kay29000:Yep. "Orange is the new black" was inspired by one of Kashamu's major drug mules. Everybody indicted in the drug cartel have also served jail time except Kashamu of course who is still on the run. He was even in a relationship with one of them. You can google and read up the entire story online. |
babasanti:Why the insults Ouch!! Guess I pierced a nerve I know it hurts to be schooled by a woman. ![]() Pele **gulps ice cold Malta Guinness ** ![]() |
babasanti:You need to read up on what actually led to the Iraq war. Okay? ![]() Blame Saddam Hussein for what befell Iraq. He misled the entire international community into believing he was stockpiling weapons of mass destruction and he refused to allow globally accredited weapons inspectors to come into Iraq to verify/authenticate his claims. That is the reason why Bush and Blair will continue to walk free. You do not "joke" by claiming to hoard WMD just to claim political relevance/world supremacy and expect not to face dire consequences. That said, what has the Iraq war got to do with drug charges hanging on Kashamu's head? So countries like Switzerland that's planning on extraditing corrupt FIFA officials to the US on "mere" corruption and money laundering allegations shouldn't do so too because Blair and Bush are walking free ![]() |
Alemo50:Thank you so much. I have checked out the site. Very informative. I will try out the measures suggested. Thanks again ![]() |
kay29000:I agree with you. People obviously do not know Kashamu's full story. His drug cartel (which he headed) inspired the blockbuster 'worldwide' TV series "orange is the new black". That alone says a lot about the levity of his crime/past criminal life. |
Smh. This guy is a joke. The alfas, marabouts and jazzmen giving him such confidence, balls and guts should be exposed. First of all, with his criminal past and with the FBI actively on his case, he had the audacity to get involved publicly in active politics to the extent that he campaigned, contested and won the post of a senator. Now, look at his shameless but confident press release. He is just postponing his judgement day. He won't be sworn in as a senator and it's just a matter of time before he's on the next chartered flight to the US. As for the residents of Ijebu -Igbo that voted for this man. . . . The likes of noble men such as the late Abraham Adesanya will be cursing and turning in his grave at the support this man received from Ijebu-Igbo. |
I still can't get my head around the fact that the Doctor sent home the very next day a pre term baby at 7months. Even if they did not have the facilities to cater for pre term births, why wasn't the child referred to a government hospital or another hospital that's adequately equipped to handle such situations. If they could refer the child when jaundice was discovered, why wasn't the baby referred immediately after birth. I hope this is not a case of the parents insisting on "discharging their child" and taking him home "in faith" as it's a well known fact that a pre term child requires round the clock care and it is very expensive (both in private and government hospitals). Maybe they could not afford the cost of hospital care. Whatever the reason maybe, government needs to do better in the heathcare sector. May God comfort you and your family. Amen. |
Lol. No thanks. I'll pass. ![]() I will rather rock "gorimapa" than any of these hairstyles. #team22inchesbohemianhair ![]() |
barcanista:PMB has only been president for barely 48hours, so what exactly are you on about? Your "protection pay master" was at the helm for over 5years, what did he achieve? barcanista, God has given you a brain - please use it to post responsibly. |
^^^^ **spits, rolls eyes and flips weave** |
lurther:Gbe nu re dake jare. ![]() The last time Jona declared his assets(reluctantly) was when he was Vice President before the demise of Yar Adua. He hasn't done so since then. Google is your friend and you have a brain - please use it. Besides, has Jona declared his assets now that he has left office as he is required to? |
Kayode needs to shut the f*ck up. I don't understand his rush about being so overly critical about the government that's barely 48hours old. He's been going around displaying his ignorance. The process/timeline for assets declaration has been clearly explained by learned folks so what's this old man's problem ![]() Today, he was called out and shamed on twitter for claiming that PMB hasn't reacted to the recent Boko Haram bombings when in actual fact he has. He's too much in a hurry to be seen as "holding PMB to account". He should swallow a chill pill abegi. No be only him vote PMB or carry PMB for head. Awitan, he's even based in the UK. Even people living and working fulltime in Nigeria are giving PMB and his new government time to settle down. I will be unfollowing him on twitter very soon. Very annoying someborry ![]() |
Faba, to further prove how ignorant you are, BSC medical microbiology at the university of surrey is actually a 3years course and not 4 years if she opts out of the one year professional training placement. http://www.surrey.ac.uk/undergraduate/microbiology Awon TANoids oshi ![]() |
Alemo50 I have been battling with carpal tunnel syndrome on my left wrist. It started while I was around 20weeks preggers. I have used everything - from deep heat to robb to aboniki. No relief. I even went as far as placing hot water bottle on the wrist all night - no relief instead I ended up with red inflamed skin. ![]() Tired of all my DIY, I saw a GP. She said only solution was painkillers (something stronger than pcm and codeine) but I declined as I'm trying to avoid as much as possible taking any meds. I went to another GP. He suggested I wear a splint on my wrist. Now, the splint provides very little relief, I hate wearing it at work and it makes sleeping uncomfortable at night. ![]() Any solution please? ![]() |
Alemo50:Wow! Nice to know there's a 4D scan centre in Lagos. I'm going to pass this on to my friend. I'm not based in Nigeria and all my scans have been the usual 2D scans. I'm having a 4D private scan done next month (they are not that cheap tho ) and I'm so excited about it. |
OboloMAN:I have had the opportunity to visit museums in the North. They've got well stocked museums. You will be marvelled at their rich cultural heritage. Ignorance is truly a disease. |
mmsen:Yep. Most exhibitions are backed and sponsored by top businesses/corporations as well as several endowment/trust funds. As for the "stolen" artefacts, I do not see them returning any of them anytime soon. To the British, they are spoils of war and a reminder of the 'glory' days they conquered and colonised one country after another. |
Faba:Your ignorance and unwilliginess to be schooled is shocking! Have you ever left the shores of Nigeria? How much more live, study and work in the UK? The answer is clearly NO. I'm not going to waste my time giving you a breakdown of tuition fees/living expenses in an average UK university. Google is your friend and you have a brain - so use it! ![]() That 150k you've quoted will get you a comfortable flat (outright purchase) in many parts of the UK. Pounds is not like your Naira that has little value. |
Smh! How did you arrive at your 150k figure? Even students privately educated at Eton, etc do not spend that much on tuition and living expenses in four years. Do you know if she's on scholarship? University of Surrey is one of the top-rated and highly ranked schools in the UK and she must be VERY intelligent to have secured the admission. Her chosen course of study "medical microbiology" is no walk in the park either. Please stop the jealousy. It's not healthy for you. Do you know if her fees were paid for by her mum, Aisha or her elder/step sisters? Do you know if she works in the UK part-time during school term and full-time during school holidays? Do you know that she is a grown adult and she has the sole choice to decide on whatever country she wants to study despite what her father might think or decide? What is 'lavish' about living or studying in the UK Please, work on your poverty mentality. |
Not a fan as it dries out my skin. |
teufelein:This post of yours is getting very repetitive and lame. Your ijaw brother was at aso rock for 6years. He only just vacated the seat on Friday. What did he do throughout the entire 6 years to better the lot of Ijaw women like the one in your picture? All he did was enrich the likes of tombolo and asari who in turn invested their ill gotten funds in business ventures outside nigeria. You admitted yourself barely two days ago that Jona is a failure. So your post below. So why are you suddenly putting the blame on the hardship of an ijaw woman on PMB. teufelein:Hold GEJ accountable for his failure to liberate the Ijaw nation and leave PMB alone. God has given you a brain. Please use it and stop showcasing stupidity here. |
zendy:The terms of any treaty can be amended at any given time. UK might be in the EU but that doesn't give permission to a schengen visa holder to enter the UK without a UK visa. UK is currently considering exiting the EU and there are talks of treaty negotiation and also a referendum to leave the EU. Greece is also on the verge of being kicked out of the EU. Not all countries in Europe are parties to EU membership. Many are still waiting to be admitted while others have certain conditions attached to the movement/right to work of their citizens across member states. If Nigeria has to pull out of ECOWAS to protect its borders and save itself from "immigrants" and refugees (yes, you people will end up going to war with the "Ijaw Nation". Aka. Niger Delta as they would like their oil to themselves with their leaders in full control) from the "biafran republic", then so be it. |
Sorry for your loss. May God comfort you and your family. The main fault lies with the hospital where your son was born. How can a 7months baby (two months short) be sent home the next day? He should have been placed in an incubator/ICU. Was this a private hospital? I do not want to believe that a government hospital can send a pre term baby home. If they had monitored your baby, maybe the jaundice would have been detected. The body defences of a pre term baby are low and the organs aren't fully developed at such stage. Jaundice in newborns is fairly common and easily treatable as long as it is detected early. In your son's case, it appears the doctor didn't do all the required checks and all he wanted was to send your child home. It appears they gave him little chance of survival from birth, hence their lackadaisical attitude. Please, hold that hospital accountable. |
tatacherie:Please go and see the doctor on monday. You can take the fersolate (iron tablets) as that is good for you and your baby and it will help in reducing the weakness you are feeling. I also didn't take pcm throughout my first trimester but if you are having headache/temperature, you can take it in the lowest possible dose. Eg. Just one tablet a day. Please stay away from ibruofen, aspirin or panadol. Take just 100% PATACETAMOL. Vitamin C tablets in very high does is known to cause spontaneous abortion so personally,i won't take it or even if I do, I will take the lowest possible dose. Malaria is very tricky to treat during the first trimester as malaria itself can cause miscarriage and the drugs that can effectively treat it can also cause miscarriage. The advice given to women (here) is to try and avoid travelling to a tropic region so as not to get bitten by mosquitoes at least 3 months prior to when they plan to conceive. God is your strength and He will protect you and your baby. Amen. |
ofenmanucom:No. Just telling you people the truth as it is. Ijaw nation stands a better chance canvassing for independence seperately/peacefully (without the igbos) than with this whole Biafra agenda. I repeat. Asari is a smart fox. He is just using you guys. Even the MASSOB leader will be cursing in his jail cell in South Africa at the thought of Asari being in the fore front of this Biafra struggle. |
So this explains why you gave a wanted man with an arrest warrant over serious financial crime dangling over his head Presidential pardon abi? ![]() I dare Alams to step in the UK/EU or the US. Even with his "presidential pardon", he won't dare make such a trip because I trust the UK government to dig out another criminal charge against him. The day he granted Alams that presidential pardon was the very day he was written off completely as a joker by the international community. |
Most of the Igbos abroad canvassing for this Biafra thing only want to use it as an excuse/leap board to claim asylum. We know their antics. No be today. ![]() |
Udmaster:What false information!!! This has to be one of the worst lies I have read on nairaland. Surely, you cannot come online and spread such balant lies. The UN had absolutely nothing to do with the scottish referendum. Do you even have any understanding on how UK's politics/political system works? Do you even know anything at all about International politics? Where should I start in schooling you? Gbawe, you need to see this o! |
The problem is if the East breaks away, the igbos, ijaws, etc will start fighting amongst themselves. Asari is a smart fox. He is only using the igbos. As soon as the biafra dream is actualised, he will break away and form his own ijaw nation. Asari wants nobody to share in his "oil". The south east will become a worse pitiable version of south Sudan. South east will never know peace. It will turn to another sudan/somalia. There will be too much in fighting, jealousy and greed. The oil they are banking on will become sanctioned as all the oil companies will leave the region and there will be no buyers for the oil. The fear with us that will be left in "Nigeria" is that your problems in the eastern region will spill to Nigeria and we will have to cater for your refugees, deal with 'illegal immigrants" from biafra republic and also protect our borders. For these reasons and more, Biafra will NEVER come to pass. If it was a feasible project, your son Jona would have done that within the 6years he was president. The least he could have done was hold a referendum. However, he is fully aware that it's a plan that cannot and will never work. Ojukwu during his lifetime contested to be President. How many votes did he get from the east? That says a lot about the disunity/lack of leadership and direction in the South East. |
Gbawe:I agree. 100% |
Watched the clip and I felt so sad. That woman is old enough to be the mother of anybody below the age of 43 on this forum. I'm shocked people are mocking her and making jest of the entire situation. The Jamaican must have slapped her so hard for her to bleed that much. I'm sure an ambulance must have been called to the scene to attend to her and check if she suffered from any head/brain trauma. And to think the guy was trying to escape. Smh! He would have been featured on BBC's crime watch with a bounty on his head if he had succeeded. A place like London that's over ran with CCTV - there's very little place to hide. If the case goes to court (which is very likely), I do not see how he can escape a criminal record/custodian sentence. The comments made on the liveleak website are shocking. Some people referred to black people on the bus as Baboons, monkeys, etc. Racism is very real in the UK. Very real. So many closet racists in the UK. |
