I arrived Berlin this morning via Turkish airline, paid €2.80 at the airport for a bus to jaKob pkeizer,(I hope say I spell am correct), jumped plenty other trains and followed plenty tunnel till I found myself at the city's bus central station. From there I took a flixbus to Dresden. Umunnam, two things I noticed among the Germans today is that they're bi-langual(i might be wrong though) and them love to drive new sweet cars(omo come see mini-cooper on black rims, Benz be like water and finally one bad black Lamborghini huracan roadster wea speed pass me for Dresden).

Thank you @pricetigris for this wonderful comment , I will be joining you in Dresden on the 19th of May. I intend going through Berlin too as direct flight to Dresden is very expensive.
I will DM ASAP to hear more about your experience

My day was a very hectic one. I connected my phone to browse on the laptop via SUB cord. Immidialy power ran out of the computer I removed my phone only to see that I have had a mail.

Opening my mail, walah!! It was my AM. Feeling surprised and happy. I quickly had a bath and dressed up to arrange for the required documents to be sent via DHL.

Axa Mansard insurance -17,050 was done and i printed out my certificate.
I also printed out my blocked accounts statement.
And indicated date of travel all arranged with passport and sent via DHL 4,200.

I even forgot I didn't eat until 4:15pm when i started feeling weak. Lol. cuz I wanted to make sure I send my parcel today.

Admission letter Jan. 21st
Interview Feb. 20th
AM March 19th

I appreciate all the people that have been contributing on this thread. Their contributions have been so helpful. I also have two friends from this thread whom we personally chat. They really helped me individually at diff occasions. To book for interview appointment and to also get my insurance easilly among other things . If you are reading this, you guys are awesome. Thanks very much.

I wish other people who are expecting their AM this month best of luck.

After your studies, you get 18 months from your foreign office to get a Job. when you get a job offer, your 18 months will be converted to a Blue card and in most cases, you could between 2-4 years on your blue card. During the time of possession of this blue card, you need to work for 21 months couple with B1 certificate and you´re entitled to a PR.

Or 33 months + A1 for PR

Thanks alot bro, How long will it take to get a B1 proficiency in Germany, I plan on going for a two years masters degree program, will I be able to attain B1 proficiency before graduation?

PS: I stayed 4years in the north and still not able to speak hausa

If the people organising the conference will handle your accommodation, it's great if they can indicate OT on the letter. I guess that can cover for the accommodation requirements because you will normally need an hotel reservation for a schenge visa.
Also, when I say ticket reservation, I qctually meant flight ticket reservation. And reservation most times is not full payment. Just an intention of date. Some embassies will infact tell u not to pay for a ticket yet until visa is issued. Don't know the exact for Germany.
You actually need to peruse German embassy site.
https://nigeria.diplo.de
You are heading to Germany. All you need is on that site. Read thru it

Thanks a million times sir,

From the little I know and the information you gave here, you will be applying for a Schenge visa. The short duration one(probably max 3mths) since what you are going for is a 3-day conference. The requirements will certainly require the documents that prove you are going for that conference, health insurance for that period, ticket reservation, etc
About a ticket to Dresden, it might not be easy to answer that question except I say that general airline tickets are cheaper on some airlines compared to others to same destination. Example: a Turkish airline ticket to any location in Germany from here is generally cheaper compared to say a Lufthansa. Also an Ethiopian ticket will generally be cheaper to an Air France ticket. I will advise you check up some popular travel ticket sites and probably put in your desired desired departure and arrival points, that can give u an idea of average cost from various airlines.

Thanks alot sir, please by ticket reservation do you hotel reservation or flight ticket reservation? If flight ticket reservation does it mean that I'm supposed to book and pay for my flight before applying for Visa?
Secondly How do I go about Health Insurance and how much will it cost?
Again the organizers of the conference will be paying for my hotel accommodation, do I tell them to indicate it in the Visa letter they will send to me?
Thanks again in Anticipation.

You don't have to stress yourself about transcript, you will pay an additional 10k to sch and the sch will go and collect your transcript and verify ur result themselves... I was admit through direct entry too.
Congrats.
As for the clearance its same as UTME candidates just visit ur faculty office and commence best of luck

For update, go to settings * about phone * system updates.

You'll need to backup your data and restore later. You will not lose any app or App Data.

Music, Video and Photos needs to be backed up separately to PC or OTG Pendrive. Search google for more.

For Backup: -

Go to Settings---Additional Settings---Backup and Reset------Local Backups.
Backup all the app and other data(You can Choose Only few Apps Also). The backup will be saved in Memory card or Internal Memory in MIUI ----Backup----Allbackup. The name of Folder will be current Date and contains all apps with extension dot bak. Copy it to PC or OTG Pendrive and restore later.

You can now update your phone. And I'll advice you to factory reset after the update, since you've already backed up your data.

Restore the data back using backup app. Put the backup folder in same folder where from you copied it.

Please post screenshot of your rom version, let's be sure you have the stock rom
