does this means you will need up to 9 weeks to deposit 8640?

You cant deposit More than $10,000 (equivalent) which is about €8,800....at once.

Note: for those tranfering to your German account ask the person sending to send all once.(that's while transferring) . They would always want to break it and send twice so you pay your charges twice. I used Access and insisted I wanted it sent once.

Hope this helps

Our policies change anyhow so find out sha

When you want to book your ticket check all the travel agents, jumia, wakanow and the likes. Also check the Airline's site itself. Bug them and ask them.if they have student Visa. Last year about the time I was travelling Turkish had a route for 144k because of the student discount.

And our south south ppl. Turkish now flyers from PhC (from june) but the timing is not friendly sha.

Leaving Phc by 00:35 shocked shocked

I paid 30k, above the normal price because I want it urgently. If you are familiar with the immigration in Abuja you will know money move mountains.

I live in Abuja. The person who helped me works in the passport office maybe that's why it was ready in 24hours.
You can renew your passport even if it is not remaining 6months, as long as you are able to table the reason with proof.
They will collect a photocopy of your admission letter, your old passport and a letter addressed to the immigration baba stating your reason.

Show working how? If you don't believe it is fine with me bro.

Why won't he believe you, I only replied you because of your statement at the end(previously). Because it happened in Abuja doesn't mean it happens same elsewhere. I remember when my previous passport was mutilated I was asked to go to Abuja for that singular reason( it wasn't expired but that was way back, when change of name and age you had to go to abuja) .

I was home during the holidays.I went to renew and they where asking me for extra money. God knows I was not in the mood to find person 2kobo sef. someone in other states might be more patient with them and get it but I was not in that mood.

To cut the log story before we drail the thread with unnecessary arguments. The guy asked if he can go on and I said yes he can. Just add the old and new with a RUBBER BAND. And make sure you get a new one before leaving Nigeria.

Now we all know with the following procedure you can extend your passport ,best you print that page from their site and go with it. We learn everyday.

Argument close....
PERIOD.

Tschüss

You can renew your passport!

To all if you are not certain about an answer to a question please don't answer like you are certain. Start your answer with " I think " or "I suggest" etc. Don't mislead people abeg. #fake deutschmann

You were able to do this because its Abuja or cos of the procedure you followed.
When I was around for the holidays I tried renewing in port Harcourt. (Because mine expires next year February, )they refused. Even the controller general wanted to use me to make money. I decided to leave it. I would do it when I come for Christmas.

You have to use the passport you have. You cant even renew the passport now. it has to be atleast 6 months to its expiration before you can renew

Stand to be corrected ooh, with all this their new policies everyday

Yeah he cant renew. Yes he can go ahead with the old one. But most start making preparation for the new one incase embassy calls him for his Visa by August and he comes to Germany in September. His resident permit will expire that Feb. Exactly what happened to me. Everyone got two year I got 17months.

Good evening guys
I just got admission to the university of jena
My passport will expire by feb2020, do I Need to get another passport and if yes which of the passport should I use to book appointment for visa interview. Thanks
Get a new passport, if you come to Germany with that one that's how long your resident permit will last.
Besides no one will put Visa on a passport that's less than six months , with the way embassy is doing YOUR Visa might not be ready by July ending.
Book with the old. But start making preparation for the new.
You can attach the new and old with a RUBBER BAND.

Great Gurus in the house I want to use to podium to ask if I can still make it to dutch-land this year. I applied for winter admission(Cottbus, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin) and Uni assist have processed my application although is still showing incomplete application because my certified documents are yet to get to them( Fedex) company and delay are like mad...and my transcript never enter Lagos from East..i'm just confused guys..can I deffer my admission when it comes out(just been optimistic)...Fedex are killing me oooo and I went to their office and I was asked to provide airfare code for them to be able to track my transcript which I was told has been sent since last week..

Whats the duration for students visa?
Can I deffer my admission?
How long does creating and funding block account takes?
Cottbus is until July 15th. Never say never until it is.
I know embassy is acting funny. But make sure you try until the very last.

As for food I have been very open but more of Nigerian food helps me save.
Social life. Even as the school hard try to mix. campus parties are a good meeting point. Depends on where your school is sha and the kind of things you looking for. As for the men it depends on your preference.
It's not been a bad story personally.

Good day everyone, I want to confirm from those who have tried or have idea about block account opening at the embassy. I have a finitiba account already, but for some personal reasons, I will like to open and fund a new Deutsche Bank BA. I have gone through the documents required but I am not yet clear on this *evidence of the source of your funds*. Must the source of funds (probably my naija account statement) reflect the exact €8640/equivalent in naira of the expected BA sum? Or can I go with my bank statement showing any reasonable amount, with the hope of completely funding my BA to the expected €8640 total amount as time goes on after opening the BA
I had answered a question like this.
I don't know your personal reasons but DB is very slow(from nigeria becaouse of the process) and can frustrate you. You can go ahead with your fintiba (mind you fintiba is just an escrow not a main bank) when you get here you can then open an account with DB.
I hope I have tried to answer your question

Non Nigerian bank. You can use Deutche Bank if you want to and already have an admission letter. You can make enquires from their lagos office. +23412772500 Also google to know their office location.
From analysis here, it was said that the procedure for this bank is very stressful. Why not use the other medium that had gotten testimonies
Deutche bank will frustrate you. There are other banks. You can eventually use it to unblock.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply. I was majorly worried about paulinus because he can start doubting me or send me back is it possible. Because for the VO the document is easily verifiable.

Times change and laws change.

Last year ppl went with blocked account and told VO their sponsorship letter is on the way.
Secondly you can go with the photocopy and you would be asked to send the original to them when it comes.
All these worked last year.

But I really find it hard to imagine how someone will fail one course three times.
I mean, can someone explain to me because it's too difficult for me to figure out.

How can you write course one time, fail.
Write another time, and fail.
Write on the third time and fail.

For me, it means you are not competent for that course and should be immediately dismissed not only from the department but also have your student visa revoked for that particular course of interest

Cool down , don't be in a rush to talk.
Pressure and an Empty account has never been a good combo.
There are many factors that can affect that over here.

I got uni-assist evaluation report with my CGPA = 4.36(nigerian scale) and 1.4 German scale, the course I applied for is a double master course, with the first two semesters in Finland and the last two semesters in Germany. Please who has idea on how one can go about the visa booking
Ask the school.
My school has a course like that. One semester in Belarus and then back to germany. You would have to get your visa from Belarus then when you through you come to germany. But Belarus first.

So ask the school to get first hand answer.
