People that are not well, How much can Atiku pay Oyedepo - that's assuming Atiku is even wealthier..

Some even said the man's church has ran out of money and that one cracked me up. Winners reserve lasan would fund some states in Nigeria.
Christianity Etc › Bishop Oyedepo: "I Have Never Received A Dime From Any Political Candidate" by HigherEd(op): 2:23pm On Oct 14, 2018
"I have never taken any dime from any candidate in my life. I am a mediator.

The price of peace is quite cheaper than the cost of war.

I belong to all political parties you belong, there is no political party in Nigeria where there are no (member of) Winners including the ones yet unformed."

Bishop David Oyedepo

l concur, to even think that we have several multi national companies in that axis from Unilever, Nestle foods, Glaxo smitkline, flour Mills and up to the igbesa freezone is heart breaking, there are more than 100 companies from Agbara to Lusada, but the useless state government collect millions as taxes from that zone and has refused to fix the roads, I also heard that winners Chapel wanted to fix the same road but Ogun state government wanted the church to give them the cash but the church refused angry
Can you imagine

Thank you so much for bringing this report for the world to see. There is no week that passes and a trailer doesn't fall on a car or hits a bike man on this road. I know of a man who was killed by a trailer yesterday on this road. This road is a death trap! This is a Federal road for goodness sake! It has been abandoned by FG. State, local government and even Winners Chapel that was working on the road in earlier years has abandoned the road. What a pity! What a country!!!
Wow! Do you have any idea why Winners Chapel stopped working on the road. I would be grateful if the church can help resolve some of our road crisis. But it would be terrible if it was the govt that stopped them from working on it.

If truly Atiku has picked Peter Obi from southeast as his VP,
then the APC led FG may use it against them. How?

The FG may relax the security in the SE and SS during elections to allow
IPOB carry out no vote threat which will lead to low voters turn out against PDP.
if ipob goes on the street and do that. It would cost Atiku the election but IPOB will suffer greatly in the hands of Buhari next term when he is no longer threatened.

This protest by ipob would also increase an anti atiku sentiment in the north.
Of everything that can go wrong with atiku's candidacy IPOB is number one.

I'm a yoruba man going for Atiku and i agree 100% that the South East deserves the VP slot. I worry a little with Osinbanjo on the ticket some hinterland communities in SW would most likely go for APC forgetting the issues.

I pray Buhari would make a mistake and drop Osinbanjo for an Easterner, that would mark the burial of APC in Nigeria.

If not Atiku by picking a South East vp must intensify his campaign in SW and NC - These are going to be the battleground for 2019.

Politics › Re: Sponsoring Pilgrims With Government’s Funds Is Criminal - Emir Of Kano, Sanusi by HigherEd:
It really makes no sense, an underveloped country pouring money into Saudi's coffers. The stupidity has also inspired Christians to start requesting for state sponsored pilgrimmage - thereby adding money into the economy of three developed Nations -Saudi, Italy and Isreal.

Those three nations have used religion to better their own economies while Africa keeps languishing. The least thing Organized religion can do is to bring religious tourist into the country like the SCOAN guy but instead we keep running across the globe looking for what is not missing. As for Christians Jesus is in heaven, the Holy Spirit is in you, stop courting state funds for unneeded trips. As for Muslims Hajj has not bettered anyone's life you would still come back to Nigeria with all your troubles waiting for you - that is if you don't die running from something that is not chasing you.

Politics › Re: 2019: What If Atiku Wins And Buhari Fails To Concede? by HigherEd:
And we would have the international community intervene. The international community may tolerate a rigged election as they have done for many African elections. But once the INEC declares Atiku the victor and Buhari refuces to concede then it would be the beginning of a series of sh**t ton of calamity befalling Nigeria.

1) At the least International sanctions would definitely kick in. The sanctions would range from Political to Economic and would definitely plunge Nigeria into a recession.

2) Exiling Atiku to a safer neighbouring country would be the priority of the International community - He may be Sworn-In another country.
- If Atiku escapes Nigeria alive it would be mega problem for Buhari because he(Atiku) would be recognised by the Intl community. This would make any invasion of Nigeria a very likely option.

3) A military intervention would be considered - ECOWAS would take a back seat because of Nigeria's relatively large army. If all goes well at United Nations Security Council and US secures a unanimous vote for intervention then an intense aerial and naval incursion would occur. The US/NATO alliance would decimate Nigeria's naval, aerial and ground forces within five working days. At this point Buhari may give up and hand over or waith for the enforcers to reach his door step - The ability of the US white house intervening will largely be determined by the outcome of the Next US midterm, if republicans hold both houses of congress then the White house may get a mandate to intervene in a future Nigerian crisis.

If US fails to get an approval from UNSC or US congress to interveñe then sanctions remain, economy would remain down and Nigeria may fall into a civil war...

You P.I.Gs think only you people understand the game going on. Let me tell you cristal clear that there is no differences between the 2019 election and that of 2015. That Atiku represents christians (just like GEJ was in the 2015) while Buhari is still mostly favour by muslims in the coming election, is not a secret.
The little difference is that it going to be a win win situation for the muslims no matter the outcomes.
And you can guess who are the losers even before the first vote is cast.
Buhari or Atiku, wailers are in for more wailings!
You are ignorant. It is not going to be a win win for islamic fundamentalist like you. An Atiku presidency would see to the adequate representation of Christians at the Ministerial and govt level. Since we would bring him to power he would do his best not to losethe bloc vote of those that brought him to power. And when he is done we would return a godly christian to power!

Even if he endorses him, it's inconsequential tbh. Afterall he was on Gej's side in 2015.
You don't understand politics. 2015 was a clash between a Christian and a Muslim. 2019 is a clash between a Muslim and a Muslim, any candidate that can secure 90% of Christian vote may be cruising to the villa because Atiku would definitely grab many Muslim votes too.

So what are you saying now??

That it is wrong to endorse Atiku or what??

Besides are u his spokesman or did Oyedepo tell u that he didn't endorse Atiku??
No we are simply doing a fact check. Even though i am completely Atikulated, it is still irresponsible for a pastor to openly endorse a candidate. Oyedepo and Adeboye know this, and they have both never endorsed any presidential candidate... The Buhari/Osinbanjo candidacy was never endorsed by Adeboye, it was merely assumed just like this visit...

But, unfortunately the Buharist are so ignorant that they fail to understand that by Nigeria's geographical classification Oyedepo is a Northerner not a Southerner.

So what is wrong if a Northerener like Oyedepo or Enenche questions why their own region is always seeking for political dominance?

This is the so called "Fulani Attire" that the funny supporters of APC are claiming was adorned out of hypocricy.

Christianity Etc › Why Oyedepo's Meeting With Atiku Was Not An Exclusive Endorsement(Photos) by HigherEd(op):
The first part of these piece is to answer genuine questions from Christians asking why Oyedepo chose to support Atiku against Moghalu, Fela and Jang who are Christians also seeking to run for the presidency.

If you noticed in previous pictures regarding the meeting that took place at Obasanjo's residence, Oyedepo actually avoided joining hands with Kukah, Gumi, Obasanjo and Atiku.

It is normal for Aspiring presidential aspirants to tour religious organizations and this should not automatically be construed as an exclusive endorsement.

While Christian clergy are vocal about the participation of Christians in office, there is also need to be pragmatic and realistic. The most credible candidate that can remove Buhari is an Atiku candidacy.

Oyedepo has also shown in recent weeks his support for christians vying for the Office of the President by meeting with Jang and Moghalu.

To Buharist

When all tricks couldn't work the ignorant Buharist supporters referred to Oyedepo's comment questioning why the North should always rule. But, unfortunately the Buharist are so ignorant that they fail to understand that by Nigeria's geographical classification Oyedepo is a Northerner not a Southerner.

So what is wrong if a Northerener like Oyedepo or Enenche questions why their own region is always seeking for political dominance?

Also, noted is that the outfit Oyedepo was wearing is an attire he has been wearing for years now and is not because he wants to look appealing to Fulani Northerners.

Oyedepo Meeting With Moghalu
Oyedepo Meeting With Jang

You are being needlessly arrogantly. Popular Technocrats in the South West are part of the APC establishment. You also seem to confuse being a technocrat and being popular. Osinbanjo is a technorat but was not so popular till Tinubu brought him out from his war chest.

I particularly prefer folks like Adebayo Ogunlesi or Adesina because they aren't too intertwined with the political establishment.. Ogunlesi with a very impressive profile would easily be my pick if he would agree. But i'm not sure if the man is still a Nigerian sef...
