its so unfortunate how people like you fail to see the benefits of most of these things just because of ur hate for oyedepo.
Have you asked your self what happened to the standards of the government owned institutions that used to be available years back. I just saw a return to what i used to know about quality of sec. sch in these schools u hating oyedepo for, yet u cant see that just cos ur hate.

Have u considered the number of Nigerians employed in these schs? No, u r just particular about what u think oyedepo in benefiting. U think oyedepo is still at the level of counting money gains?? chai, sorry bro, wake up, free your brain from the yoke of poverty.

See human capital development, see economic growth, see quality of education as a tool to nation building, see significant reduction in the %age of unemployment in Nigeria.

Stop hating, have a vision in your life, pursue it, nurture like oyedepo did, feed it, grow it, sacrifice for it and build an empire for ur self and stop hating.
Your hate cant change anything but will only keep u myopic for life.

You talked of ur family sch, i want to ask u these questions. whats the staff strength of that sch.? whats the salary grade for degree holders if any. whats the capacity of managers/handlers of that school. how old is the oldest teacher there and whats his/her salary. when last did the teachers there attend training and capacity buildinghuh??
Am very sure u r comparing ur family's exploitation venture somewhere with all the low quality cheap laborers to this grade A sch. just cos of ur hate for a man u can not reach his shoe height in your next 10th generation.
U need to help ur life. u r hard on ur self. as am seeing you, u r jobless and have refused to see opportunity in these schs. and key in.
U r just a hater. but u need to repent b4 u die of frustration.
Mehn I love this. You made my night grin

This shows how dumb you are..dont you know a church must be registered with CAC and the name of principal officers stated when opening an account with a commercial bank? the signatories and the mandate of executing withdrawal well stated?

With the signatories and a board of trustee with each allocated stake?

Ignoranus..you guys think its all spiritual forgetting the financial leg must be tidied up..

If you don't know know today..churches run like any other company financially and the commercial banks treat them as such..there r no special accounts for churches but the same account a business man will open or an NGO or any LTD will open is the same a church will open with the same mandates and prinical officer..or you think Holy Spirit will be signing the church cheques grin grin grin

Blind ignorant guy
Thanks for the enlightenment. I once thought it was oyedepo's dogs and fowl that were signatory to the church account. So thank you for educating me professor of stupidity.

You mentioned shareholders and I am asking you to tell me how an NGO that is meant to be not for profit would have shareholders. But you have failed to tell me how you came to that conc.

I just read your rubbish and I just laugh because it would be too laborious pointing out all of the nonsense you are spewing. Good night.

Your post is beret of wisdom...World Mission has majority shareholding as who? LFC has majority shareholding as who? don't be deceived by all the bureaucracy jargons...its owned by Him and His family..there incorporate it to go corporate for greater reach and accountability but that does not mean its not owned by him...World Mission cannot sneeze without Papa approving the sneeze grin

Who told you Oyedepo only ventured into only school business..the funny thing is how ignorant even the members are...Oyedepo has business venture you and every lower cadre member will never know

Dont be silly about the education business grin grin...its easier for a church to venture into the educational arm than any other business because of the already existing human capital grin grin but i wonder if you understand what you just read..

Thats y churches and schools have always been 5 and 6..

School business can be done by averagely rich and the super rich...which is evident in the fees paid sir..

Oyedepo has no flare for education if it wont profit him..people that have flare will subsidise it or make it free..the UK government have flare for education grin
You be mumu. You are asking me who are the 'shareholders' of a Church - is a church a company or an NGO.

grin grin we actually do CSR and offer subsided scholarships for staff children..they pay about 25% of tution..we have some students that have been given scholarship from the community but on merit.. grin grin

But remember we are a real business and got the seed capital from our family balance sheet so we must break even..Oyedepo on the other hand stole the commonwealth to set up a school that will generate proceeds for him and his generations for ever grin

A school that the poor and wretched members and trust me there are many in that church cannot attend grin

What a scam..you tax the people and the same people cannot attend the school..people that give their all..some drop all their monies in the basket and walk home and remain poor.....atleast make it free for the members forget the non members.

Slave mentality and you expect us to thank him...taaaaaaaaaa…

Money is indeed silent cool
Idiot why didn't you make your father's school free for the poorest in society. What CSR has ur school done for Nigeria. You reap profit from the so called poor and probably offer substandard education therefore thinking everyone is like you... The oyedepo you talk about has offered free education to over 1000 people which person hv u schooled for free.

You guys really baffle me with your ignorance shocked shocked

I have told you that the aim is not to recover the principal spent on land but to ensure current asset in form of liquidity while the land appreciates..

The point Is never to sell the land except God forbid for unforeseen circumstances but to know that the original prinicipal is secured and will infact appreciate in the future..so if the land was acquired for 1b naira today in the next 20 years it will be 20b which will read in the school balance sheet as profitability while all the period of that same 20years have generated current assets and intangible assets which ofcourse can be derived from the educational sector.

Do you know the value of the intangible assets of the school in the next 20 years grin..no you don't..its a win win for Oyedepo...uses principal to acquire land..gains current assets and intangible assets while the fixed assets appreciate thereby multiplying the principal which he does not need as cash but is better off to him as a fixed asset

You guys will never understand the business angle of real estate and I believe I have tried to explain embarassed
I have been looking at your funny posts with amazement of how wrong you could be.

First and foremost, Living faith schools belong to World Mission Agency, an arm of LFC worldwide. It doesn't belong to any individual but the church so all ya analysis is a waste.
There are tons of high revenue generating endeavours oyedepo can do to make money, buy oil well, real estate(housing, hotel), telecoms, banking and aviation but he only ventured into school because he loves education. School business is for averagely rich people not the super rich. Reason why dangote, otedola, adenuga and co don't own schools.

What does that tell you about Nigeria??
It tells me nothing... The state of Nigeria is a product of the people's choice of leader and has nothing to do with any pastors. Mind you the same pastors have churches in countries you've never stepped into and are flourishing. That tells you Nigerians are d problems of Nigeria

Where did I say paying taxes won't land you in jail? undecided

If someone has a low income they pay no taxes whatsoever. Some can even get a free house and free money. That's the difference between the west and Nigeria

Oyedepo's case is Free donation?? I'm done here

Stay asleep.
You made a mumu comment and I'm just pointing it out to you. A person can demand free healthcare from his govt which forcefully collects taxes but cannot go and meet an org to demand free healthcare simply because he donated to them sometime ago.

The government pays for it through the taxes ppl pay.

But as I said before, don't even try to compare paying taxes to paying the full amount for a service. A disadvantaged person in the UK can get a house funded by the government and get money paid to their account without needing to hustle.

So tell me again how this school helps the ppl of Nigeria? Majority can't afford it. So dont try to imply what this pastor did wasn't a disservice, you and that other fool
Are you thinking?
How can you compare a govt that collects billions in taxes from corporate and individual entities to a church whose income is based on discretion of members. Of course the UK would have enough to cover for the disadvantaged.
Moreover can u compare the number of poor in UK to Nigeria. Nigeria has far more poor people. So it is easier for the UK to assist the little poor ppl it has.

You are only speculating about the profitability of faith academy schools.
The one in Delta newly built cost well over a billion Naira and there is no way they can recover the cost of building it talk less of maintenance and other recurrent expenses like staff member salaries.
You speculated that the land on which it built appreciates and can be sold but is land and building intangible assets?
He should tell us which church school he has seen that has ever been sold.

Dumb response.

Primary & secondary schools in the UK are free. Universities in some parts of the UK are free. Contraception in the UK is free and I know some healthcare in Nigeria is free.

Now tell me, how exactly does this extortionate school help the Nigerian economy and people?

How many parents in Nigeria can afford to send their children to this school? It's a sad fact but majority of Nigerians are poor and you know it.

Now tell me how this school isn't exclusively for the rich who are a minority in Nigeria?
Not paying taxes in the UK would land you in Jail. So connect it oga, your taxes forcefully collected by govt pays for ur free services. Oyedepo's case is free donation and is never consistent so he can't guarantee his income like the UK govt enough to predicate the funding of hundreds of subset org on an inconsistent income source.

This a business like any other business..i know because my family owns a school in Lagos that generates million every quarter...what is all this rubbish like we should clap that a great thing has been done..

These schools are built with tithe and offerings of the people and privatised to personal business and you are here talking like a great thing was done..should we clap for him undecided
Chai who did this to you...
Let me think in your very line of thought.
Do you think Dangote actually really cares about your economy? His business choices are probably more driven by desire to make profits than the desire for national growth. But we can't deny that his businesses have helped create jobs and grown the economy to a certain degree. So in a way Dangote is actually doing Nigeria a favour. In the same way Oyedepo is doing Nigeria a favour by creating schools that can discourage education tourism abroad, schools that can free spaces for poor people in public schools and actually providing quality education with sound biblical and moral learning that can better the nation.

A man with vision whose aim is to transform lives. When next an atheist or olodo freezer ask what we use our tithe money for, show him these pictures. We must continue the legacy's of the early missionaries.
Indeed we must. Apart from the quality education, just imagine how many people 5,000 primary schools would employ in a nation with 10 million out of school children.
Even if it's just one employee per primary school that would be 5,000 employees. Because the church doesn't have PR doesn't mean some of us don't have eyes to see and mouths to tell of the good things. Yes there are imperfections here and there but we must tell the good part too so we don't fall victim to the propaganda of the devil...

As God helps me I am going to create an aggressive PR platform for the church and recruit volunteers from many churches to tell of the good things the church is doing in their communities.

When most attack the efforts of the church they do so in ignorance! The Church remains the most potent Non government movement that has impacted positively on both education and healthcare from the very first times missionaries set foot in Africa. Today 70% of Congo's entire secondary schools are catholic while a significant portion of Nigeria's public secondary schools where initially established by white missionaries.

Faith Academy schools are spread across Nigeria. The living faith Church hopes to own about 700 of these secondary schools across Africa in addition to 5000 primary schools. The FA schools are all managed by the Education commission of Living Faith Church headed by Professor Bridget Sokan. The Education Commission of the Church Operates from the 4th floor of Covenant University Senate building.

In attestation of the quality of Church high schools the last highest jamb scorer for 2018 was a product of Faith Academy Ota with 364. Apart from this thousands of teachers are needed to service these schools creating massive employment.

By 2032 the LFC church total secondary schools would equal that of Oyo and its primary schools would equal that of the entire south west states in Nigeria.

When you read this know full well that these schools just represent a minute portion of the total christian effort in education.

El-rufai Moves Against Dunamis Churches In Kaduna.
Set To Demolish Them.
(As Posted by Chidimma Greenpop)

There is palpable tension in the Christian community in Kaduna state over a letter written to the Dunamis church, demanding for details and update of all its religious institutions and church locations within Kaduna State, by the El-Rufai led administration.

Kaduna state Urban Planning Development Agency, KASUDA, had prior to the presidential and national elections written to the Dunamis Church requesting it to furnish it with details and update of all its religious institutions within Kaduna State.

Reacting to what it considered a threat letter, CAN Kaduna chapter, had, in a letter cautioned Governor Nasir El–Rufai, describing it as a threat to demolish Dunamis churches located in the State, adding that Christians will resist any persecution by the government.

The protest letter by CAN over the threat to demolish Dunamis churches in the State was on the heels of an official letter from KAPSUDA, asking the church to provide details of its operation in the State.

In a document obtained by our correspondent, CAN State Secretary, Dr Sunday Ibrahim directed that the church should not give the information saying that it was a ploy by the government to embark on the demolition of Dunamis churches in the State.

The acting General Manager of KAPSUDA, Hajiya Fatima Bambale in an official letter with reference number PS/14/PP/ZIII/20, 624/ VOL.I/0 and titled “Up-date of religious institutions within the State”, said, ” I am directed to request you to furnish the Agency with your details through the attached form”.

She added, “You are to reply within seven days of receiving this letter”.

However, in a swift reaction by CAN Secretary, Dr Ibrahim in a letter dated February, 7th 2019, it said that “We write to express our dissatisfaction with the content of your letter and to remind the Agency that she is a government Agency and not individual establishment”.

According to Ibrahim, “where the government, through the Agency finds it necessary to update religious institutions within the State we strongly believe that the Agency knows well enough the proper channel to follow which is through CAN or Interfaith”.

He said that Dunamis church decided to contact CAN after the government Agency decided to direct it’s letter demanding a list of all its branches in the State.

Dr Ibrahim further noted that the demand was offensive, and suspect as it was ill-conceived and inappropriate that the Agency should write the individual church directly disregarding CAN. This he said was provocative and raises suspicion and an attempt
“at using KAPSUDA which is a Government Agency as a tool to persecute the Dunamis International Gospel Centre Churches in Kaduna State”.

“We shall resist in strong terms any action or inaction that is inappropriate and perceived as an I’ll intention against the church, person or group. And we also are reminding the government that she is solely established for the protection of people and properties and not their destruction. We also remind KAPSUDA once again that she is an agency of the State and not of a single individual hence, we call on her to resist the temptation of allowing herself used as an instrument to perpetuate injustice or persecution of the church or any individual person and groups in Kaduna State”.

Meanwhile, few months ago, it would be recalled that there was altercation between the Governor, El–Rufai and the General Overseer of Dunamis church, Pastor Paul Enenche, during the last crisis, after the kidnap and death of the paramount Chief of Adara, Chiefdom, in which Governor threatened to prosecute leader of the church.
