http://www.ultrasound-direct.com/babybond-pregnancy-scans/ |
Iffffffy, my dear. dont let anything stress you at this stage of your pregnancy. what matters the most is your health and that of your baby. |
bheambo:Congrats darling ! God bless you and your son. Amen |
tatacherie:you are welcome dear ![]() happy grooving ![]() |
Apple19:beautiful lady, the 'dating scan' is usually the first scan done once pregnancy is confirmed and it is usually done at 12weeks because as at this stage, you can actually 'see' your baby (you can make out the head, hands, etc). in some countries, doctors will not refer a lady for a scan before 12weeks (for example in the UK) as they are of the opinion that 'nothing major' can be seen and this can easily lead to a misdiagnosis of blighted ovum). most importantly, during the dating scan your baby is measured by the sonographer to calculate its actual gestational age and this calculation forms the basis of your EDD (expected due date). it is usually most accurate at this stage of one's pregnancy. the dating scan also confirms the number of babies in the uterus (one, twins, triplets, etc). some sonographers also check for fetal heartbeat but this is usually done during the anomally scan (done at 20weeks). i do not know where you can get an ultrasound done in abuja, however, what really matters is that it is done by a competent and experienced sonographer. |
tatacherie:pls go now. the best time for the dating scan is 12weeks. your doctor/midwife should have had you booked for a dating scan by now. |
freakingout:good to read from you hun. we are fine. thanks for asking. ok @ gynae. God will hear all our prayers and grant all our heart desires. Amen. |
Codims82:what useless credit? did you read the press release at all? they've clearly explained the source of the funds, yet you are here arguing stoopidly |
twingirls:chai ![]() I know that feeling. I also had a 4D scan done about 2 weeks ago and it is one of the most amazing things ever. ![]() |
Beetle, congrats on your birth of your baby. God bless the both of you. |
lolaxavier:what ![]() is it by force to boil beans, ponmo, shaki or bokoto with pressure cooker ![]() why go for a fake, substandard product knowing fully well how 'dangerous' pressure cookers can be. |
lolaxavier:then they should stay off pressure cookers and stick to normal cooking pot ! ![]() |
twintower:if its located outside the uterus (Subserosal) and it is not giving you any issues, please do not go for any surgery. the fibroid will NOT in anyway affect conception, pregnancy or the growth of your baby. I am living proof of that. if your doctor insists on having a non-problematic, Subserosal fibroid removed via surgery, i will suggest you look for another doctor o. the risks (post-surgery) is just too high compared to leaving the fibroid on its own. baby dust to all. |
wow. the modern GENUINE pressure cookers have various safety mechanisms that are done in such a way that there is no way you will be able to open the pot or remove the 'metal cork' untill the pressure/steam within the pot has reduced. i grew up in a household that used pressure cookers for sooooooo many years and there has any been any incident with them. the pressure cooker must have been fake or sub-standard or maybe she tried forcing open the pot . |
Mowojuoluwa:are your periods regular? do you keep track of your cycle ? (the day your period starts and when it ends). how many days cyrcle do you have averagely? |
gocare:get 'calamine' lotion . however, check with your doctor to make sure its safe for you and your baby |
Mowojuoluwa:beautiful lady, please dont be depressed. God that you look up to will answer your prayers and grant your heart desires. Amen. since the pelvic scan has confirmed that everything is okay, your answers to the questions below might help the ladies here to know what they can suggest to help you. do you know when you ovulate? do you baby dance at the right time of the month? has your hubby done sfa? |
MGeey: was that what they used for the episotomy? that must have been damn painful ![]() |
tchiwinnie:My irritation is at the midwives who decide to 'cut' whether or not its needed. to them 'cutting' is part and parcel of the natural birth process. :\ ![]() |
tchiwinnie:i hope so too. But even with that, i feel sick already at the thought of one's vjay getting sliced. the fear of episotomy is REAL. ![]() |
BritneyStacy: razors? you might the usual razor tiger blade? |
shawlar:okay, thats good. ![]() |
CreamyBee:folic acid is a very good drug and it wont affect any treatment you are on. as a matter of fact, it is always advised that women planning to conceive should start taking a tablet a day at least 3 months before they plan to conceive. i will emphasize again that you should stay clear of ALL antibiotics . Get a good multivitamin tablet and start eating plenty fruits. a scan to check your ovaries and uterus will see if there's anything out of the norm. please go to a good diagonistic center with well trained staff that are well versed on knowing what to look out for. the other experienced mamas here will tell you what drugs you can take that will help in inducing your period/ovulation. |
Deezou:HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY BEAUTIFUL LADY. GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS YOUR HOME. AMEN. yes oh. team september toh sexy. Fine, hot mamas ![]() we walk around our homes half nakeed showing off our sexy bumps. we are the only team that still rocks 6inches heels team august, october, november, december, january, february, march are taking fashion/catwalking tips from us even the noisy july mamas envy our swag ![]() |
sheweezy:yes oh. july mamas are just everywhere like MTN we cant help but notice them. make i no lie i am going to miss them too when they port to the new born thread |
shawlar:have you made up your mind on this US birth thingy? |
CreamyBee:beautiful lady, apologies for my late response. i personally think 'staph' is just one of the ways diagonistic centers rip people off. staph can be found almost everywhere - even on the skin. the fact that your hubby is fine seems to suggest you are actually treating a non-existing infection. if the 'staph' was at bad as you've been made to believe, your husband would have been infected by now. Please treat the PID, confirm with a followup test that the PID is clear and after that, kindly stay off ALL antibiotics. i am not sure about how combination 3 works but hopefully some of the other beautiful ladies might be able to shed more light on the drug. How irregular are your periods? Regarding your irregular period, have you had TVS or a scan done to check if you have PCOS? You should get folic acid as well as a good multivitamin tablet and start taking them once daily. these two drugs are known to help women who are TTC |
onegai, congrats on the birth of your daughter. God bless you both. Amen. Congrats to all the beautiful mamas that have put to bed. God bless you and your babies. Amen. |
