Tamarapetty:All kinds of Tabs e.g Ipads, Samsung Galaxy tabs are allowed in CU. Just don't bring Sim Cards with them. People use Iphones too. You can then connect the devices to the university network. They just don't want to see the conventional phones plus sim cards. The school allows tabs because they think it's useful for academic purposes. |
She is no longer a student though. She was "forcefully withdrawn" from the university.... |
wittyt98:If you are given an exam question with multiple choices. Would you say the question has no answer simply because there are many choices? People may put up their own theories, arguments and thoughts but the Truth will never change. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life! And no man who denies Jesus will see Heaven... |
wittyt98:Compare Jesus less japan, finland, china to Norway, Ireland, Australia, Newzealand and USA not Nigeria. Less than 50% of naija's population is even christian. As i said before God is not interested in destroying any one's economy to prove a point. |
CodeTemplar:Thank you |
Zoharariel:Lol see the ignorant freeborn spewing ignorant things. At least 80% of the catholic church's expenditure is on charity. I would give you the opportunity to run off to Google and come back with more solid arguments. Right now you are talking nonsense. |
wittyt98:You have a very poor understanding of certain things.... The Bible records that Egypt a Godless, oppressive nation was living in economic prosperity for many years even as it enslaved the children of God. Therefore, God has shown even in scriptures that nations that don't serve him are still entitled to wealth... God will never destroy a Nation's economy to prove a point. But when he was ready he picked His people(Isreal) across the wilderness and brought them into their own land of opulence and plenty; A land that flowed with milk and honey... The kind of wealth we want in the church is the God's kind of wealth- there is no use living 60 years in Qatar and then spending eternity in hell - one day in hell would erase your entire 60 yrs experience of prosperity while living in Qatar. Norway today has 86% of Christians with a bountiful economy - many of them who are true sons and daughters would live a life of prosperity here on earth and then still enjoy mega prosperity in heaven. We are confident that that needs to be the experience of the African christian. Wealth must spread forth so much that it would contact the members and change our narrative even if you demons don't like it. That wealth would change their families and would keave enough for the church to do what it needs to do. You also need to know that the muslims, atheists and satanists are all dear to Jesus. His blood serves as an intercessor against God's anger, therefore, heaven Will not sanction them even when they oppress believers. But woe betides anyman who dies without Jesus! He would wish he had lived in Solmalia(rather than Qatar) with just an opportunity to belief Jesus. Make no mistake it is still better to live a destitute life in south sudan as a true believer, enjoying heaven afterward than live as an unbeliever in Qatar enjoying a couple of years but etetnity in hell... |
Zoharariel:You just tagged the picture of the pope with destitute kids... What message are you trying to pass? The message of Jesus is for believers to leave a selfless life. We can sell our fortunes for the poor but we must also get blessed in return by God. It is a cycle of "give and it shall be given". If you give and not receive then you would soon be collecting alms from the poor that you are helping. See ehn your comments come from a spiritual place of hatred seeking to deceive the elect and i can discern it. So my responses are not to convince you but to help protect passerby who are being misled by an agelong trick of the devil which is taking scripture out of context.

dazzlingd:Oh i am glad you finally saw the light. |
dazzlingd:Hehehe now the demons have gone all ballistic. I hope you sing this same song when your celebtities roll out mansions and exotic cars, which are products of the proceed of commoners and less wealthy people in society. No i am no slave of the clergy. As i said Oyedepo is an heralder - he was giving the mandate but it would not end with him. His prayers for me is that the wealth, exploits and relevance i would command would be far greater than he has ever witnessed and i know for a certainty that it would be so. The devil has no problem spending money in his kingdom and for many decades many in the church have been imparted with pure nonsense on church poverty. A God who lays his streets with Gold, boast of the Silvers and Gold and the thousand cattle on a hill. A God whose promise to his people is a beautiful mansion is a God of prosperity. |
dazzlingd:Feel free to make mockery, it's not really you but the demons enraging inside you. Since prosperity is vanity, may you not attain such vanity in life. |
dazzlingd:He is a minister of the Gospel who eats of the proceeds of the Vineyard; An heralder of the Prosperity Mandate - A Bishop of Bishops. Anyone who is not interested in prosperity is always free to choose poverty. Also, there are many annointed poverty preaching churches. I can always recommend one or two for you... |
The Estate consist of 50 rooms according to Churchgist and serves as the official residence of many Winners Chapel top leaders. At the center of the Estate is Oyedepo's home surrounded by that of his subbordinates.. The Bishop left the Bishop's Court some very few years ago to oversee the Canaancity Project and Covenant University which necessitated that he changed location within Canaanland... The Estate as like all of Canaanland is powered by the 15MW gas turbine which ensures that the entire community is without the noise of generator sounds. - The Estate which is very close to Canaancity is a preamble of what's to come in the Church' own estate where thousands of houses are being built for members. Currently, the Bishop's court is rumoured to be in use by Bishop Abioye, The First Vice President of The Living Faith Church - on his occasional visits to canaanland. The Estate also has its own helipad for quick travel or for conveyance to the airport. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=335541377212978&id=226796954754088

Alexaonfleek:Covenant university and AUN are the only two notable universities founded before 2010 that never lost an accreditation. Pls be guided. Also, Princeton an ivy league does not offer medicine yet it is a top notch university... |
The truth is the vast majority of us leaving in Lagos state are already intellectually enslaved. How can a seating governor be turned to a lame duck yet the people keep looking on... It is terrible that the same people who cheered Ambode on have left him to his doom simply because of a greedy political establishment that keeps amassing wealth tiredlessly... |
Wow congrats to all of them |
Speaking against Islam isn't hate speech, it is free speech... |
A man who has Tinubu as a political ally would never earn my respect as an anti corruption crusader.... Buhari's so called anti graft warfare is a farce gone too far. It's merely a tool to repress the opposition - when i start seeing EFCC detain top members of the APC then we can start taking them serious. |
CodeTemplar:Well truth is you wouldn't see this news on punch on vanguard - This news was deliberately dug out by churchgist, if not you wouldn't hear of it. Also, it is personal charitable acts that should be concealed. However, when you are using the commonwealth of the church then the members have the responsibility to know what it is being used for. |
Ibeoymie forever has my respect. Not just because he built a home for the elderly but the fact that he made a statement of church unity... Even as a Pentescostal i know the Catholic Church is best suited for missions such as this. God bless you tremendously Sir. |

The David Ibiyeomie led Salvation Ministries has officially handed over the home for the elderly it singlehandedly built to the Catholic Church today. I'm not surprised this is happening. I don't blame the university staff neither do i blame the students. However, hike in fees may be the pragmatic solution to Lautech's challenges. This is a lesson to admission seekers, if your parents are of a modest background, just do well and apply to Federal universities. Codetemplar |

Dmakoy pps remove the picture of his family - no need dragging people's children into what they know nothing of. |
Lanre Amodu is a very fine pick. Truth is of recent, the Alumni was hell bent on him leaving so i knew it was just a matter of time. Over the years he has used Oyedepo's influence to familiarise himself with the top most people in Nigeria's government - Governors, Senators, Religious leaders, he goes with Oyedepo on every top level trip so i know he would pick himself up again. Oludayo, regardless of his fault was also a fantastic advocate for students. He was a leading voice in the fight to get NUC to overhaul the Nigerian curriculum and decentralise academia. |
2buffagain:You are not serious at all... Your Sowore, that disrespectful boy will not win his local govt much less the south west. Didn't Moghalu, Jang et al visit Oyedepo in his office. Are we saying he has automatically endorsed three candidates. People of Winners will vote their consciense-even in 2015, ppl still supported Buhari.
|
2buffagain:You've written a whole lot of ridiculous stuff. You are just making a storm out of a glass of water - the bishop has in many cases met with a whole number of presidential aspirants and has never told anyone specifically to vote any particular candidate. So what is all this epistle about? |

Jaynom:The living faith church nor oyedepo never participated in any asset evaluation with forbes ro arrive at that figure of wealth. The Forbes report was written by an unserious fellow called mfonobong nsehe( i have my reasons for calling him unserious) What he analyzed was some church assets e.g Covenant university, Landmark and so called four jets. He just estimated because he had no access to these properties. As at 2013 check with NUC, Landmark alone was worth $100 million at take off. Investment at Covenant is over 100 Billion. Oyedepo does not keep much money in accounts from what i know but his access to wealth is beyond normal. The Church housing city in Ota is budgeted at 1 Billion USD(360 Billion naira). They don't even rent space for parking jet, they own an hangar that can park 6 jets. Can Atiku Afford to build An Airstrip on 3000 acres of land like living faith is doing in Ota? Atiku kept his university at 3 million naira to survive, oyedepo subsidized his to be 800,000.00 and ask me which one made it to the world ranking first? - just go and look at all the buildings that were donated by friends and partner in AUN. Not one building in Covenant was endowed by friend, partner or politician, not one! save for the banks that collected land to build. I know other churches that have solicited support from outsiders to endow buildings... |
BabaO2:Show me a Nigerian politician that is not corrupt first.. Is it Buhari? you must be a Joker. And if Buhari has proof of Atiku's corruption then why has he not prosecuted Atiku... Is Oyedepo EFCC that would investigate whether allegations against a private citizen is true or not. Who should we blame between a President who has access to state marchinery to investigate, prosecute and convict a corrupt official but rather chose to work with him in advancement of his own selfish political goal and a pastor who has no briefing from EFCC? If any corrupt politician walks free today it is the complete fault of the government in Power(Buhari). As long as the govt in power have refused to prosecute for a court of law to indict then there is no case... |
